Pat DJ’d our wedding last weekend in Tahoe and he did a stand up job. He played the most perfect variety of oldies and worked up through the generations towards the end of the night. He has an energetic personality and sets you at ease the day of. We can’t say enough good things about Pat and would book him again in a heartbeat. He also has beautiful uplighting that we used for the fireplaces. He’s the man!!!

Where do I even begin? Pat was absolutely amazing! Our wedding would not have gone as smooth without Pat there. He isn’t just a DJ but he is a master of running an entire wedding! The music played was perfect and Pat was so very patient with myself and my wife as we tried to convey what exactly we wanted played. We weren’t the only ones that noticed either! We received countless compliments on Pat’s music choices as well as his professionalism but overall genuine and sincere love for his career. If you are looking for a DJ and want a super fun, light hearted but professional person for the job, go with Pat. You will not be disappointed. I promise.

My husband and I got married at the Newcastle Wedding Gardens in October 2014. At this venue, you can only choose from three DJs, with HUG Entertainment being one of them. We met the other two DJ’s, but Pat was easily the most personable. I was actually impressed by his music knowledge and he’s just a really nice person. My husband remarked that Pat was his rock before the ceremony and his experience was very calming and helpful for him. He was energetic and upbeat but not annoyingly so. The reception went so smoothly, and I have no regrets about hiring Pat. Highly recommended!

DJ Pat is as good as it gets! We hired him for our wedding at Newcastle Wedding Gardens on 5÷31÷14, I loved his high energy and sense of humor. He really knows how to read a crowd! In the months leading up to the wedding, he offered so much advice on song picks for the ceremony and reception. The ceremony music was absolutely perfect! The reception was a blast and he kept us all dancing the whole way through. I had a vision of mixing old and new music at the reception in order to cater to the different age groups, and Pat pulled it off! We danced the night away! Thank you Pat!

My husband and I got married a year ago on May 26, 2012 at New Castle Wedding Gardens and HUG Entertainment provided services for our reception. Pat Huggin was my DJ and he was one of the most coolest and fun DJ’s I have experienced. Pat was able to provide me with all the songs that I requested and then some. I was also honored that he liked my Pre-​Ceremony music so much that he actually used it for several other weddings for couples and other familes to enjoy. My daughter will always have a memory of Pat singing along to the song Motto and putting up his 2 fingers up in the air when they say Little Wayne’s nick name «Tunechi». Thank you Pat for making my special day fun and exciting.

Pat was a wonderful DJ he took all our music into consideration and never tried to sway us away from any songs. He was really flexible with meeting my husband and I because we did not live close by. He always responded quickly to a demanding bride! Pat was wonderful on the day of the wedding he even brought drinks to the grooms men and asked everyone how they were doing prior to the ceremony offering his help when he could! He was a wonderful DJ and never wanted to put on a show. He made the wedding about my husband and I and that was the best part! I would recommend Pat to anyone because his willingness to work with anything we threw at him, his experience and his genuine care for each individual he worked with. Thank you Pat!

Pat was the DJ for our 150 person wedding and I was so impressed by him! He had such a calm, positive attitude. When we ran behind on our timeline, he calmly made suggestions to get us back on track, which we readily accepted. He is definitely not pushy, but clearly has a lot of experience and shares his knowledge. The song choices were great and he took as many suggestions as I wanted to make, which was awesome. He just kept everything running smoothly all night and kept the party going. I was so grateful to have him in charge on the big day! I highly recommend him and his company.

We recently got married in Sonoma and had Pat DJ our wedding. He was absolutely amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. We are very picky about music and Pat was so accommodating with us — giving us a list of popular music which we could edit and he also allowed us to suggest songs that we liked. From there, he picked the perfect music for our entire day, from the pre-​ceremony to the cocktail hour to the dinner and DANCING. Pat kept everyone on the dance floor — no one wanted to stop. Pat also kept the day going by announcing each event as they happened next but was not intrusive at all.
Pat was also wonderful to work with in the planning process. Always quick to respond, friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend Pat to anyone! Thank you Pat!

I just got married on Aug 17th and we had HUG entertainment for our wedding. Pat was so AWESOME. He was professional, organized and made sure we had exactly what we wanted. He has such a sweet personality too, everyone loved him and he really got into our party. He controlled the background music while people were being seated, the music we walked down the aisle to, and the music for the reception. Not one glitch or mistake or wrong song.
