Wow! Steve is great. My husband and I took in a ring that I had purchased online to see if it was worth what I had paid for it. After reading all the great reviews for Crown Precious Metals we decided to give it a try. Steve was extremely nice and helpful. He tested the stones and weighed the gold for us all at no charge. We ended up staying for about 40 minutes talking about other items we had that he might be interested in seeing and just plain visiting like you would with a good friend. He has some interesting items in his shop, old pocket knives, coins, watches, old toy soldiers, etc. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I were both given rings recently that came from family members. They needed to be appraised and Steve gave us a good idea of the value without charging for his service. He was thorough in his examination and offered his advice on their worth. He’s a nice guy on top of it so it was a very good experience. I highly recommend.

We recently needed to determine the approximate value of several jewelry items and military medals and luckly went to Crown Precious Metal’s Folsom Avenue store in East Sacramento where we met Steve King. He spent the morning going through the materials with us, actually testing numerous pieces to determine gold composition and estimating the value of numerous items he inspected. It was very clear that Steve was a true professional who was trying to be helpful by selflessly sharing his vast knowledge and experience with us. Steve was friendly and welcoming. He gave me a great price on a gold coin that was worth between $ 1300 – 1200. He gave me around $ 1100 for it which saved me the hassle of having to do the leg work to sell it. I will definitely be back for any of my appraisal or selling needs. My girlfriend and I recently purchased a storage unit and were hesitant to inquire about the value of a few items in fear that they had absolutely none and that we would be treated as if we were wasting the shop owners time. Simply the best! My wife and I had old jewelry laying around and needed some extra spending money for the holidays. Was nervous about the whole ‘selling gold’ process so did out typical research on Unilocal to find a good place. We honestly feel like we couldn’t have found anyone better. From the second we walked in Steve made us feel as if we were old friends! He explained the process to us and was as up front as could be. After reading the great reviews I was wondering if this business would as good as advertised. I have to tell you that the prior 5 star reviews are spot on. Steve has a clean, great to shop store and will make you feel welcome. Although it was clear that I was a first time gold seller, I didn’t feel like one (as you might in a pawn shop). After we left, my wife asked if we had anymore gold so we could go back. Great job Steve, we appreciate how you do business. Best wishes!
