Carvalho’s Loan

This place is amazing! Overly friendly & they treat you right! No hassles when purchasing, and very courteous when asking questions. Honest and trustworthy. We have never pawned anything only purchased. This is our first stop when special occasions come round… like today… my husband’s birthday … hopefully we find something he just can’t live without! Hehehehe

Very unhappy and frustrated with the outcome!
My husband and myself bought a concrete saw from these guys out at roseville auction (Denios). We often buy tools for our concrete company when we see a good offer, but dont always use them right away. We paid 700 for the saw in the box with receipt so therefore did not second guess that the machine worked, although the box had been taped back shut. We finally needed to use it but the machine did not work. We took the equipment back to the pawn shop as we where given a card and told if we had any problems to contact them.
We showed up and sure enough the guy whom sold us the equipment was there. He refused to give us our money back because it was «NEW IN THE BOX»! He insisted it was our responsibility to take it to be fixed!!! How he could sell a broken piece of equipment and not want to return the money for the equipment that has never been used since it was BROKEN when we got it. BAD BUSINESS amd LIES TOLD. I do not understand how people like this stay in business, just plain fake.

This place is awesome! Very courteous and professional staff here. They treat customers with the respect and dignity they deserve. I used to pawn my jewelry here when I was very young and struggling. They were always friendly and actually smiled, unlike other pawn shops who only care about ripping you off or getting your money and treating you poorly at the same time.
Unfortunately, I came across a rough patch with my small business this year and pawned some more of my precious jewels again for a small loan. Nothing had changed! I walked in and the man who helped me was friendly and nice just like he had been, many many years ago. Sadly, I was taken advantage of and ripped off by other pawn shops, as a teen. Wish I had found Carvalho’s Loan, first. They have integrity and are a rare, trustworthy people.

I’ve always had tremendous service from these guys. Got some loans when times were tough and bought plenty from them. Straight forward and honest.
