Dr. Bruce Allan Bob is amazing. He has been my Doctor for over 14 years now and I very confident in his abilities as a surgeon. If you hurt and no one can figure out what is going on with you — HE IS THE MAN TO SEE!

He correctly diagnosed and corrected an ongoing issue with my ovary that had kept me in pain for almost 17 years. 8 previous Doctors had incorrectly diagnosed my issue which left me to deal with the pain, feeling more like a mental patient than a patient suffering from chronic ovarian/​uterine pain.
Dr. Bob listens to what is going on with you, asks questions, maps out treatment plans/​courses of action and follows up with you. He has over 38 years of experience delivering babies and helping women with all of those strange, difficult to describe pains that cause us so much distress.

I went to this doctor due I needed a prenatal doctor fast. And, counselor at the pregnancy clinic recommend him. And, being on Blue Cross limited my choices of whom I could see. Also, I called around and could never find doctor. Everyone was back-​up for months.
I was assigned to Dr Melchione. I made an appointment. I saw him in few days. He was male doctor. He nice man but I wasn’t comfortable at all. He did my exam then schedule me for 4 wks follow-​up appt.
When I went in for my follow-​up and I saw Dr. Bob and he gave me the creeps. He was this little old man. I didnt want to be touch by this little old man at all. He looks like a old Freddy. He came in the room and just look at me. He asked if I had any problems and I told him no. He said ok and left the room. And, that was it. Like Hello? Where is my exam? Its a prenatal appt.
I was scheduled another 4 wks follow-​up appt. I asked to see Dr Melchione instead of Dr. Bob. The medical assistant said ok. Four weeks later I returned and saw the same creepy man. I was like «OMG!». This time I told him that I have questions and concerns regarding my care. He was like «what». His expression was like I was bothering him.
After I left, I was disgusted and I know I didn’t want to go back… This doctor gave me the creeps and he is the rudest doctor I have been to. There is no way, I could keep coming. I went to the West Sac office and the staff there is not helpful at all. Not friendly.
The waiting room is big room with a big white couch and lots of chairs. Its clean and pleasant but I wish the people were the same. The waiting room was always filled with people. It seems like the appts are scheduled 15 minutes apart.
Overall, my experienced here sucks… I have been pregnant before and there was no way I could keep coming here. I need a doctor that I can talk to regarding my concerns and questions.
