I’ve gone to this salon somewhat regularly for years. The quality of the cut depends on which stylist you get, and this past weekend I was really disappointed. Instead of listening to me, apparently she looked at the computer and saw what a previous stylist had done for me six months ago. Unfortunately for me, I had been letting my hair grow out during that time. I had gotten a really good, longer cut about six weeks ago and asked that she simply trim it up. Instead she went back to the very short cut I had six months ago. All that time growing it out was gone with the first snip. Every time I catch a glimps of myself now, I really just want to scream.
Be warned: be specific. I thought I was clear about what I wanted. She acknowledged what I was saying. Then she did something else anyway.

This place always fits the bill for a quick inexpensive haircut. I visit St Louis each year to see family; this is a great place for great service and usually no wait.
I walked in on a Saturday (no appointment) and got right in a chair. 15 minutes later I had a freshly shorn head (appropriate for work meetings, of course) and only $ 16 for the haircut and a $ 5 tip.
