History

Established in 1986.

Thomas Santopolo started the business in 1986 in Rutland Vermont. His Father, Joseph Santopolo, had started Danbury Chimney Cleaning in the Mid 70’s in Connecticut. Tom worked with his father over the years and decided to move to Vermont and start Rutland Chimney Services in 1986. Tom has a technical background with years of engineering education, and was a manufacturing manager at Qualitron corporation before starting the business here in Vermont. Presently two of his sons, Rick and Dan, work with him in the business. His wife Donna, takes care of all the bookkeeping.
