JH Auto Window Tinting

I just sent them a request for a quote. Even though they don’t perform the service I need, I received a reply from my quote request almost instantly where some other companies take days. If this is any indicator of their level of service, I’ll be sure to use them in the future should the need arise.

I came in here knowing very little about window tinting. The receptionist was extremely helpful and warming. She informed me of what Cali law will allow and told me all about the different options they have. They will also tint your front windows darker but, as any good business will do, will remind you that it is not street legal.
Price was just over $ 400 for front and back windows as well as the rear windshield. I did the clear 3M tint in the front and went with 35% 3M all around the back. The tint looks great!
They also also do vehicle protection packages for your paint as well as your headlights. I plan on coming back to get my headlights protected to prevent oxidation in the future.
They also offer complimentary snacks, water, tea, and a small dvd collection to help you pass the time if you plan on waiting here.
Sometimes Unilocal reviews aren’t always accurate but you can definitely trust the ones written about JH! Do yourself a favor and get your tints done here. Great customer service and great tinting!
Edit: The driver side window was mistakenly rolled down the next day causing the tint to bubble at the bottom (hey i was hangry and craved a double whopper, don’t judge me!). I called them and told them what had happened and they told me to come in so they could take a look. When I got there, they smoothed it out and wouldn’t take payment for helping me out (don’t worry, I managed to slip them a tip). This is truly an honest, customer-​friendly business!

In and out within an hour and great customer service! The lady at the counter was extremely knowledgable and super friendly. It has been exactly a week today and I rolled my windows down for the first time, no problems :) My sister plans on driving down from Chico to have her car done!

Great service, this place is definitely worthy of its 5 star rating. Made my appointment and was given a quote over the phone. Showed up today, the price was the same as quoted. They took time and explained my different choices in tint and the benefits. I chose to wait for the car, it took 3 hours, I had the front and rear done, but the waiting area had a TV and movies, and wi-​fi. When it was all done they took the time to explain the warranty, care, and advised if there were any problems observed, to bring it back. I will definitely recommend this place and will come back in the future for other cars.

I drove over 50 miles to get my tinting done here because of the raving reviews. It was totally worth it! Professional, easy to work with and super quick. I was in and out in a couple hours. My Focus ST looks great with the 3M materials they used. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone that needs a window tint.

Super fast considering I only had one window on my Prius and great price! Waiting area is really clean and they were extremely nice and the window looks perfect! Found them through Unilocal and the reviews were right on point!

I got the front windows tinted on my car at 90% visibility, for the UV protection factor. They looked good after application, no bubbles or anything, though it’s only been a few months so I can’t comment on the long-​term durability. They were professional, friendly, did the work on the scheduled time frame (about 2 hours hours), and having free wifi for me to use while waiting was a nice perk — since they are not located near anything interesting to do while you wait (an industrial area). I believe the cost was around $ 160 for the two windows with the top-​quality 3M crystalline film, though the cost varies based on your vehicle. I would recommend this to a friend who is looking for window tinting.

Long overdue review… my brother paid for my tinting and I have to admit that I’m impressed. The job was done quickly but meticulously. There was an issue with a front window that had a huge wrinkle. But as soon as I brought it back two weeks later, the master craftsman and founder Jacky saw it and fixed it quickly. Wish he had been available to do the job the first time but I definitely appreciate the great customer service and attention to detail from all the staff.

Went to this place for a tint job. They do exellent work although the price was high, it better to get it done right the first time. I say go with the 3m and you’ll be happy that you went with that. The receptionist was very informative and helped me choose what I needed for my specific job. The time wait wasn’t even long if you bring something with you to keep you company. Overall, my experience here was good and my car is cooler than its ever been. Heck, i even feel my car blowing cold ac now so im super pumped about that. I will be back to get my 2^nd tint done for my other vehicles.

We had two cars that needed to be tinted at the same time so after a lot of research we decided to come here. We were given a great deal for two cars, they even accommodated us when we wanted to drop our cars off early. They were VERY knowledgable as far as what tint looks good on the cars. They were on schedule even on a Sunday they made sure we were in and out in the time quoted. The tint on my Acura looks GREAT and the Charger as well. There was small bubble on our Charger but my boyfriend took it up to the shop and they fixed it without a problem. Would I recommend them to friends and family? YES! We are both very picky about out cars and they did an awesome JOB! We are so glad that we brought the our cars here!!! Thanks!

From seeing all the great Unilocal reviews I chose this shop and am glad I did. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly upon walking in and was very helpful when showing me the different tints and even did a wall around my car when it was done and told me to not hesitate to call with any questions. The tint was a phenomenal job! My last car I had I was suckered into a $ 100 tint job and the tint was nothing like this. Good quality job, friendly service, and clean shop. My Subaru looks better inside and out. Will come back here for my other car or future cars tint jobs.

Finally decided to go and get my two front driver and passenger windows tinted on my 2014 accord sport.
Went in there hoping to get 35%, but Due to the fact that my car is black on black 35% would make it a lot darker and more noticeable to get cited. After a lot of contemplating and discussing options w the very friendly and helpful front desk girls I decided to go w the 70% crystallin 3M film that blocks out 50% of the suns heat.
Its not as dark as I would like it to be but at least my chances of getting cited are slim.
It looks very nice on the outside they did a great job.

I recommend you calling them to make an appointment first or else you have to wait until all the appointments are done first.

I wish I could come up with this amazing witty unique review but when a company with a 5 star rating and 118 reviews, it’s hard to find something unique to say that hasn’t already been said. Top quality, professional and superior service. This place is the best place to bring your car. I had all my windows tinted in my car including the front windshield. I have a black car with leather interior and in these Sacramento summers you bake. It would get so hot that having the air condition on full blast, the air would be warm. It was that bad.
I finally made the decision to get my car windows tinted. We walked in for a 9am appointment on a rainy Thursday morning and were greeted by a younger gentleman whom I believe in the one who installed the tint. He walked us through the tints and was extremely helpful with his advice. The front office girl who I think may be a family member also helped us. Both were very helpful. I wish I got their names! We decided to get 3M Color Stable tint for the back windows (20% on the back and 35% front windows) and we then got 80% Sun tech Carbon Series for the front windshield. Not only does window tint help with the terrible Sacramento heat but it also blocks out 99% of harmful UV Rays that cause skin cancer. We were also told that tinting your front windshield with the tint we chose gets you 43% heat reduction. It’s so worth it! The total cost was $ 495 (price depends on tint brand and car so call for a price quote). I am happy to pay for top quality work and I feel like this was a great deal. I will post pictures soon. JH earns every single star they have in the best way.
I was directed here by my body shop to get tinting faster and man, was I impressed. I called first and they told me to come over right then, which was 100% best case scenario for me because I was already on that side of town.
I get there, talk about what I need done, hand over my keys and am welcomed to a beautifully clean waiting area with supremely comfortable couches. The girl at the desk said that if I was cold, I could use the space heater. If I wanted to watch TV, I could turn it on, and if I wanted any snacks (?!) that I was welcome to them.
I passed on the TV and happily munched on Doritos while I read my book and listened to music snuggled into this perfectly comfortable leather couch, waiting for my car to reappear. After about 25 minutes, it was done and it looked fantastic. I was only getting one window re-​tinted and they matched it to the current tinting very well.
I recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Before deciding where to tint my brand new 2015 Subaru WRX, I called around to price shop. I called Precision Tint, Tint 2K, Rocky Mountain Window Tint, and of course JH Auto Window Tinting. While JH wasn’t the cheapest, I feel that you get what you pay for and quite frankly I didn’t want to take any chances on my car. Rocky Mountain was $ 60 cheaper, but the guy on so phone seemed unprofessional and Tint 2K was too busy to call me back. On the other hand JH’s customer service was professional, knowledgable, and appeared to be trustworthy.
I walked in on a Saturday right at 9am hoping to get my car tinted that same day, however, they were fully booked for the day. The young lady at the front desk said she may be able to squeeze me in for same day service, but preferred I make an appointment for the following day. She admitted she wanted to ensure quality standards don’t diminish after a long day of tinting, which resonated well with me.
I didn’t have a ride back home while my car was being serviced so I couldn’t just leave. Fortunately, they did have a comfortable couch, TV, free wifi, and can even pull out a small table to your laptop that can help make the wait time a breeze.
Overall, the quality exceeded my expectations and the price is reasonable given their level of service. Jacky was the man who hooked my car up. He did a fantastic job on my vehicle. The whole process took about 3 hours, but it was well worth the wait as I couldn’t stop grinning ear to ear when they pulled my car out.

Phenomenal business. Not only do they care about the service they provided, but they really care about their customers. My husband and I came in for our truck to get tinted. The front desk lady was so informative and very thorough with the introduction. She knew the science behind the color of the tint which was pretty impressive! Everyone over here was so kind, nurturing, and just plain give a shit. I really value their integrity and LOVE our new tint job.
