Park Mechanical

I called Park to come out for a diagnostic of our heat pump system. Amar responded and quickly determined the problem was a loose connection. Our heater is back up and running, Thank you Amar and Park!

We have used Park Mechanical since they replaced our old system in 2009 which demolition of old system and designing the new one. We have been on their bi-​annual inspection program since and have experienced no problems. Their technicians are always courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Just had our system inspected by Isai P. who did a great job. We plan to use them for plumbing services and advice as well.

Wanted to thank Chris S. For the prompt attention he took to help us out when the heater went out on my daughters home. Chris had done a great job on our home back in September and when we called him, He came early the next morning, provided us with a couple of heaters for the night and was back the next day to install the new heater. We have had nothing but excellent service from this company and would recommend them anytime!

Called to have our water heater flushed while there was a special going on. Received a call in the morning when the tech (Anthony) was on his way. He arrived on time and got right to work. He had the water heater flushed quickly. Anthony was respectful and a pleasure to do business with. He not only did he handle the flush but Anthony answered a bunch of questions that I had about water heater maintenance. I plan to call Park annually to have my water heater maintenance taken care of from here on out.

Park Mechanical is the best HVAC company in Sacramento. Recently, their tech, Amar, came over to install my wifi thermostats. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The wifi thermostats work great. Park Mechanical did not have a «trip charge» like all the other HVAC companies I called to give me an estimate on installing the thermostats. They are the best value for the money in Sacramento. I would even consider them for a maintenance plan down the road.

We had an emergency with a clogged sewer line that had to be replaced. Dee Maddox did most of the job and he was professional, skilled and did an excellent job. He also cleaned up the mess nicely and left the site clean after digging a trench that was 5′ deep and 5′ long. He was also very friendly and cheerful. I would use their plumbing service again.
Not happy with the Shamrock maintenance plan which requires you to have Park take money automatically every quarter from your credit card or checking account. They won’t allow you to pay a full year in full in advance; They want the thing where they take money from you automatically. The only other option is to pay a lump sum in advance is if you pay almost double the amount up front of $ 189 per year vs. $ 24 per quarter. This is extremely stupid and annoying. Not a fan of this. They need to change this or lose customers.

Updated review 11/​25/​2015: We just had a new toilet installed, and I had a small ‘issue’ with the sales approach & what we expected. I have a suggestion: if you experience an issue, call the company first before you write your Unilocal review. I just spoke with Ryan the manager, and he addressed my concern completely. And I was just itching to write that bad review, but who can fault a company that doesn’t know there’s an issue to be resolved, when they’re more than willing to step up and fix it? Park Mechanical & Ryan just earned five stars from me AGAIN! Thank you, Ryan!

Amar was wonderful today. His knowledge is very valuable to me as a consumer. He is always prompt and polite and I would recommend him and Park to anyone.

I had an appointment to have my pre-​season tuneup on my heaters. Brandon came out & spent a lot of time on the job. Unfortunately, I need a new heater downstairs which was confirmed on a separate visit by a second technician, Amar, on their «buddy» system. Both were very courteous and explained things very well. Amar even educated me on different CO detectors vs monitors. He recommended I get some new ones for safety reasons. I appreciated that.
The office staff is wonderful too; very helpful & friendly. They always call ahead to let me know when a technician is on his way.

I called Park for a quick fix on a leaky old triple valve on my shower in a rental unit. The work needed to be done in less than a week. They scheduled a visit the next day between noon and three. Told them I would like a call when technician was on his way so I didn’t wait for three hours at a vacant rental unit. They called and Anthony the plumber was there 15 minutes later. I actually arrived two minutes after him (coming from Starbucks) and he waited for me.
He looked at the problem and gave two options. I took the less expensive (replace the guts) route and he went to work. Three days later after ordering new internal and trim parts and finishing the install everything is working great again.
Not sure if you can request a specific guy but Anthony was very informative and even checked the repairs I made to the main sprinkler feed, sprinkler valves and new kitchen faucet for leaks.
Overall — Timely arrival with a courtesy call. Acceptable price for work done. Quality work. Went above my expectations. Anthony was very personable. I’m very satisfied and recommend them for plumbing.

We were lied to by a sales man. We were told Trane was junk because it was made in mexico. We were quoted 18k and asked for a better price. Sales man said property value would go up 25k if Park installed the new system.
Sales man came to the clients house without an invite or notice after I told him his price was too high and to sharpen his pencil. Sales person was agressive and confrontational even after being asked to leave several times.
We will no longer concider Park Mechanical as a qualified sub contractor.

Beware, do your research. Scott came out and gave me an estimate for a root problem, then recommended replacing water supply repipe for a total cost of $ 10,000. After reading the other reviews and seeing that they tend to overcharge I got a second estimate from a large reputable company, who after performing a sewer insepection did not recommend replacing piping under the house and saved me $ 10,000. Should have been suspicious, when Scott came out no inspection was done, recommendation for work needed based on my description of the root problem.

Richie S. and Chris S. came to my house today to take a look at my AC that isn’t working. They were outstanding in every way. My family has been in the electrical contracting business since the 1940’s and we have had MANY years of business dealings with Park Mechanical. Park installed the unit I have now 15 years ago. After talking to Richie and Chris, my wife and I decided to have an all new system installed that will be more efficient than our 15 year old unit.
Both Richie and Chris S. were consummate professionals. They helped us choose the system that will be the best for us. They helped us through the paperwork and financing. Our new system will be installed in two days.
I can recommend Park Mechanical to anyone who needs help with their heating and air conditioning system. They are the best company I have ever dealt with.

Park Mechanical sent two very nice men Jose and Derek to fix our water treatment system. They were very polite also very knowledgeable. We recommend this company.

Update: once we made it known what transpired on our job (garden hose spigot), Ryan (a manager) personally made a trip to our home to see the work done and apologize with a partial refund. We were pleasantly surprised and it has turned our opinion around 180°. We would recommend Park Mechanical because a mistake was made, but it was corrected. We need a ball valve done, as well, and will be calling Park Mechanical back to complete the work begun.

I called Park mechanical Sacramento and Ryan the plumbing manager came out to take a look at our leak under our driveway and found out that we didn’t need to replace our whole water line and only affection he gave me a good price and had it fixed the next day by one of his plumbers great job again they now have received 10 stars from me!!!

Richie and Ryan of Park Mechanical’s Plumbing Division provided excellent customer service and successfully diagnosed and repaired my Lennox air conditioning system. They showed up on Saturday of a holiday weekend right on time, were professional, and highly competent. Richie was able to pinpoint the problem quickly. And while Richie was fixing my air conditioner, Ryan fixed a clog drain in my kitchen sink for no charge! Overall, my experience with Park Mechanical was excellent! I rate them a five star company and encourage everyone reading this review to use them for all of your air-​conditioning, heating, and plumbing needs!

Park came out to my mothers house on July 4^th and they were one of two companies (JP Gorman) that would come fix her air despite my pleadings to 7 separate companies. My is on mother on home hospice and the heat would negatively affect her condition and would require us to move her by ambulance to a cool location. Not only did they find a mobile air conditioner in their warehouse in case they couldn’t fix the issue; the technician, Chris went above and beyond! He even told us if any issues arose before Monday he would come back out. They provide SUPERIOR customer service! I would recommend them 100% confidence.

Park Mechanical was out to my home for an incredible deal on an A/​C maintenance. Ridiculously priced at only $ 10.40 for their 104 year anniversary! Richie didn’t cut any corners though, very thorough and explained everything in a way we could understand. Our system is REALLY old and while he offered an estimate to replace it, he wasn’t overbearing or pushy. He was super polite and we’d recommend Park to anyone now!

After my review the company’s operation manager called me and left a message on my machine to say he wanted to address my Unilocal review. I called him and left him a message with reception and he never called me back. This is typical of the business. You can never get anything resolved with this company. FRUSTRATING to say the least…

Margaret one of the District Managers at Costco called me to say that Bonnie Heating and air will be coming out so that I did not have to worry about dealing with Park Mechanical again.
