Cothron’s Specialized in all locksmith services, to inclue automotive, residential and commercial locksmithing. We also sell, repair, rent, deliver and install any safes regardless of where they were purchased.

Cothron’s has a extensive electronic security division that handles Burglar Alarm system installation and sales, Home Automation, CCTV, and Access Control.

We are also a door and frame company and can install/​repair Wood, Hollow metal, and steel doors, as well as aluminum store front doors and frames.

History

Established in 1948.

Cothron’s Security Professional was started by Olen Cothron after returning from World war II. Mr Cothron started the company as a small locksmith and bicycle repair kiosk in downtown Austin. The company has expanded to what it is today, a complete security company. To this day Cothron’s is a locally family owned and operated company.

A long-​time Austinite, Chris is celebrating his 20^th year with Cothron’s Safe and Lock and 24^th year in locksmithing. Like many Austinites, Chris enjoys Torchy’s Tacos, video games and playing music with friends in local bands
