My affiliation with MDVIP allows me to keep my practice small and spend more time with you to give you the personal attention you deserve. I have the time to get to know my patients beyond what brings them into my office. I know their interests as well as their needs, and I am able to not only treat illness, but also emphasize wellness and prevention, and to develop personalized plans that promote healthier lifestyles for all of my patients.

Dr. Paul M. Stein was became a licensed physician and surgeon by the Missouri State Board for Healing Arts in 1971.

Business Owner

Dr. Paul Stein earned his medical degree from the St. Louis University School of Medicine, after which he completed an internship and residency at the Jewish Hospital of St. Louis. In 1975, he became the Chief Resident in Medicine at the Jewish Hospital of St. Louis, and also completed a fellowship at the Barnes Jewish Hospital in Nephrology. Dr. Stein is a certified clinical densitometrist and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is affiliated with the Missouri Baptist Medical Center and the Barnes Jewish Hospital. He has been very involved in many aspects of the medical field throughout his life, chairing numerous committees and joining the American Society of Nephrology, the International Society of Nephrology, and the Medical Advisory Board for the Metro East Kidney Association. Dr. Stein has been honored with many awards, including the Physicians Recognition Award, Best Doctors in America (2003 – 2008, 2009 – 2010), and Best Doctors in St. Louis (2004 – 2007).
