Leana is an amazing stylist! She gave a BB and spilt end treatment. My hair came out healthy with no frizz and incredible shine. Not to mention zero split ends! Her salon space is stylish, trendy, and welcoming. I’ve recommended her to all my friends. 5 stars!

Leanna is awesome! i went here after a horrible experience at another salon left my hair completely damaged and fried and she made my hair beautiful again! the brazilian blowout she did was amazing and she was quick! and super fun to talk to and book thru — i’ll be going back!

Leanna is fantastic! I got a Brazilian Blowout from Groupon and needed a last minute appointment. It was so kind of her to come in on Fourth of July and do my hair for me! She even wrote me a very sweet thank you card for trying out her services. Overall she did a wonderful job, she’s clearly such a hard worker, she’s warm and welcoming, and I’d definitely go back to her.

Leanna is awesome. She was ON TIME (a big thing for me), personable without prying (she let me dictate how much/​little I wanted to chat) and professional. And the best part is my hair was gorgeous when she was done!
I really liked that she had her own little space too, complete with your own TV that she generously lets you control.
Go to her, you won’t be dissappointed.

Leanna of Modern Edge Salon is AMAZING! I really wish I had before and after pictures to post of what this lady did for me last week.
She gave me a Brazilian blowout early February. I was washing my hair every other Saturday or so and my hair slowly started going back to natural state. Roughly 6 washes later my hair did not look like hair anymore but like straw and felt like a Brillo pad. I texted her on Saturday morning, she offered to see me that same day. I couldn’t go in so I went in on Sunday. I asked her for another blowout but after inspecting my hair for about 90 seconds she told me we’d try a simple shampoo and blow dry. After she blow dried my hair I could’ve seriously walked out feeling beautiful. And after the flat iron, OMG! My hair looked like I had just gotten a relaxer! I could not thank her enough!
I can’t vouch for all her services but, if you need a Brazilian blowout and you need maintenance on it then LEANNA is your girl.
Icing on the cake is how fast this woman works!

Leanna is fantastic. I love my Brazilian Blowout and she trimmed my hair perfectly! Leanna is also pleasant to chat with and has decorated her space adorably. I loved the personal touch of receiving a handwritten note from her after my service.

A couple weeks ago I went here to have a Brazilian blowout done and dye my hair blonde. I called (it was her cell phone number, very unprofessional and it kept hanging up which made things very uncomfortable) ahead to see if they would be able to do it all in one day, and she said yes. When I got there it was very well decorated and seemed like a reliable place. I meet her and she says she’s not sure she will be able to do it all in one day? Which made me very annoyed, when she said on the phone she could. That made me feel like she was just trying to get me in. Eventually after asking her manager (being a hair stylist she should know wether or not she could on her own) she finds out she can, which I was happy for. So I show her the blonde I want, being a brown I knew she’d have to bleach it. Again, she takes me to her manager, who doesn’t have any hair herself I might add and she gives me a lecture on how my hair is too dark to go blonde? While doing this lecture she is being very very rude and it completely catches me off guard. My sister who had black hair went blonde which I mentioned to her and she then acts like I’m stupid and don’t know what I’m talking about. Then she lectures me on blonde hair and how it is hard to keep up. First of all, I came to get my hair blonde. Give my blonde hair that’s all I wanted, I didn’t ask for attitude and a lecture. So during the process she keeps taking me to her manager, literally making me walk to the next room. It was pathetic on her part. Was she even a stylist. First she bleached it. At first it was yellow-​orange and it wasn’t even all blonde. I kept warning her and she kept reassuring she wasn’t done yet. Then, she adds toner which made everything she bleached turn just a light orange. And the top was bleached and no toner was added. I told her this so she went to add more toner. It became a light brown. I was very very unhappy. It was more of a light brown ombré than a blonde. On top of that she said it would take 3 hours. I was there for about 6. In the end I paid $ 200. I was so unhappy I cried in the bathroom, she said she’d get the orange out if I come back in a week? So I call her and set up a date. And later that week she cancels. Eventually I gave up on her and went with a family friend who easily gave me what I wanted and even told me this lady did the whole thing wrong. I spent two weeks, including my birthday, with orange, brown and bleach parts in my hair. She had no idea what she was doing at all. She kept bringing me to her manager and asking what to do next. While her manager would just say «I don’t know it’s her hair ask her». I asked for blonde. I will never be returning here. Horrible horrible service. The manager was very rude. The stylist didn’t even know what she was doing. They also didn’t tell me that with a brazilian blowout I’m supposed to buy specific shampoo. Which made mine barely last. I am happy with my hair now, but my trip here was very very pointless. It just damaged my hair. My advice would be to not go here. EVER. I’m sure the stylist was a nice lady, but she needs to get educated on hair, and her manager needs to both get educated and respectful to customers. I still cannot believe how she was talking to me. It was my first time dying my hair and now I’m scarred. If I could give it negative stars I would. I will never, ever be returning here. Worst experience in all aspects. If anyone would like the number of the woman who fixed my hair feel free to ask!

Leanna is amazing! I had a brazilian blowout done and I am soooo happy with the results, I wish I would’ve done it a long time ago. She is so fun and welcoming to be around. In fact, I went back a week later to have her trim up my tresses for an overall fresh new look. She really knows what she is doing and is very knowledgeable about hair products as well. From now on I will be going to Leanna for all of my hair needs :)

I recently had a sew-​in done Leanna. I showed her a pic of what I was looking for and she cut to perfectly fit my face. Not only did my hubby LOVE it but I received so many compliments. I would HIGHLY recommend Modern Edge Hair Salon.
