First time trying out Indian food. The #1 on the menu«burrito» was very good and spicy!

My food was ready by the time I finished ordering. The chicken rice bowl was delicious! Rice and chicken were very moist, the cucumbers with sauce gave a cooling touch. The flavors weren’t as strong as traditional Indian food, it was light, warm and refreshing. I chose«spicy» which I guess it meant to add fresh chopped up jalapeños on top.

They were out of a lot things when I got since it was toward the end of the lunch service at whiterock and prospect so I didn’t get what i wanted. I did however order the tandoori burrito which was absolutely delicious. I think it’s a cucumber salsa with tomatoes, cilantro, cucumber and some other sauce. It tastes fresh and not greasy at all. I asked for a little bit of spice more than normal and it was perfect!!! I wonder if they will make some indian mexican fusion nachos??? yesl please!!!

Something was wrong with the chicken in my taco.

Food is always fresh and tastes wonderful. You can order your food mild or spicy. The Bombay sticks are samosas in a egg roll wrapper, in which I think is lighter then regular samosa wrapper. The karma burrito chicken rice bowl is soooooo tasty. If they had a restaurant, I’d be there almost every day.

One of the best food trucks ever. They regularly visit the Rancho Cordova tower park on Friday concert days. Have tried their food on 2 – 3 occasions. The owner is a very friendly guy. Love the lambwich(It is a compliment coming from a person who don’t like lamb as much). Really enjoyed the masala chicken tacos and the tandoori chicken sliders as well.

This truck is bomb! I work right by CalPers so I’ve eaten at just about every truck in the Sacramento area and I’ll have to say, this is one of my favorites. The Butter Chicken and the Chicken Marsala burrito’s are both super good. They use basmati rice with cucumbers which give it a really nice crunch and texture. The people working were really nice and helpful as well. Great food, nice people, what more could you ask for?

Ok, just finished my little slice of amazing. Where to begin? This is my second interaction with this food truck — the first time was when they were at the North Natomas Community Park for our Concert in the Park. Today I sampled the masala chicken rice bowl(they also have a butter chicken rice bowl, too). The flavor was perfection to a fault; love that they add a type of tzatziki sauce on top of everything. It adds such a nice touch to a traditional Indian dish. Along w/the chicken there were jalapeños & tomatoes in the tzatziki sauce(yum!) This particular taco truck is an Indian/latin infusion. Aside from the rice bowls they also have burritos and tacos(both equally tasty!) after everything was said and done, I walked away spending 6 bucks for the bowl and a can of diet Pepsi. I highly recommend this joint. Follow them on twitter/Facebook as they only come to the 5th and R location once a month! So get out there and try… and don’t you take any wooden nickels from anybody! =D

I love a place that is kind to people with food allergies. When I asked the lady in the window if she could help me order something without wheat or dairy in it, she not only graciously did so, she even gave me options! I happily walked away with a bowl of rice heaped with generous chunks of well spiced lamb, an Indian pico de gallo of tomatoes, cucumber and cliantro and a couple of slices of jalapeño on top. This all happened in about 3 minutes. Lunch on the go done right!

The chicken masala taco was really good. It’s with ground chicken though, FYI. Don’t order the burrito, it’s all rice

My food truck prayers have been answered! A Sacramento food truck that’s not simply more sandwiches. I’ve wanted a slightly different food truck for quite some time, and I was happy to see that OM Karmabile was in business. Nothing against the sandwiches(I enjoy those quite a bit!) but I just wanted more variety. And this is your place! I tried both their Tandoori slider, and the chicken Masala. Both had flavors that popped, especially the Tandoori chicken. It may be among the best chicken of that type that I’ve ever had! The Masala burrito was very good too! it was a little heavy on the rice, but it was forgiveable. Good heat, but not overwhelming and the veggies added a nice little crunch for texture. Also, the meat wasn’t fatty/gristly at all. That’s a HUGE pet peeve of mine, so I’m glad they avoided that. I would have appreciated a bit more of a «saucy» feel, but again, forgiveable. Oh, and the pricing? Super reasonable. The slider was a pretty big sandwich. Almost a full-sized deal. And it was only $ 3. Pretty nice! It’s definitely worth a try! If I see them around again, I won’t hesitate.

Y’all know me… I gots to try a food truck when I sees one pull into CalPERS. So, even though I’m not a big fan of Indian food, I gave it a try. So glad I did! I tried the chicken marsala taco, only $ 3, filled with curried chicken. I’m not a curry fan, but this was quite good! And I figured, for only $ 3, it was worth a try :) I also tried the OM Slider, which was filled with tandoori chicken. It was very tasty. If y’all like Indian food, this is the food truck for you. Oh, and the staff was very nice :)

Their lamb tacos are really good, the sauce(yogurt sauce? can’t remember) pairs well with the braised lamb. The only gripe I have is at $ 4 a taco, it’s a tad bit expensive. Their curry burritos sound good though, so I might try that next time, whenever that may be.

Very good Indian-leaning fusion. Owner is a really nice guy — friendly, does special requests, good cook. I really liked the lamb — very tender, flavorful, good quality meat. Chicken tikka masala was excellent & authentic too. Maybe not the presentation — definitely not something you’d find in India — but it sure was delicious. I’m a fan, and hope to see them at more SactoMoFo events!

My office also has a different truck outside every day and today is was OM Karmabile. This was my first time and after reading the reviews and I was excited. I got the #7 spicy curry burrito. It was really good although not spicy in my opinion. I did get two cups of the OM house sauce and that made it perfect. The burrito has chicken, rice, potatoes, carrots, peas and some fresh cucumber and tomato diced in it. It’s the perfect combination of comfort and crunchy. My only critique would be that my burrito had a little too much rice compared to chicken, but the rice is great so it didn’t matter to me. I saw people with the tacos and they looked so good I’m going to try them next time. I also think that for those that aren’t super familiar with Indian cuisine or are«scared» of curry this is a great place to start. The curry was so delicious and not super strong or overpowering. I would definitely recommend this truck.

I’ve been here twice now and i am definitely impressed. I think Indian food in burrito form is a great idea, and its about time Sacramento got an Indian fusion truck. I’ve tried their Karma Burrito and Spicy Chicken Curry taco, both excellent, Their burritos use basmati rice, which really make a difference, and with the chicken curry burrito the peas are really fresh tasting. Like garden peas. More recently i had their OM chicken rice bowl, and was impressed with that as well, there was hot chicken and sauce on one side, and a cool cucumber tomato salsa(chutney?) on the other side so it was a nice contrast of hot chicken in a rich sauce and cool crunchy tangy salsa. It really works. I’ve definitely found a place for them as one of my go to trucks. I’ve brought several coworkers and they have all enjoyed their food as well. The guys working the truck are friendly, and all their tips go to a different charity each week.

Indian inspired food from really nice people. I tried one of each taco. It’s a smaller commitment than going for a burrito, torta, or rice bowl. It had fresh produce, it was a good size, and messy because there was so much on it. The lamb was my favorite. I think I’m now partial to having anything lamb off their truck. They had Sriracha and their very own Om House Sauce available for grabs. I tried the Om House Sauce and I’m gonna have to try it again because Nick said it was a little spicy and when I tried it, I didn’t think it was spicy at all. Maybe the flavor got lost amongst the taco but. I’ll have to try it again. .Alls I know is I’m going for something with lamb in it.

My company has a new food truck parked behind their building everyday so when I saw on our calendar that a new Indian food truck was going to be there, I jumped at the opportunity to try out a new food truck! Had their chicken marsala taco for $ 3 and it was pretty good! Small but for $ 3 it was a deal! It made me full but I’m a petite female so that could be the reason why. Great deal considering the other food trucks are about $ 8 – 9 for a dish. Great food, and the service was fast! Can’t wait to try a different dish next time! :)

Got to try Om Karmabile food truck at the Jackie Greene Concert at Fairytale town! A new food truck, Om Karmabile serves“Indian fusion” food. The Braised Lamb Torta(about $ 8) was delicious. The lamb was tender and juicy, and the bread was nicely toasted and held together well. The lamb puri($ 3.50) was the perfect appetizer/snack. The menu also featured a burrito, chicken tacos and rice bowls. I was eyeing these items when other folks picked up their food and they all looked tasty. The staff was super friendly and the line moved at a decent pace. It appears they’re still getting their processes down and working out their kinks. I’m glad there’s an ethnic food truck in town and look forward to getting my OM Karmabile on again soon. Check them out on Facebook at: and on Twitter at:
