I heard terrible things about the owner treats his staff. He’s taken their money and poured drinks on a friend who works there. DONOT support this business.

I’m always running around town for business, and really enjoy dropping in for a day beer. The bar staff is friendly and attentive. I appreciate the fact that they can do their job effectively while carrying on a conversation w/their guests. They have a kick ass heated patio area for the smokers, and are Vape friendly on the inside. We also enjoy the mature 30’s-50 something crowd. Never many kids in here, so that suits us perfectly. If we wanted to hang at a college bar, we’d go to one. Solid Soulard casual bar. It’s not trying to do to much. It’s just chill, and they play what seems like Red Hot Chili Peppers/Foo Fighters Pandora. Dollar Dollar beer y’all! All day on Monday! #awesome

I found the outdoor patio the perfect spot to watch a little football in the company of a pleasantly boisterous crowd.

Henry’s is a terrific spot to spend a night out in Soulard. It doesn’t get overly packed, so carrying on an intelligent, or alcohol-infused non-sensical, conversation with your friends is easy. I’ve also yet to see it dead on a Friday/Saturday, which is also a plus. The patio is the best part. There is a good amount of seating, the décor isn’t too excessive, and they have a couple of games(gasp!). There is a flip cup table, as well as a a most challenging game where you try to ‘float/toss’ a large washer attached to a thin rope onto a U-Hook nailed into a wooden post. Tantalizing especially after some drinks. Inside is pretty classy, has a clean feel to it, haven’t spent too much time in here, typically only to order draught beers(no taps outside to my knowledge). The service is very friendly and prompt. Had a bartender buy me a free round when he found out it was my birthday. Really appreciated that. Also, the beers are less expensive(want to say $ 3 a bottle) than most bars and the cocktails are strong, but not overbearing. Only thing in my mind that keeps it from being 5* is the lack of either, and one would suffice, a shuttle to sporting events or a food offering, even of limited capacity. Overall, a great spot that makes me not miss the Shanti. At all.

This is just the type of place this end of Soulard has been missing. Casual and impressive while not too pricey definitely a 180 from the Shanti aesthetically yet still with good Soulardians enjoying great craft cocktails, beer, and tunes.

Experienced the rudest & almost psychotic bartender on Saturday night. He cursed at our group and then actually came out from behind the bar wanting to fight one of the members No one in our group was out of line and he really needs some training on customer service. I didn’t get his name. He had braids and was working the beer garden. I’ve never seen anything like this before. He seriously needs anger management. I thought he was going to hurt someone.

New Soulard Bar. Awesome beer garden with great drink specials especially for the ladies. Has both an inside and outside bar, great customer service, and pretty bartenders. — Cheers
