I went to Cisco during high school and he always had my eyebrows looking PERFECT! There were times when I wasn’t getting them done at all and then I went to places that were near me but they always did just an okay job, if that.
I have been in town a few times this Summer/​Fall and was lucky enough to grab appointments. He’s even better than I remember. I just had my brows done today and I left feeling like a whole new woman. I love the care he puts into his work— it truly shows! I went browsing at a shop today and had a pair of girlfriends stop me in my tracks to let me know, «Your brows are amazing! Who does them?» You already know I told them! :)

I used to go to Cisco in high school and I was recently back in town and decided to look him up. What luck! I discovered he was still in business after 10+ years so I booked an appointment. Cisco did not disappoint! He made my brows look incredible right before my wedding. I highly recommend!

Cisco is amazing!!! I was looking for somewhere to get my brows done for my up coming wedding… you can’t just go anywhere. I had walk by his studio 100’s of times never putting the two things together. Til 1 day it came to me… his title has master in it, why wouldn’t I go to him! And let me tell you I’m sure glad I did! He made you feel very comfortable, like I had know him for years!

Stay away from this place. I had an appointment, to which I arrived on time. I was on the chair ready to start and he asked me when it was that I last touched my eyebrows. I understood the question to be when it was I had had them done, so I told him. (My eyebrows do not grow fast and I have been trying to grow them for a while but I do some clean up on the lid area.) He became condescending and said, «let me ask again.» I tried explaining that I had not had them professionally done and that I had not plucked the arch in a long time, and with a more condescending tone said, «this is not difficult, when did you last touch your eyebrows.» I finally answered his question to his liking but his tone continued to be rude and condescending. He seemed awfully comfortable treating people this way. He continued talking about how he needed to know how fast my eyebrows grow to know when to schedule my next appointment. In my mind I thought, «next appointment, I should leave now,» but I waited. I explained that his question could mean so many things and that I was only trying to explain what I meant. He said, «it is not so difficult, OMG, it is not a trick question, ok?» At that point I was upset and I did not «ok» his condescending attitude. He became upset and said our appointment was over. I said I was glad it was because I was not comfortable giving him my business. I told him he was condescending and he told me I was «so deceptive.» «What?!» Yes, the world is out to deceive the god of eyebrows about how often we «touch our eyebrows.» I am so thankful he did not attempt any work on my eyebrows; he would have probably botched them purposely. Perhaps he was having a bad day, or maybe his «LA cholo» looking eyebrows were not feeling it that day. Zero stars for being rude, condescending, and unprofessional. Don’t say you were not warned.

The price of the service stunned me. I was charged $ 50 for the brow service (including the 5 dollar discount as a first time customer). The wax was $ 25 (usually $ 30) and I was charged ANOTHER $ 25 for the tinting of my brows. I had color on my brows for approximately 7 minutes. I’ve never seen a brow tint (or wax) cost THAT much — and the extra cost wasn’t communicated to me when I asked about brow tinting. The full service took less than 30 minutes. I find paying $ 55 (plus tip), for a service that is only average too steep. I cannot justify that price.
BACKGROUND: During the course of emails back and forth with Cisco, trying to book an appointment — I was offered 3 different appointment slots. I took the first one, and 10 hours later was told, «Sorry, that time is now taken.» I reverted — and asked for the alternate time that he’d mentioned in his original email. I received a reply that that time was now taken as well. He proposed a third time, and I answered 2 minutes later with a YES.
10 minutes later, I received my third email: «So sorry, that time is now booked.» Three times I was offered a slot only to be told later, no. I found it nearly comical, and asked him if he did not want to book me. He replied that he fills up fast, and that he was offering me waiting list times (as I had a narrow window when I was in town). Fair enough; understanding the context better, it made sense. On the 4^th try, I was offered a time which stuck. Great — this better be good.
I usually like a thicker brow, with a pronounced arch. Mine looked cleaned up, but nothing like the nicely groomed brow I’m used to from the (now-​closed) Perfect Eyebrow & Makeup Center. The search continues! :(

Absolutely love Cisco ’ s work. It’s hard to get a same day appt. over two weeks ago, I needed my eyebrows done but my appt was not for another four days and I decided to take a chance on someone else. Needless to say that it was the worst mistake I’ve ever made. The lady burned my skin with the wax. My eyebrows looked horrendous. It will take 3 or 4 more appts with Cisco before they can look great again. Another gr ewww at thing about Cisco is that he is very meticulous and loves to make your eyebrows fit your face. He won’t give you a cookie cutter pattern.
If you are up for the relaxing feeling of getting your eyebrows done call him. You won’t regret it.

Today I had my second eyebrow wax with Cisco! Cisco is truly THE BEST! You may have heard that he is called the «Eyebrow God» — he absolutely lives up to those expectations! He is gentle and concerned with your long term results — not just short term.
Not only is Cisco a master at what he does, but he’s also caring & enjoyable to hold a conversation with. His studio space is modern & fun. I have never before actually looked forward to a waxing appt until now.
Oh, you will also never hear «salon music» in his studio! Thank you, Cisco, for always playing different music that I actually want to listen to!

Cisco has been doing my brows for almost three years now, and I swear I would follow him to the end of the world if I needed to. I do not trust anyone else with my brows. He really works with the shape of your face and style to find the best possible arch and shape for you. He really is a master of design. I came in with a classic horror story, my brows were just waxed so thin with no shape, and they naturally grow uneven. Cisco helped shape them to look natural, and has found a way to work with my stubborn hairs that grow in different directions. I HIGHLY recommend him to everyone. He has such an eye for this, and he WANTS to make you feel beautiful, which is exactly what you want when someone is dealing with your vanity.

My eyebrows were treacherous before I went to see Cisco. He made me look bright eyed and bushy tailed. He’s extremely honest and is quite funny! You don’t need to talk to your people that do your hair or waxing. So if you have a problem just keep your mouth shut, because he’s worth it!

What can I say! Cisco made my life. He is the best eyebrow designer I have ever met. It was hard to find somebody to fix my eyebrow. I gave up getting my eyebrows done after I have been to so many places not only in the US but also in Japan, Egypt, and Ecuador where I used to live. Until I met Cisco who reshaped my eyebrows and make them look exactly the way I want em and even better :). I highly highly highly recommend him… Cisco knows WHATS UP.

Cisco is awesome and he is helping me reshape my brows from years of over-​plucking myself! He does a beautiful job and takes his time to make sure that my brows are flawless, yet he is always quick and on time. Definitely recommend him to anyone who wants their brows done beautifully — he has the magic touch!

I came to Cisco after being referred by a friend and my eyebrows were a MESS. Not only are my eyebrows back on point but my experience at cisco’s was above and beyond. I walked in and he had blues playing and noticed he had harmonicas on his wall. after asking him about them he told me he plays and even serenaded me before my appointment! I was also feeling a little under the weather and instead of just giving me the usual «hope you feel better soon» he gave me tissues and cough drops– talk about top notch customer service. He then walked me out after my appointment and I left feeling like I was a valued client. Not not is Cisco truly an eyebrow master-​my brows have NEVER looked better; but his customer service is the best I have ever experienced. Thank you Cisco!

I’ve been going to Cisco for a couple of years after my hair stylist recommended him and I’ve loved every single eyebrow experience.
Cisco is such a nice caring person, I enjoy our conversations, and his studio is beautiful. I love Cisco’s work, he is a true eyebrow professional, and I would highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed, once you get your brows done with Cisco you will never touch them again yourself or go anywhere else.

I have been going to Cisco for a while now. He does amazing work and really knows his stuff. I’m EXTREMELY picky and always looking for the right person to be a loyal customer to. Cisco is the only person I’ve found worthy enough and I trust him with my face… that is how confident I am in his work.
He is one of the most professional businessmen I’ve come across. From day one, he has been right on time, EVERY time, and that is HUGE, especially for someone like me who can only meet during a quick break from work. If I’m running late, I respect his decision to reschedule because he might have a client right after me that will be on time. He is dedicated to his clients and their time, too. To me, that is professional, ethical and respectful. Cisco is extremely detailed, organized, honest, accommodating, reliable, and has great communication. From one professional to another, he is as good as it gets and I have the utmost respect for him, his work and how he does business.
I have absolutely no doubt that if you’re looking for eyebrows that compliment your face, personality and everything you could imagine, Cisco has the knowledge, experience and skills to make it happen. He truly does beautiful work!!!

I recently moved to Sacramento from LA and have been disappointed by the results I’ve had with other local waxing salons.
Last week I had my first appointment with Cisco and couldn’t be happier with his proficiency. He kindly agreed to take me as a last minute appointment at closing time and everything about the experience was 5 star, including the posh Beverly Hills-​esque facilities at Studio 55, the quality of Cisco’s work and Cisco himself. He’s very warm, very friendly and was very patient listening to me nervously repeat about a million times what I wanted before my butt was even in the seat.
Somehow he managed to whip my brows into a really lovely shape with the arch and fullness I requested. This was especially impressive to me since I went in with brows that were over-​plucked and super uneven because I had taken it upon myself to do them at home rather than get another botch job at a salon. Turns out it’s much harder than it looks. :P
He offers a $ 10 discount for first time customers and $ 5 cash discount to regular clients. Try him out, even if you don’t do regular waxing but want to have your brows professionally shaped and do regular maintenance at home.

I went and saw Cisco a couple weeks ago at his Studio located in the Pavillion center. I found out about Cisco through my trolling on reviews but more importantly, he is well known within the building where he works. He has a good reputation so I decided to visit him.
He is such a nice person. He treated me very well and I enjoyed our conversation. When you go to a new person for beauty treatments, it can often be awkward and not that great. Cisco is easy to talk to and I enjoyed visiting him. In fact, time slipped away that I had to rush home! I couldn’t believe how easy the conversation flowed.
So how did your eyebrows come out — you ask. They look great and Cisco takes so much time and has an eye for detail. I had been going to another brow artist who rushes and I ended up with some holes in my eyebrows.
Overall, I love Cisco’s work, his studio and who he is as a person. I would highly recommend him if you’re within driving distance of Sacramento. You will not be disappointed.

I am the type of person that my friends ask who I go to for various personal services: facial, hair, dentist, massage because I am very picky. Cisco does an excellent job every time — I never have had any breakouts or over waxing. He respects my time as I respect his. I never have had to wait more than 5 minutes.
I also enjoy our chats during the service. He is a very interesting and caring person — he takes his work very seriously and is a perfect professional. I recommend him wholeheartedly.

As an 7 year client, I had to write a review not only to speak about Cisco’s amazing work but defend him regarding the claims in those bad reviews! From what I read, these women are giving him 1 – 2 stars because they were «running late» and he cancelled their appointment. Anyone who is a client of the beauty industry or works in the beauty industry knows time is money! It would be unfair to his next client to inconvenience them due to someone else’s tardiness.
Now onto the good stuff; when I went to Cisco 7 years ago, my brows were unruly and I thought I would suffer at their shape or lack of forever. Having tried place after place, a girlfriend recommend I try Cisco. I consulted with him via email prior to scheduling my appointment and he was eager to accept the challenge I had bestowed upon him! I had little faith.
I booked my appointment a month out to give my brows a good grow out. They were not where I wanted them to be by my appointment time, which made me even more skeptical. Cisco told me upon appointment that I was a perfect canvas for his work and boy did he work his magic!
I’m a pretty frugal girl, so the fact that I drive an hour away and spend $ 30 a month plus gas speaks to Cisco’s talent. I have referred several happy girls to him and I am a client for life!

Very unprofessional businessman. I had an appointment and I arrived 15 minutes prior to our scheduled time. Upon entering his salon he said, «we don’t have an appointment.» I was surprised considering that I had an appointment. He continued to tell me that he sent me a text. At that point, I remembered that I changed my telephone number and I informed him of such. He asked me if I wanted to update my number and of course, I declined and walked out. He wasted my time and then he wanted me to update my number!!!
I am a professional person and when I make an appointment, I expect that a professional business person will hold my appointment unless I cancel. I followed up with him and sent him an email telling him how unprofessional he was and his response was as follows:
«I confirm all of my appointment. If I do not receive a reply I reserve the right to offer that appointment to a clint on the waiting list.»
Additionally, I don’t know why I even went back after my first appointment. He ripped my skin off of my brows on my first appointment! Guess he did me a favor after all by canceling my second appointment!

Had my first appointment with Cisco today, and I’m a believer.
I have been having problems with my eyebrows since I moved back to Cali. One horrible wax job at the end of 07 (a lady waxed HALF of them off) has made it difficult to get them back to how they used to be. I never really thought about going to an eyebrow specialist to get them fixed until last year. I took to Unilocal and found Cisco.
After the birth of my son, I started letting my eyebrows grow out so that Cisco had something to work with. I was nervous and excited about my appointment. I didn’t know if he’d be able to fix what’s been messed up for so long.
He sent me a reminder text yesterday and met him today for my very first appointment with the brow master. Cisco is friendly, professional, and has a contagious smile. He saw my 2.5 month old son and we hit it off talking about our kids.
I’m usually a bit quiet when I have a first appointment with a stylist being that we’re just meeting each other, but once the ice was broken with Cisco, he was able to hold a good conversation while working his magic on my brows. He is a perfectionist (and a Virgo yay!) — a definite must for someone that is going to be in the beauty game, especially when it comes to a feature that completes your face.
Cisco worked quickly after evaluating the mess I had tried growing out. He amazed me with how quickly he came up with a guideline for my brows and started waxing and plucking away. My eyebrows were definitely improved 100% after my visit with him.
I will definitely only see him for my eyebrows!
