The food here is ridiculously delicious. I usually avoid carbs at all cost, but I cannot resist their rice. It is so soft and goes so well with the white sauce. All the meats are so well seasoned, and the place looks really clean inside. I’ve never seen a food truck with such high sanitary standards. Makes me happy to know they care about food safety!

I am really glad I tried this truck today! Simple, straight forward menu of items and I decided to go with the lamb gyrp and the fries on the side. I also asked to have the gyro made spicy(extra sriracha). The gyro was AWESOME! Tons of flavorful meat topped in cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, sriracha and a tzatziki-type sauce, all on a soft warm pita. Messy, spicy deliciousness. And it was enormous — honeslty could have done with just the gyro. And next time I will. French fries were pretty unimpressive. Unsalted fries. Cooked well, but just kind of bland. I will definetely stop by the next time they come to my work!

We are Track 7 regulars and have sampled pretty much every food truck. King Kabob is absolutely one of our favorites. Great family owned business and great food. Both the gyro and the chicken rice dish with Sriracha sauce is really, really good.

The truck arrived at Jackrabbit Brewery about 15 minutes before I ordered. There was one person ahead of me and I saw two other people receive food. I went to order, and said I’ll have the beef over rice. They said«We’re out of Beef». Ok, how about the chicken over rice? «We’re out of Chicken». they said. Ok well, I’m hungry and really wanted to try this food since I had seen positive reviews. So I ordered the lamb gyro, since it was the only food item they had. It was pretty good, not as good as most that I’ve had, and not at all what I wanted to order, so overall I was disappointed. Maybe sometime I’ll give them another chance. But as far as first impressions go, they left a terrible one.

It was parked at 12 Rounds brewery in east sac, and the food was delicious and the people were friendly and reasonable prices. What else can you ask for ??? Mike Turner even likes the truck, and he’s very hard to please when it comes to food, but not beer. Will go again !

My first Unilocal review and I’m glad it’s for King Kabob. I’ve had lamb gyro twice from them, once in pita bread and the other time over rice(me being Indian, I’m very particular about rice) and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their rice. It was cooked to just the right degree which made an excellent amalgamation with their equally tender lamb. Their menu is pretty brief and simple, which is good as it defines their business model and helps customers make quick decision :). Will wait for their next visit near my office.
