My wife and I have been blessed with 3 beautiful children. Dr. Millar and his staff have been wonderful to us and our little family. I come from a big family and have heard horror stories about other doctors. I feel Dr. Millar and his staff are always willing and waiting to help us with any of our questions and concerns. They are all very thorough and detailed. Customer service to me is very important and the office does a great job. So if you are looking for a great Dr. Look no more.

We switched to park valley from a much larger practice just before my daughter turned a year and we are so happy with the switch! They seem to truly remember us and care about my daughter, she’s not just a $$ or a number, it’s such a refreshing change!!!
My daughter is so comfortable here and everyone is so gentle and kind with her. They always get us in quickly and are great at answering questions. If she needs to be seen they say so but if she can be treated at home they tell us what to do. Her Doctor even called us at home to check on her when she’s had more serious illnesses! I can’t say enough good things about Park Valley, we’ve been here for 2 years and have no plans to change.

Just moved from California. Found Dr Millar based on Unilocal reviews. I couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience with our 4 month old’s check-​up. The staff was nice and responsive and Dr Millar was kind and knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions. The nurse was efficient in administering my daughters vaccines too! The rooms were clean, new, bright, and very colorful. They also have well/​sick waiting rooms with a fish tank and wall dividing them. I am very happy with this Dr!

We have been going to this office for over 3 years, since we moved to the area. It was hard leaving behind the pediatrician who cared for my three boys ever since they were born.
We made the right choice in selecting a pediatrician in Round Rock! Dr. Corpuz was the kids primary doctor and we saw Dr Millar on some sick visits. Now we only see Dr Millar because Dr Corpuz moved to a different practice. We adore both of them! Dr. Millar really takes his time to be thorough and deal with whatever is going on. He is very kind and caring with the kids and they are very comfortable with him. The office staff is also wonderful! I would give more stars if I could

I miss Dr. Millar and his office. We moved to Houston two years ago and seeing how pedis are here, I never realized how good I had it with my first son. My baby was a patient in 2012 so do your own research to how it is now, but here is what i liked.
— nurses that have been around the block and are sweet
— someone answers the phone when you call
— kid friendly decorated rooms (toddlers would love it)
— lolly pops– not just stickers
— They have cute little cards with the babies measurements and what to be looking for with milestones (great for scrapbooks)
— I filled out a survey with how baby was doing and asked how I was doing too before appointments. I originally thought that was some State of Texas big brother regulation. With my Houston doctor, my well baby check ups are surprising lacking getting feedback from me (not sure if it is because it is my second baby or what)
— Dr. Millar called me mama. If you don’t like being called mama don’t go there, but you should get use to it as you will be called it later.
— Dr. Millar was very knowledgeable and tackled situations as they arrived. He and his back up Corpus were excellent and I didn’t care who we saw when my son was sick.
Now why didn’t I put 5 stars you ask? Millar missed a little element from my sons newborn screening but he caught in later appointment and in time for treatment. Also, it was a pain to get the records when we moved but we got them. But really a great doctor and office all in all. As my husband said tonight. You never miss what you had until it’s gone.

My son is now 14 and has been with Dr. Millar since birth. He’s truly dedicated to his patients, families and staff. We’ve never had an issue with getting an appointment and his staff always follow through. Dr. Millar or one of his counterparts are always on call and will call you back within minutes even at 2:00 am. Dr. Corpuz is awesome too. This is a team of doctors and staff who love what they do and it shows. Oh! and I love their new patient portal. All the best.

We have been going to see Dr. Millar for over 8 years now. I found his practice after we moved to the area when my son was 4 and my daughter was 2. Our youngest is 6 and he has been her doctor from birth. We love the staff. They have always been friendly, personable, and most importantly helpful! They know the kids and often ask about the other kids if we are in with only one of them. When one of the kids is sick we have always been able to get an appointment the same day or first thing the next morning. The doctors do not rush through the appointment. They spend as much time as necessary to do a thorough work up and answer all our questions. One thing we like the most is their first answer is not to just prescribe a medication for whatever is going in. For example, when we moved here our son had some sort of abcess on his eyelid. His previous pediatrician wanted to cut it open under local anesthetic. Dr. Millar instructed us on how to care for it using warm compresses and it was gone within 2 weeks. Such a simple solution that was never even suggested by the previous doctor. I can not recommend Dr. Millar and Park Valley Pedatrics enough. They are wonderful!

I cannot say enough GOOD things about Dr. Millar, his nursing staff, or the front office staff! He was recommended to us not only by the hospital staff at St. David’s RR but through our insurance company.
Dr.Millar is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He has helped my son get his reflux under control and deal with colds and other minor issues. He always listens to us and gives wonderful tips and advice. I appreciate that he tries simple solutions versus prescribing a medicine every time! He also does not try to push anything onto us.
When I call their office, I always get a call back from the nurse and even sometimes Dr.Millar. They also call to follow up and check on my son!
As far as another poster, your insurance company and coverage are not the responsibility of Dr.Millar. Ultimately, you should be on the phone with your insurance company, on their website, etc to understand your coverage and where you can go. You’re an advocate for your child. If you want to see a doctor, call your insurance company, call the specialist you want to see, etc.
That being said, I’ve never had issues with my insurance or referrals through Dr. Millar.

this md is very knowledgeable, which is great. I work at a pharmacy and get scrips all the time for nebulizers, which we can not bill to the insurance co. without even writing me one, he sent the script to a medical co. which was able to bill the insurance, i love going here, and love the amazing staff!

Dr. Millar is a great pediatrician. He has been my kids’ doctor since we moved to the Austin area. I continue to bring my children to see him even though we had moved farther from his office. I owe it to my children to have an exceptional doctor. He is very knowledgable, caring, and accessible. He answers my concerns promptly. We have recommended Dr. Millar to many of my family and friends and they too have had the same experience with him. I recently called him for my son’s bad eye infection and within an hour I was referred to an eye doctor. His office staff are wonderful and very helpful.

Steer clear of this pediatrician!!! We had to choose a pediatrician when we had our youngest child. The nurse at the hospital recommended Dr. Millar. Being new to TX we decided to have all four of our kids seen at the same place. Everything was ok at first until my oldest got injured. Dr. Corpuz told us he needed to be seen by an Orthopedist. They told us they would find one to refer us to. About a week later we get a call that the only one they could find was out of network. But that we could still be seen there, but would need approval for every visit. We called to make an appointment and were told that we could not be seen there. So we called Dr. Millars office back and we’re told they would call us back. The return call never came. After almost a month of waiting we took our adult sized child to Dell children’s they referred us to the sports medicine clinic, unfortunately they did not have any appointments for more than a month. We were told to call our primary care physician to get a knee immobilizer and have them order an MRI. So we did and have now spent hours arguing with Dr. Millars office. Unfortunately he feels the need to talk over his clients. And allows his staff to behave in a completely rude and unprofessional manner. We had to get our insurance involved just to get a referral sent to another Orthopedist. Meanwhile my son is in pain and they refuse to do their jobs. Beyond ridiculous! Save yourself the trouble and find a decent pediatrician for your child. They deserve to be treated with respect and so do the parents! These people are money hungry scumbags! They took an oath to do no harm! My son has absolutely gotten worse waiting for these people to do what they should have done weeks ago. And don’t bother trying to complain you will just be called a liar and interrupted the entire time you try to speak. Filing a complaint with the medical board. And getting a lawyer!

Dr. Millars office has changed quite a bit. When I first stepped foot into this doctors office it was when my little brother was 2.. he Is now 8. over those years dr. Millar has separated medicaid patients from the other medical insuranced patients. In the medicaid office. Dr. Millar is NEVER there. While over the past year and a half my son was seen by nurses and doctors there that I felt like cared less just because he is on medicaid although, he was seen by a nurse named Jennifer who is perfect and doctor corpus is amazing. My son unfortunetly was sick a lot from «common viruses.» As well as ear infections. Before he got his tubes i would hear he had no ear infection one day, bring him in the next day and another doctor said he had an ear infection. this last time I took him for a high fever, cough runny nose etc (although I did give him Tylenol to take his fever away) they said he was fine and lungs sound clear etc. I knew my son was not fine and took him to another doctor where they told me he has a upper respitory infection and that he may be allergic to milk. And That may be why he gets sick so much. I wonder why I never was aware of Any of this at doctor Millars office.. needless to say, I’ll never be going back. What a joke.

Compassionate, caring and knowledgeable. In addition Dr Millars office staff is wonderful. I will continue to refer to Dr Millar.

Beautiful office. Exam rooms and waiting room have hand painted murals done by Dr.Millar. My daughter is always excited to see which room we’ll get when we visit.
Dr.Millar is caring and very friendly. He’s always called me back personally when I need a question answered at home. His office staff has always treated us well, so I was surprised to read the reviews about them being rude. We’ve never experienced anything like that.
I love that there are separate entrances for sick patients and well patients. This makes me feel a lot more comfortable when I bring my kids in for there regular check ups.

Dr. Millar and Dr. Corpuz along with the nurses have all been great!!! Both doctors take the time to examine my daughter from head to toe to ensure that joints and bones are well for her checkups and she is where she needs to be for her age. I really like going there because I feel comfortable in that they are taking measures for my daughter to be healthy. Also when I have taken her in or even called when she is sick, they always return call and see her promptly and treat illness to the T. My daughter seems to get well soon after dr. Prescribes meds so this is very comforting!!! Also staff is always helpful and willing to answer questions. The office manager I believe is an Asian lady, she is soo fabulous and sweet and very friendly! I can’t find any other place where I would trust my biggest treasure! If you are searching for the right pediatricians and office for your child, then search no more! You will be very satisfied with these doctors :)

Dr Millar is wonderful, and he recently partnered with Dr Corpuz, equally great. I initially found him because he was close to my home, but I since moved and give quite the drive but it is worth it. I had one negative event, which cost him the one star, in which I felt I was not being heard as a mom, but that since got straightened out. Because of that event I changed doctors, but she didn’t survive. After 3 months with the new doctor, I went running back to Dr Millar. I like being heard, my concerns are very valid, even if I’m being paranoid, and the only doctor able to handle that is Dr Millar and staff. He understands the level of quality I want when it comes to my kiddos’ health, for me that is no joke. He has worked around many of my demands and I won’t go changing again. I have never had any negative comments about his staff, they are very friendly and I have always felt at ease when it comes to the nurses. Like I mentioned before, I tried elsewhere, but Millar is as good as it gets!

Dr. Millar was an amazing doctor, honestly caring and concerned. We went to meet him, to make sure he would be a good fit for our family, and he was great. His office charged us $ 20 just to meet him, which I thought was unheard of, and has never happened to us before. The staff was unhelpful, and flat out rude. I figured I would not need to visit with the staff just the doctor, but it turns out it just doesn’t work that way. They have no control over paper work, files, or any kind of understanding of what a good attitude is. It is so sad. A good doctor cannot go too far with out a good staff to back him up. I have read other reviews and it seems that Dr. M has lost other patients based on his staff alone. I remember thinking «That’s the staff, NOT the doctor.» As luck would have it, I was very wrong, and you can’t get to the doctor until you get through the staff. The nurses were rude, the front desk uncaring, and these are the people that you must also trust if your child is involved. Poor Dr. Millar was at least four stars alone, but as a whole his office has easily taken him to one star.
We have officially left his office due to the lack of effort by his staff to ensure they had all records ahead of time. Combined with horrible attitudes, and utter lack customer service was the last straw. Good luck Dr. M!

Absolutely amazing! He’s been my daughter’s pediatrician since the day she was born. He is such a brilliant, nice man and great with children. When my daughter is sick, they get her an appointment in an hour! Beyond the amazingness of Dr. Millar, the entire staff and other docs are beyond spectacular.
