A&M Service Center Towing

These guys came to my rescue on a Sunday when several other tow places were too busy, so props to A & M for that. Would I use them again? Sure would.
*adds A&M to my list of tow services. Why I seem to need this service all the time is another story.

Scam artists. I wrote a note on my car at a side street so that I could get warm and call a tow truck. When I returned they towed ot, note and all. $ 200 fee

I awoke to a dead car battery. The person answering the phone was polite as was the driver who showed up even earlier than they said. The bad reviews are unfortunate. This is the 3^rd time I’ve used them and they’ve always been great.

They are great. Very reliable and quick – I locked my keys in my car and they were there within 10 minutes. The serviceman was very nice too, thanks!

It doesn’t get much worse than this experience. Complete SCAM artists in concert with local police. Long story short: my girlfriend gets run into a wall on the freeway. Thank God, she was okay and could communicate. (car wouldn’t drive; wheel destroyed) She immediately called me and we set up for AAA to pick the car up and a friend to pick –her– up. Well, the police insisted that she get in the ambulance and be checked out even though she just had a red mark from the airbag and while she was in there (and OUR tow truck was pulling up) A&M hurried up and hooked the car up to THEIR truck and took it away. Now, on top of dealing with repairs and wasting my original tow, it’s $ 175 for the two miles they towed the car, and $ 75 to tow it to their auto repair location. (they’re NOT at the same place). So $ 250 for a tow I/​we didn’t authorize, I obviously won’t be using their repair place so I’ll be having it towed to Auto Pro in Troy. (a REAL company; although not the cheapest, they don’t sneak and possess your car while you aren’t looking to get business). Unfortunately, even though these people capitalize on towing cars at NIGHT, I can’t pay them after 5pm so now I pay storage of $ 30 a day! LMAO! You’ve got to be kidding me. All for that one day of storage you’ll get and day of work I’ll miss in order to not be charged another day?!? Sad to say, I’m as disappointed with the police as I am with A&M. STAY AWAY! *read my other reviews … I go out of my way to write GOOD ones. Never bad. This is the exception. Wish there were a negative star rating.

I was in a car accident today with my two children. The guy that was supposed to help me was the furthest thing from a gentleman. He jumped in my face and started running running off prices. I told him that AAA said everything was covered the officer told him the same thing. He rudely told me I had to pay, but I insisted I was insured and I was on hold AAA. Gawked, «You aren’t on the phone with anybody», because he saw I had an incoming call on the screen. What type of thing is that to say? Then, he looked like a total jerk because AAA was still on speaker, and when he heard the representative he looked embarrassed. He said because the police dispatcher me I had to pay, both the police and AAA representative said he was wrong. I decided to drive my car with the airbags deployed, once I saw him jump in my car a move it toward the flatbed. This company could have gotten paid from AAA and from myself because the car had to be taken 25 miles for repairs. Oh, and when the officer asked him for a jump, while my children were in the car he screamed, «Don’t shut off the damn car!» Everyone heard him. Getting into a car accident after picking your kids up from school it terrible, but he was the worse part of the experience. This guy must be family because he was rude, arrogant and a jerk. I’m calling to report it to the City of Royal Oak so they won’t dispatch this jerk to people in need.

I just used A&M Towing for the first time today and their service was great. Not only was the truck prompt, the driver was polite and very careful with the car. I’d use them again.

I called on a Monday morning and set up an appointment to have my car picked up at 8:00AM. At 7:45AM the driver was in front of the house waiting for me.
The driver was courteous and efficient. He also took the route I asked him to take.
When we arrived at the destination there was no monkey business with the amount of miles towed. The price was exactly as promised.
