I needed a key for a 1981 BMW and called several places, all of which said they could not do it and referred me to the dealer. One of which referred me to Leo at Lock N Switch. So glad he did because Leo was able to do the job and in less than 30 minutes for $ 100!!! Thank you!!!

Leo service was exceptional! I recommended him for all your key services. I lost my keys and looked for them every where but no luck. Called other locksmith and came across Leo, his was the best price compare to others. He even came to where my car was. He was honest about what he was going to charge me. He quoted me $ 130 but found out he didn’t need to make another key instead he reprogrammed my old master key to work and charged $ 100. So now my old master key works and the key I lost wont work anymore if it were to be found. Leo knows what he was doing he even arrived earlier then what he said and was in and out within 10 minutes. Locked my keys in the car, called Lock N Switch, Leo was there within 20 minutes, he unlocked the car and made an extra key on the spot. Service is fast, professional, and reliable.

Best locksmith ever. Cut my Homda’s new key. Fair price. It would cost me 400 dollars if i did that at a dealer.

Had the dealer make another key for me based on the VIN of my Yukon, found out the previous owner had rekeyed my vehicle. Thinking I had to replace all the locks in my vehicle, I searched on Unilocal and found Lock and Switch and gave him a call. Before I could finish my beer feeling defeated thinking it will cost me a lot to fix my lapse in memory, Leo arrives and within 20 minutes he has «felt» the lock, comes up with the proper code and wrote it down for me, and cuts me two new keys that work in all the locks. Great guy to talk to and will be earning my business again if I ever need him.

This place has great customer service and saved me a lot of money. I had a new car that need keyless remotes and I was able to get two of them for half of what dealer wanted for one. I had a problem with one of them 6 months later and they discounted a new one for me, even though they only have a 30 day warranty. All said and done I still saved money and would highly recommend this place!

I found this place through a Unilocal review when I was looking for locksmith and another reviewer thanked a locksmith in Midtown for referring him to this place to cut a transponder key. My friend who sells car parts also recommends this place. The service was good and much less expensive than what I was going to pay at the dealership. I’d go back here again if I ever needed more transponder keys.

This is a GREAT company– a lifesaver! I had my other car broken into and the only key I have for my lexus was stolen. I called the Lexus dealership and was quoted a ridiculous price and was told that it would be «impossible» to start my car without replacing the engine computer ($ 1000 for the part.) They also wanted me to have my car towed into the dealership. I called a few other locksmiths to see if they would be able to rekey my car– a few said they couldn’t do it because the car was high security, a few said they could but Leo quoted me the best price. He came to my house the next morning and I now have 2 keys that start my vehicle, at the best price I found from calling several locksmiths. It took him about 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this company!

So i lost my only ignition key for my acura rl 96. My spare key can open doors but doesn’t have the immobilizer chip that allows the engine to start up. So i call around: 3 places don’t answer the phone. 2 won’t give me a quote until after i get my car towed to their shop. 2 quotes for about 4 hundred dollars. and my search ends with Lock & Switch.
Leo is great. He answers the phone and given the make and model, offers to do it for $ 200 flat or $ 220 for 2. By far the cheapest offer yet. It gets better. He offers to come out immediately to where my car is so no need for towing.
He shows up promptly, and with his mobile workshop quickly gets things taken care of. Plugs into my car, programs two keys, and cuts the keys. Done in 30min, $ 220 even as he quoted me. What a deal!
The situation was far less stressful than I was expecting. Thanks to Leo who was very nice and professional. Please try these guys as a first option, believe me, the prices only seem too good to be true

I lost my master key when my purse was stolen. I had to leave my car stranded at a mall because I found out that they spare key I owned didn’t have the immobilizer chip needed to start my car’s engine. I was quoted $ 200-​$ 700 at various other places to get a key with a chip replaced. I finally called Lock N Switch and only had to pay $ 120! Also, he was able to meet me at my car so I didn’t have to have it towed anywhere. Not only was he convenient, he was also very friendly and helpful as well. I will definitely be coming back and recommending him for all auto key needs.
Just note that he only takes cash. He also mentioned that sometimes he feels like people don’t want to use him because he has an accent. DON’T LET THAT BE THE REASON YOU MISS OUT ON A GOOD BUSINESS DEAL!

This is a place to go if you need a replacement on your car keys or if you have a jammed lock. I Unilocaled auto locksmith and to my surprise this popped up. At first, I was a little sketched out because it was a small little shack. Leo the guy who helped me out was a sweetheart. He fixed my jammed Lock in no time! Leo is well experienced he’s been fixing locks for about 9 years. This place only takes cash so be prepared. I would recommend this place to my friends/​family.

I lost my only car key in Lake Tahoe while running. I had to have AAA tow my car to Auburn Honda to have the key made. Auburn Honda quote me almost $ 600 to have the key made. Long story short, my friend recommended Leo, owner of Lock N Switch. I called Leo and explained my situation and he said I can have my car towed to his business and he will have the key made for me. Well, I got the same exact replacement key that I lost for the total of $ 200. His service was very efficient. I am very pleased and definitely recommend him to everyone.

I called Lock N Switch after my husband had been trying to get a locksmith out to fit an ignition key that was lost in a move for his 1960 Tbird. He had called multiple people, yet I turned to Unilocal,and the first one I call says they will be here in 45 minutes or less. He was there in 20 minutes, if that. The key was done in lightning speed. Quoted $ 65 on the phone and charged $ 60, even better. Awesome.
