Meet the Business Owner

Christy S.

Business Owner

Christy grew up around dogs her entire life. Her parents bred and raised Chow Chow’s when she was a child so she knew from a very young age that she wanted to work with animals when she grew up. While going through school to become a veterinary assistant, Christy decided she wanted to be a dog trainer; so began the journey and the passion. Now having trained dogs for twelve years, both to be great household companions and to compete in obedience, Christy wants to encourage others to get the same join out of training their dogs as she gets out of training hers.

«We don’t always get the dog we want, but we do get the dog we need. I know with some of my personal dogs, I was met with such extraordinary challenges that I am a better pet parent and a better trainer for having experienced those issues. If you stick it out with your dog you will find that wonderful things can come from extraordinary challenges and small steps can equal great victories.»
