Three Points Star Motors

Had some questions regarding my BMW 530i’s front suspension system after I took it to a chain auto repair shop and questioned the work they said needed to be done. Called Three Points and spoke to Pedro, which was a total game changer. Not only did be provide a more competitive quote, he gave me solid advice on shopping around to get the best repair in terms of value. I’ll be bringing my car to Pedro from here on out because I trust him and his approach to explaining what made sense to fix at the most reasonable rate.

Eduardo and Pedro are the best mechanics/​shop I’ve ever used. Honest and straight forward and always take the time to explain what’s going on. I’ve been searching for a good shop for my Mini Cooper Clubman and finally found one I believe in.
They have a lot of experience with BMWs and Mercedes. I believe Eduardo is a certified MB shop mechanic (or was when he worked for a dealership). They replaced my clutch and thermostat on my Mini– they have reasonable shop rates and use OEM parts.
Glad I finally found a shop I can trust. I’ll be back and definitely recommend them.

Do Not Use Euro-​Am motors!!!

Let me start with Pedro is the man. I’ve been burned at other shops a couple times, I never get options. It seem like it’s always you need to do this and this is how much money it’s going to cost and I get very little explanation. Here I get options and explanations. I’ve gone to Les Schwab, Meinke and American Tire for quotes and been quoted for the same services here and I’ve usually saved at least a couple hundred dollars each time. I’ve had him work on a couple of vehicles now he’s done everything from wheel bearings to air conditioner repairs. I never feel any pressure and I definitely will continue to come here for my auto repair needs.

We took our ML350 here and they are as good as it gets! Father and son know everything about MB Mini and BMW, they found the issue we were having with our ML the next morning quoted a very reasonable price to fix it, and then because they were extremely honest about their inspections we had them do other preventative maintenance that we had been putting off. For the amount of money we spent we feel like we got a great deal and have found our new shop for our ML MB of Rocklin was just getting too expensive. These guys know what they are doing and are very honest they treat you like family!

I took my ml 350 in to be looked at for trouble starting after hearing of this place through a friend. They got me in the same week looked at my car and fixed it the same day! GREAT customer service very honest and reasonable prices. They take time to explain cause and effect of problem so you understand and what needs to be done now and what can wait. this is refreshing they don’t squeeze every dime out of you and fast work! this will be my regular maintenance shop from now on highly recommended.

In a bad turn of luck the air conditioning in my BMW went out at the height of my first Sacramento summer heat wave and I was desperate to get it fixed ASAP. Having just moved to Sacramento from the Bay Area, I was worried about finding a reliable and honest mechanic who wouldn’t gouge me at every possible opportunity to make a buck. Especially being a woman, you do worry that you’ll be perceived as clueless and be taken even more advantage of when it comes to repair costs. I looked through Unilocal and found Three Point Star Motors and was impressed by all of their glowing reviews. I spoke to the owner Eduardo who makes his sincerity obvious even over the phone. They were able to fit me in first thing in the morning (as requested) and didn’t charge me to look at the car for the source of the problem like almost every other mechanic said they would when I called around. The problem with my car proved to be a little more time consuming than they had originally planned (this was all within the same day so they were really fast imo) and I was waiting for the car to be finished in their office. The shop is owned and run by a Eduardo, his wife, and their sons. While I was waiting, Eduardo’s wife came in and talked to me and even offered to get me Starbucks if it was going to take much longer. It was then that her husband informed us that they would have to keep it until tomorrow in order to get a part and that should fix the problem. They were very apologetic about the later time, which I thought was understandable considering not everything is cut and dry when it comes to these things, and I planned to take an Über home. She then insisted on giving me a ride home personally so that I didn’t have to take an Über and we chatted up about the Sacramento area, family, etc. I cannot stressed how kind and honest these people have treated me every time I’ve seen them, and these days that is extremely rare. When it was ready the next day, my car worked like a charm and I paid a VERY reasonable price for all of the work, in fact, much less than I think I would have elsewhere. My car has been running well ever since and I’ve recommended them to anyone looking for a mechanic because their service, cost, and integrity is simply unmatched.

Pedro & three point star motors were very fair with me. I felt like they were honest and and did not quote me on more work than needed to be done. It is not by chance that all of their reviews are 5 star. I need to get quite a bit more work done, and am happy to have found this shop. Would recommend to friends and family.

I have been taking my BMW here for service and minor repairs for about 6 months and they have a friendly atmosphere and courteous service every time I come in.
Just now I busted my radiator and when I called their mechanic he suggested a great tow truck driver to help me to the shop. I trust these guys with my luxury vehicle and I see myself being a loyal customer for years to come. They get the best parts for my car and are very good at keeping me in the loop about my car.
I think all shops should be as clean and organized as Three Points Star Motors. I never feel dissatisfied when I leave here and I am seriously considering purchasing one of the mechanic’s old Mercedes Benz from him. I figure I will always have a great place to take it if anything should happen to it.

Had an issue with my ac and other mechanics in the area quoted me significantly higher than Pedro to change a faulty ac compressor. He manage to fit me in the next day after parts were ordered even though they were extremely busy. Fist visit here and everything was beyond my expectations. They do quality honest work at an affordable price. Will definitely bring all my Mercedes/​Bmw vehicles here from now on.

Called this shop after reading all the reviews here on Unilocal.I spoke to Pedro on the phone; super nice, straight forward and easy to talk to. The price he quoted was very good for the service (I was gathering quotes for the repair), and he offered to knock down the price do to towing considerations! Ultimately the shop was too far from the location to take advantage of the savings, but I had a great experience dealing with them.

I took my Volkswagen for sought to have it looked at. I received excellent customer service the owner was very personable and his son was very honest.

So happy I found these guys! After taking my car to Mercedes and having everything go wrong (for a million dollars), I decided to find another mechanic. You hear of so many scams out there, people telling you things are wrong just to take your money. Not these guys! I’ve taken my Mercedes to them a few times now and they are honest, trustworthy and their fees won’t break the bank. I’ve even taken my car in a couple times with no appointment for minor problems. Each time they have looked at my car right away and fixed it on the spot with NO CHARGE for their time! Who does that? They do! I will never take my cars anywhere again. Eduardo and his son Pedro are the most honest mechanics in the Sac area!

Pedro is trustworthy, honest mechanic. I went to the shop to get brakes replaced for my car (M — e350). The guy completed the job, and walked me through and used the manufactured recommended parts. I am glad, this will be my shop from now on, as we know its hard to find a trustworthy shop that works on german cars.
Will I go back? Definately Big Yes!!!

I have a 2007 BMW 650I and I can honestly say that I have had other people look at my cars and always try to upsell me and tell me that I need a lot more fixed then what I initially came in for. However, Pedro at Three Point Star Motors since day one has always been upfront and honest in the repairs I needed to get done. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but he gets your car back quickly. The work is thorough and the price is unbeatable. If you have a foreign car and you want to put it in knowledgeable and professional hands, then I would strongly recommend taking your vehicle to this shop. Thank you Pedro for all your help on all my cars, I genuinely appreciate it.

Eduardo is the only mechanic I will allow to work on my BMW. His work is precise, he is honest and his rates are incredible. I would never go anywhere else. He makes you feel like family. I will always refer people to him. He cant be beat!

Came here to get my Service D maintenance on my CLS55. Eduardo quickly introduced me to his business and gave me a run down of his shop. It is extraordinarily clean and well maintained. To me a dirty shop is not a good representation of your business, if you can’t keep your shop clean, then how much pride do you really have in your work? Anyway, the service went well, there were a couple of things that needed to be taken care of (leaky gaskets/​seals). Eduardo and his son Pedro explained each item in very good detail and made me feel like they were definitely honest and friendly. A lot of shops make you feel like an idiot being a lay person on things to do with cars, but they were not this way. I did have to take the car back because of a couple of minor issues that were not presented during the maintenance, but Eduardo went out of his way to diagnose the problem and was very transparent about his steps that he was taking to diagnose them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs service on their Mercedes Benz or BMW.

They always tell me what I need with my Mercedes C230 so that it lasts long enough for me to pass on to my neice/​nephew as their first car when they are of age.

I had been having my 2002 BMW MINI serviced in Palo Alto. When it started to make a squeaking sound from the back wheels I was scared. It is a high mileage commuter car so it’s vital to have it running well.
I brought it to Three Point Star Motors after a recommendation from a friend who’d had their BMW serviced there. It was everything I was looking for and more. They diagnosed the problem that day. Ordered the parts and scheduled a time for the service, making sure that they minimized the time I didn’t have my car. Best part, they did little things I didn’t notice till I got the car back. My drivers door had been creaking forever, I noticed as soon as I opened it up. They go above and beyond. I won’t be taking my car anywhere else.

Hello Everyone,
I was planning to purchase a Mercedes E320 from
so I decided to to conduct a preown purchase inspection before buying in which they’ve quoted me way less then the Mercedes Dealership near by. 5mins into the inspection the mechanic told me that the car had been in an accident and it just got a fresh coat of paint.
Then I had to give the seller the bad news that I wasn’t going to buy the car and he was a bit shocked and didn’t know what to do, but drive back to where he came from.
Eduardo Jr. & Senior are such nice people father & Son didn’t even charge me anything for the inspection and they just wanted to see me happy making the right decision and advised me not to buy a used Mercedes unless it’s safe and mechanically sound.
I give this shop 5 Stars because of their honesty and it’s a family business that sees the true value of helping others while being passionate about services cars.
