It’s a security checkpoint, what can one say? Well the staff are generally pleasant(unlike German or Russian airport security) and patient. There are always plastic bins when you need them and there is someone there to answer your last-minute questions. Then you step through the body X-ray… yay? After that you wait a second, they nod and you’re off to putting all your clothes on like a decent human being. Why not give stars you might ask? Well if you like airport security enough to give it 5 stars you’re probably crazy… but also on a serious note, they need bigger and more benches to put on your shoes, watch, belt, etc. It’s not always easy standing there with shoes in one hand, a box in the other and waiting for someone to finish tying their shoes.

I’ve been through a lot of TSA Checkpoints in my life — and I will give it to SMF Terminal B as being one of the most efficient. Everything is organized and there is always enough staff on hand to move people through the line quickly. Polite and courteous personnel! Thanks for making travel safe and being nice about it!
