Whether or not you like the pizza here will depend on what your expectation is of what you will be getting. Do not expect to get anything even remotely NY style…(which they definitely do not claim) Their pizza is more similar to Papa John’s. It was not bad at all. I loved the crust and sauce but did not like the cheese.

Ordered delivery from this place in the past. All of a sudden, he refuses to deliver. Always tipped the drivers well too. Pizza is not bad. Terrible customer service.

After years of passing by, I finally ordered a pizza from this place. It was delicious! I ordered the veggie pizza, and was very impressed. The crust was light, perfect sauce, cheese was not too overpowering, but the best part was the toppings. Those veggies… ohhh the veggies! They were super fresh, deliciously crunchy, the perfect additions to a great pizza. When I walked in to pick it up, I realized they had delivery, which is awesome for next time(and there will be a next time). The staff was super friendly, and they seemed to know everyone that came in, very cool. I am so glad I found this place, I will definitely be going back!

Worst disgusting pizza ever. The cheese was slopped on and the meat thrown on later it was just the worst pizza I have ever eaten. I had to literally throw the damn thing up it was that nasty. Stay away from this pizza joint I should of stayed with Pizza Hut, it’s unfortunate just moved and was looking for a great pizza place and found the worst.

Good pizza joint to get delivery or takeout(not a sit down restaurant). You can’t beat a large one topping for 7.99 any day of the week(pickup only).Definitely worth a try.

Very good pizza with a lot of varieties like buffalo chicken and gyro pizzas! Lots of toppings and very fresh. Grilled chicken caesar salad was huge and delicious as well!

Doubles is a good option in the area for delivery or carryout. The pizza is better than the typical pizza chains and is a great value at $ 7.99 carryout for a large one topping pizza and just a few dollars more for delivery. The crust is rather bland but the toppings and sauce are good. If you’re in the mood for pizza delivery, this is a good place.

This is our family’s favorite pizza spot. We get a take out or delivery pizza from here at least once a week. The pizza is delicious! And they make it exactly how you want it, so when I ask for light cheese and extra sauce they do just that! So happy to have this pizza place near our home! And the owners are extremely polite and take very good care of their customers! Love this place! Taste amazing!!!

You know it’s good when you order from a new place two Friday nights in a row. That’s what happened after we finally tried Doubles Pizza after having it bookmarked for a year. Who doesn’t love a good Friday night pizza dinner? At this point we have tried both carry out and delivery. Both were fairly fast. The pizza is similar to Johnny’s in both quality and taste though slightly better and more reasonably priced. It’s not the best pizza in the world but it’s a step up and something different from most chain restaurants. I’m a bigger fan than my husband, but I can’t find much to complain about here: tasty crust and sauce, good cheese that isn’t a grease pit, and a price that makes my frugal heart feel kind of warm and fuzzy.

The pizza here is perfectly done every time. We usually get the«double-double» which is: two large pizza’s with two toppings each. Comes to about $ 20. The pies are large enough to feed a crowd and the crust holds up to all the extra cheese and toppings. Its also not a greasy pizza and heats up great the next day. They are always made from scratch and fresh to order. Just the way your Italian mother would have done back in the ‘olé country. Pick a couple up for the next college game!

This has been our favorite pizza delivery in Atlanta for the past four years. Quick, consistent, good prices. The pepperoni and onion is our go to favorite. Good sandwiches, too.

I am shocked by the 4.5 star rating for this place. I rely on Unilocal as a guide for new places and in this case I ordered from Double’s assuming I could trust the Unilocal community, but not so. The pizza is just… Lame. Sauce is too sweet, crust is nearly flavorless, too much(fake?) cheese… It’s just not good. «Edible» is not the same as «good», people.

Doubles would not be open if they did not make a quality product. Structurally sound pizza dough that did not sag under all the toppings. Great sauce. And fast! What’s not to love from a local joint that, from what the owner told me, has been open for 22 years and 98% of his customers are loyal repeats. Good to know.

Why? This pizza tastes like 5th grade cafeteria pizza you ate because your mom was unwilling to make you a ham and cheese sandwich. awful AWFUl SOAWFUL If you are drinking heavily and need food, go here and you may be satisfied, but its only worth it if those are the circumstances.

So I have lived less than a mile from this place for the last three years. The shopping center is a dump and there is nothing impressive about the signage or the store front, so I wrote the place off. That was a mistake! This was a really solid pizza! So many places, especially the chains, quite frankly shouldn’t be in the pizza making business. The only thing they do right is be consistent. Unfortunately, they are consistently garbage or just mediocre. Sadly this leaves me patronizing the more«upscale» pizza joints that charge way more than they should and dont deliver. Which as a single parent, i don’t mind shelling out a few bucks for a great pizza that I like when it is me and the kid, but you start adding mouths with their friends, it gets expensive real quick. Not to mention, i have issues paying 15 dollars for a cheese pizza. So usually what I do is order crap pizza from Dominos or Little Ceasers for them and then I make myself a sandwich. Finally I have found a place at a very reasonable price point and the pizza is really good! Now I am going to put out there that I am from the south and we certainly don’t have an identity when it comes to pizza. However, I spent a lot of years working in the fine dining business and know what quality food is. So I am not one of these self righteous Yankees that complain about a pizza because it isn’t exactly like what they are used to, so they dismiss it as crap. Which is why we don’t care for Northerners, but that is neither here nor there. Point being of all this rambling… give these guys a chance. I had the specialty meat pizza. The crust is thin, but not one of the super thin crispy crust. The sauce was decent and covered the pizza and like I saw on another post, they didnt skimp on the toppings. Only complaint is that they didnt have a website so i could see the menu. I had to find a picture that was taken of a mail insert.

This is our neighborhood«go-to» for pizza, especially late night! Being from the Chicago area, I’ll admit that I am picky when it comes to my pizza. By picky I mean that when there is something that you love, you know what you like and what you don’t. I appreciate quality ingredients, texture, temperature, etc… so when moving to Georgia and coming across many NY style pizza places I had to give each their own shot at becoming our new«go-to», even if it wouldn’t be my first choice back home. We ran into quite a few disappointments, mainly those with soggy crust and poor quality cheese or sauce. Doubles was one of the first places that we tried and, after making our rounds through other area pizzerias(most of which charged much more per pie) we ended up back at Doubles for their fast, cheap & consistently satisfying pizzas. Perks: They are open late for take-out and delivery. They have coupons. A large cheese pizza for take-out is only $ 8! The crust is somewhere between thin and fluffy, but not soggy, and they use plenty of toppings. They are FAST. Our order is always ready in 15 minutes or less. Awesome.

Good solid pizza! Definitely a step up from pizza chains. They don’t skimp on the toppings and they accommodate wings with no sauce for the kids. Cant wait to try some of their specialty pizzas and other items from their menu. You can find their menu here…
