Ordered a Lexi with me and my buddy. Tasteless and overloaded with onions. Big waste of money. Called to see about possibly getting another in its place. Guy basically told us we were out of luck. I work hard for my money and this was supposed to be a treat. Pissed

Worst service. If you don’t mind waiting an excessive amount of time, than at least the layout is decent. Food was worth the wait.

Just moved here from the East Coast — having lived in New York and Philly, And having had some pretty bad Italian food experiences in STL, I was very skeptical of St Louis Pizza. However, I have found Fortel’s to be very good. Can’t compare it to NY style, because it is just different, particularly the crust. Most importantly, I did not find the sauce to be overly sweet, which I have found to be common around here. Toppings aren’t super high quality, but some of the combinations they have are pretty good. Overall, pretty good pizza though relatively expensive.

This place has pizza so bad that a New York rat would not eat it(look up the viral video of a rat hauling a piece of pizza down subway steps to see the creature that I have in mind. Cardboard crust topped by second-rate cheese and overly sweet tomato sauce produced one of the most awful combinations I have ever tasted.

Very delicious take out pizza! Got the Family size Shelly Deluxe. Crust is perfectly crunchy. The toppings are fresh and filled to the rim so you don’t have wasted crust. The person who took my order was friendly. The dining area looks big and clean, and I’ll definitely come back to dine in and try their other stuff.

I love Fortels pizza. My favorite is the chicken spinach. It’s always perfect. The service is awesome and if you look around there are good coupons available. It always looks like a family place however I usually carry out. They always have the local St Louis teams on tap to watch. I think they beat other pizza places in our area hands down.

Went in hopeful. Love giving local businesses the biz and it is close to my work so I could grab one on the way home and be set for the evening. Got there at about 5:25 and stood in line while the counter person aggressively and rudely took care of the man in front of me — even disappearing on one occaision. Then came my turn. FINALLY! Then she disappeared again. She asked what I was there for and then the phone rang so she answered it in the middle of our transaction while another girl was already answering phones. Came back and said the second thing to me during this transaction which was the price. Finally left to go get my pizza and said«there you go» Never a thank you Not a «come again» Not so much as a please or even a smile. I realize it is Friday, but the entire restaurant world knows it is Friday — you are busy(and still, not packed, it was just that she was slow handling the customers as there was a couple or maybe two individuals behind me waiting for my transaction to be done) Left at 5:35 — ten minute just to pay for a pizza and carry it out. Terrible, TERRIBLE service. So bad, it was like she went out of her way to make it bad, that’s how bad it was.

Excellent pizza but a little pricey for Me. I will get their pizza on special occasions for sure, but not on a regular basis due to the cost.

The pizza was great! We are visiting the area and found this place close to our hotel. Pizza had fresh, homemade ingredients and awesome crust.

Not only was he pizza great, the service was excellent! We walked in a little before closing and we were welcomed with open arms and even got a free appetizer. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll be sure to go back.

This was a good choice. Stopped in on a Wed. Night for Pizza and a salad. The staff was very courteous and the food was great. I had a Mojo Meat Lover 10″ pie with thin crust… So good!

The pizza here is fantastic! Very fresh toppings and their sauces are out of this world! Definitely made there. Very nice spot! I have a feeling my boyfriend and I will soon be regulars here.

From Chicago and visiting St Louis for Memorial Day weekend. We decided to order pizza and eat in our hotel room since our kids had a busy day. When I called, the lady who answered was slow to acknowledge if they delivered to our hotel. Kids devoured the cheese garlic bread in a matter of seconds. The sausage had a different flavor than we were used it but overall was good. Pepperoni was standard. It was good pizza and fit the bill for what we wanted and had a reasonable price. Delivery time was faster than quoted.

I love this resturant with all my heart. It tastes so good. Our family loves this entire menu and we eat it almost nonstop! It is a very Rick tasting pizza and the customer service was fantastic! He even made me my own garlic sauce!

Not sure what people are talking about. The pizza dough tastes like it was frozen. The cheese taste like quartered imitation cheese sticks.

Stopped in for lunch one day on a whim. So glad I did! I was in a super hungry mood and coulnd’t quite decide what to get … everything looked good. So I settled on the lunch special of a salad and individual pizza and threw in an order of St. Louis toasted ravioli for good measure. It was my first time there, and unsure about the self-service and the flow of the restaurant. The staff was more than helpful in helping me get drinks, straws, etc. The food was delicious. Their house dressing is very tasty. The pizza I ordered, with sausage and fresh mushrooms, was amazing! Not greasy, crispy crust(but not dry) … just a perfect bite from start to finish. And of course the ravs were down-home comforting, too. The portions were so generous I needed a go-box — and got to relive that yumminess for lunch the following day! One thing that struck me as odd is that their menu offers toppings of both fresh mushrooms and/or canned mushrooms. Personally, I don’t know why anyone would order the canned over fresh … but to each his own. And at least they are accomodating to both preferences. :)

I enjoyed the pizza here, I had been to Chicago, IL for the deep dish and came here for a thin crust, besides I live here in ST. Louis, MO. I tell you what the owner a great person, I am sorry I did not get his name, but he is a great guy who knows great pizza and great service. We went in and was made to feel welcomed the staff took the time to answer all our questions and brought out a super delicious salad. It was so fresh and so good. Then the pizza came St. Louis Thin crust pepperoni. Man was that thing good, it had fresh ingredients and just the right amount of sauce. I almost though I was in Chicago, IL again eating pizza. One of the true great St. Louis style pizza’s to me. It was not greasy for a thing crust and not salty like some have been. Try it you will like it!

Wow look at this enormous glass if vino. Plus who can resist the amazing pizza and club salad. The place is a little noisy, but fun for a family too. The local hockey and baseball games are on tv There is a small game room in the back too! I love that you can also carryout a half baked and finish cooking later at home! We love love love the pizza

Sooo I live above Fortels. Literally I smell delicious, yummy pizza and mozzarella sticks cooking whenever I walk out into our parking garage. Every. Day. Not eating Fortels every day is probably my greatest accomplishment since moving to this new place. At any rate, my mom was visiting, and we were too lazy to go out anywhere for dinner after being out & about all day. We ordered over the phone and went downstairs; our food was ready and waiting right when at the quoted time. We got the large 14″ pizza with green peppers and slice tomatoes, a small order of cheese sticks, and jalapeño poppers. We thought the pizza was small for a «large», but it was just for two of us anyway so it was fine. The cheese sticks and poppers were good too! We’re both Chicago ladies so we typically like deep dish pizza better, but we agreed Fortels is good for thinner crust pizza. Even if the location was not perfect, I would be back here next time I am craving pizza.
