Just started venturing out with different culture’s food, this place is excellent. The cook said if you come to my house this is what I serve you, try it you’ll like it!

Farrukh was given the responsibility of catering my reception. He and his crew did a wonderful job and made sure my friends and family were well fed large portions of delicious food. I received many compliments on how well the food turned out on the evening of my reception. The catering pricing was very competitive, and the food was made to our taste. Thank you again for the wonderful job! Some of the items we ordered: Fish Pakora, Veggie Samosa, Sikh Kabob, Biryani, Naan, Chicken Achari, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chana Masala, and a few more entrees.

Came here today afternoon for some chicken masala because i was craving some after i watched the movie called the exotic marigold hotel. Anyways i had to stop by and order a chicken masala take out. I asked how much and was ignored. Then i waited about 5 to 10 mins and it was ready. There were no rice or nan or anything with it. When i pulled out the container it was a small soup container. It cost 9.75 i thought it was pricy but i didn’t mind since i was craving really bad. I thought that buffet is way better and cheaper but the quality isn’t just the same unless you go there when it first open to get the best quality. lets get to the chicken masala, it was a hands down best taste and texture. Lets start with the sauce it wasn’t runny or too thick, it was just perfect. The chicken pieces were bite size and they were made out of white chicken meat. The chicken tasted like it was char grilled before it was simmer and soaked inside the masala sauce. The sauce was so flavorful i was savoring each bite. I can totally taste the herbs that are used inside, even lifting up the lid the aroma went everywhere and smelled up the little area i was in. Anyways i had to rave how yummy it was and i had a major foodgasm.

If you’re coming here for ambience then you’ve come to the wrong place but if youre coming here for good food youve come to the right place. The service there was fast they took their time to prepare the food. It was fresh and delish. It was my first time ordering to go for my family from here but i’ve had their food before when my bf sister brought it home one day and i fell in love with their tikka chicken masala. The owner was very friendly and waited for my bf to make up his mind. We looked around their store next door while we waited for our food. When we got home i devoured my plate up since i’ve been craving this for a while. So overall its a great take out place if you have the hankering for some indian dish. I’ll be coming back for more. The portions were huge and we had left overs too. Nan bread delish get the garlic one Rice pelau yummers buttery n very aromatic Chicken tikka masala creamy spicy very good with the rice and garlic nan Beef kabob i didnt care much for even though it was good and spicy w/lots of herbs i prefer lamb Tandoori chicken very flavorful and tender my son devoured it The dolsa was spicy and yummy too goes great with the nan

I just had lunch there with my hubby and kids. I have to say it’s was not worth $ 7.99 per person at all!!! First impression small and not very clean. Tables were dirty from previous customers. Food was ok! Nothing special it didn’t look fresh. we got there close to 2pm. There were more cooks than customers. No one came to help us we stood there waiting to pay because it says on the sign pay before you eat! I got tired of waiting so I went and sat down with my kids. My husband stood there for almost 5mins before the guy finally came to help. There wasn’t much food choices! The food tasted all the same spicy spicy and spicy! My kids couldn’t eat anything because it’s was too spicy for them. All the meat dishes didn’t have much meat on it its just all bones! They have grilled chicken but you have to ask for it, not much taste to it only spicy. They also have seekh kebab I went over to ask for it the cashier/server told me no sorry not today because it’s busy today!!! WTF I thought it’s a buffet!!! Plus it’s not even busy at all. It’s probably tasted bland and spicy. Their naan bread didn’t tasted store bought! Anyway it was our first and last time for sure.

I wanted to initially rate two stars, but I’m adding a star because their interior looks a lot better since they redecorated. I’m not really a fan of this place. I’ve tried it a couple of times and I think I’ll go elsewhere for my indian craving from now on. This place is ideal for take-out because the ambiance isn’t that great and the staff lacks friendliness. Apparently they can’t(or just choose not to) alter the spiciness levels of their food like other establishments do. My chicken tikka masala, which I normally request mild, was way too spicy. Also, I don’t think they serve fresh naan; I think they just heat up naan that comes in the packages from the store in the same building. Not sure though. All I know is, it doesn’t look or taste nearly as good as the naan you get at pretty much any other dine-in indian restaurant. Lastly, the last time I was there, they were out of two things I wanted to order, samosas and mango lassi. Frustrating.

I normally love the food, last night a friend ordered togo food, when we got home I opened my wrap similar to a gyro, practically no sauce, and maybe 2 pieces of onion, and max 5 shreds of lettus same goes for the burgers we ordered. So I ended up remakng the whole burger with my own condiments from home. VERY short on the condiments, and to me I always look forward to them the most. But overall the food and taste of meat was good as usual.

Love their buffet! If you like spicy Pakistani food this is a great spot. Also, East West Foods on the other side of the restaurant has amazing fried chicken and burgers. Try their naan Kabob wrap!

I love their food but the guys in there are so rude… if the owner is there to take the prder he is nice but everyone else is rude. I went in today to place an order and the casher took the two indian guys order behind me first before he took mine. Which for a second I though but racist I was there first and he totally ignore me.

This was my second time eating here, and they did not disappoint! The nan was fresh hot and super delicious! The butter chicken is not to be missed. I even stepped outside my comfort zone and tried the goat curry. With the courteous staff and family feel of the place, I would highly recommend this place

Excellent food! Great service. we tried the Chicken And Beef Seekh Kabob… Bread was made right before my eyes… nice and hot… and everything fresh! Loved it… Will return to try the Chicken Tikka… FYI… don’t expect to go there for the ambience… not in the greatest of areas. But the food and service make the trip worth it.

Lunch buffet was ok. It’s either a hit or a miss depending on the days you go. Only 7 entrees and not much choice to choose from unless you’re getting the individual combination plates. The mixed veggies & Dal was yummy! I would give it a try again. Updated: 10⁄2015 So I have been a regular here, and this place is still the best for their chicken curry. I like how they use whole chicken to make their chicken curry. Tikka masala was delicious. My kids likes to dip the nann with tikka masala sauce. Also, I shop here for their beef, chicken leg quarters, and spices. Come here for all your one stop Indian fixs!

I havent eaten Pakistani food before. This was a great place to try it out. I love the lamb and the rice. Yes I have to agree with the other reviews that the Naan is just super delicious. I didnt’ have to wait too long and the workers were extremely helpful. What a clean place. I will definitely return to try out the other foods. I wanna try the Kabobs.

The food was ok theres about an inch if grease floating on top of the goat and chicken. The red grilled chicken was dry and flavor less the naan was good the inside looked broke down like the man at the register. The flavors were good except for the spinach and potatoes that was disgusting tasted like tooth paste

After a long day of hiking, I was really craving something that was filling but nothing too greasy. I thought of Indian food and remembered my girlfriend Jenny W. raved about this spot, East West Junction so I decided to try it out for myself! I checked on Unilocal and it says they close at 7, which was in 15 minutes but I went anyway and it turns out, they close at 8! We wanted to order the combination #10, which came with lamb kabobs but they were all out of lamb for the day =(Must mean it’s real noms! Instead, we ordered the combination #3, which came with chicken and goat curry. Since I really wanted kabobs, we also ordered two extra seekh kabobs, which is either ground chicken or beef so we opted for ground beef. Both their chicken and goat curries were delicious! Lots of distinct flavor and tender, moist meat. Went perfect with the rice and salad. The seekh kabobs had a lot of texture and color from the seasonings but wasn’t as delicious as the curry. Can’t wait to come back and try their lamb kabobs. I tucked the meat between a piece of naan with some salad and ate it like a mini pita dipped in their delicious tamarind and chutney. If I had to choose, I’d prefer their chutney but both were very tasty! A combo meal, two extra kabobs that came with a salad, naan and a drink took us back about $ 18. Awesomeeee! I also used their bathroom in the grocery mart next door and was impressed with the variety items they offer. Thanks for the recommendation, my love, I’m a fan!

I was in town visiting and wanted to try something new, so as always, I looked to Unilocal for some advice. Ratings were high and I personally really like hole-in-the-wall type places so I was really excited for this one. Walking in, you see two sides: one for the restaurant and the other, the store. I am not well acquainted with Indian/Pakistani food yet so I didn’t really know what to order, but everything on the menu looked really delicious so I didn’t feel too intimidated. I got the #8 combo, which included chicken tikka kabob, chicken seekh kabob, basmati rice, salad, dal & naan. + Naan: I just love naan. Especially when it comes with dal to dip with. YUM! There were mixed reviews about the freshness of the naan here, but I personally loved it. Came out warm and fluffy. mMMMmmm + Chicken Tikka: Seasoning was spot on and delicious. My only complaint is that it was pretty dry and I had to dip it in sauce to make it more palatable. + Chicken Seekh: Texture is very similar to a fish cake/ball and I really liked how flavorful it was. Wish it was warmer when it came out tho. + Basmati rice: O.M.G. best basmati rice I’ve ever had so far! They added all these herbs and spices which really elevated the scent and flavor of the whole dish. Wish I could get my hands on the recipe for that rice because it’s was so amazingly good! + Salad: salad is salad and you can’t really make salad bad unless it’s wilted, unwashed or has a creepy crawly inside. Highlight here is that they have all these dressings to choose from. I got a little bit of each to try and my favorite was the yellow one. No idea what its called but it has a curry flavor to it. Also, its more on the watery side… good with the Naan too! Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the staff was really helpful and friendly. Will be back when I get the chance to try some more of their other offerings like goat curry or chicken tikka masala.

I don’t give out 5 star reviews very often,(actually, I’m pretty stingy with them), but once in a while, even if it’s not a defining 5-star restaurant, you run into an amazing, tiny little gems like this place that just blow you away and leave your mouth watering. Even now, I can still taste my last meal here and would probably pay double to have it again for dinner tonight. I can’t count the number of times I have been here, the number of times I have referred friends here, or the number of atherosclerotic plaques that are now eating away at my arteries after consuming my own body weight in the GLORIOUS tasting meat here, but I do know one thing for sure– God bless the people who run this joint because I have never had better Pakistani food anywhere else.(My mom’s kitchen is the sole exception, but hey, she ain’t on Unilocal!) It’s a shack type of joint, but do not judge this place until you have finished every last bite of your meal. The service here is also phenomenal. You’re like what, did he say phenomenal??? How can service be PHENOMENAL??? Let me tell you. First off– customer is always right. I can’t emphasize that enough. That practice has just become an ancient saying now, but there are still a few isolated places that know how to do business properly! I love the guys that work here, they make me feel like family, always hook me up with great food, great prices, extra naans, and one time they even had Muhammad Ali chilling there. WHAT. Yeah! No joke! It sounds ridiculous right? It’s NOT, the greatest of all time KNOWS where to get good Pakistani food! In all honesty though, it was an actual event and not him just swinging by, but when was the last time Muhammad Ali held an event at your local Pakistani joint? So there you have it. Great food, great service, and endorsed by the best boxer to ever live. What more do you need? You’re right, it’s missing something… AHEMAHEM, What you’ve been waiting for! I personally give this place my *OFFICIAL Brown Man Seal of the East* as one of the best Pakisitani restaurants in all of California. If you don’t agree, then I’ll come pay for your meal, and prob also slap you across the face. Hey, you started it.
