Crystal View Optometry

Great staff and doctor. I have VSP insurance — not the greatest — so I was having a difficult time finding a good optometry until a family member informed me of this establishment. My previous optometrist did not give me a comprehensive eye exam, yet still charged my insurance for it. Dr. Holcomb gave me a thorough eye exam and made me feel ease at her office. I’m sticking to this optometry.

I am officially coming back for sure and recommending anyone who wants a great n pleasant experience with eye exam and getting glasses. I love how all the staffes are patience and cares are what we, customers wants. I called so many time, impatience with my glasses, but they didnt mind. Thank you

After devoid of visiting an optometrist for 25+ years, it was time.
She put me through every exam possible, and I’m actually kind of excited to be getting glasses again… last time was middle school.

In dire need of prescription lenses for my nearsighted self, I came across Crystal View Optometry through my VSP plan at work. There were quite a few options on the list but i’m glad I decided to go with Crystal View. Located in the Safeway shopping center on Elk Grove Florin or as they tell you over the phone, «next door to H&R Block,» you are immediately greeted by the staff upon entering. Upon check in I was able to browse through their wide selection of designer frames such as Ray Ban, Prada, Nautica and many more. In the short time I was browsing the sales floor, I was immediately called in by Dr. Holcomb who is by the way one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The eye exam was quick and painless, Dr. Holcomb took the extra time to exam further into my retinas, something that I did not experience at Kaiser years back when I got my first pair of glasses. So after the quick eye exam I was brought back to the sales floor where I selected my frames. I went with a pair of Matte finished Dragons. Like my eye exam, the whole process was pretty quick and painless, the staff were able to pull up my vision benefits and set me up right away, I spent less than an hour total at Crystal View. Every staff member I interacted with was super friendly and helpful, Dr. Holcomb is an amazing optometrist! I think I may be the only person in the world excited to get new glasses hahaha, but seriously If you are in need of prescription glasses or sunglasses, Crystal View is the place to go.

I am a first time patient and I was very happy after my visit. The front desk staff are so friendly and very helpful when choosing your frame. I was able to make an appointment on Saturday which is great since I work Monday — Friday! I am very pleased and will return!

Great optometrist. Came in for the first time for an eye exam and to refill up on my contacts. The staff and doctor were very professional compared to other optometrists I’ve been to. Didn’t have a single problem; overall great first-​time experience. Will be back for my future exam appointments! :)

Did all family eye check up and made glasses. Nothing exceptional but will get all your things done without a hassle.

Really friendly staff, Dr. Holcomb is really nice. The assistants are really helpful with helping you choose a frame and walking you through with your vision plans. I recommend coming here :)

Amazingly friendly staff. I usually have a hard time picking out my frame but they made it easy. I love how all my questions were answer or is going to be answer in my next visit. Its my first visit here and I like it so far.
