Redbrick Pizza Café

I was really surprised by the quality of this pizza. We had 2 different sizes. The small garlic chicken was perfectly prepared and the 4 cheese was a bit underdone in the middle but was still enjoyable.

I was excited to see this establishment come to the food court here in South County Mall about 6 months ago. Working at the mall I find myself eating from the food court quite often, and until Red Brick there were 3 chinese inspired food options, DQ, Charlies Subs, Subway, Qdoba and Applebees. The later 2 options typically being the more expensive at $ 10 – 15 for the typical meal, while the rest you could eat well at for $ 5 – 6. Red Brick was a nice addition for a quick quality pizza or fazhani at about $ 7. It was so good and convenient that I’ve probably spent about $ 500 there since they opened. About 3 months ago they changed things up a bit. new menus, reduced options/​portions, oh and an increase in prices. I can expect small variations after opening a new location, having some growing pains and making minor adjustments based on the actual earnings of the store in an effort to meet projections. However, here we are 3 months later and the menu has been changed again to include all the original menu offerings, but now with a very noticeable price increase. I have your original menu from 6 months ago sitting in my desk. What I saw today equated to an almost 30%+ price increase from when you first opened. The poor worker at the counter explained that I was one of about 10 people just today alone who opted for something different after noticing the ridiculous increase in prices.
I patronized your business regularly because of the convenience of a quality lunch that was inexpensive. I can now order IMOS from across the street and get a lunch special for a few bucks less. If I want to spend $ 10+ I’ll go to Applebees. You just priced yourself out of the food court setting and lost not only mine but likely many other mall employees business as a result. Thanks, but no thanks.

This was a pleasant surprise for food court pizza. I got the Margherita pizza and it was delicious. Could have used a but more flavor but I’m not complaining. Can’t believe this pizza came from a food court pizza place. My husband got the Tutto Buono pizza and he said it was delicious as well. I tried it and it was too salty for me but I have a thing about salt. It also had like three different kinds of salted meats on it so it was no surprise.
We got an order of cheese bread sticks as well. They were so yummy with cheesy goodness I could have ordered more.
I decided to try their gelato because I don’t believe I’ve seen gelato in a food court before. I got the chocolate flavored gelato and it was scrumptious. It kind of tasted like there was brownie batter in it or something, making it deliciously rich and chocolaty. I ordered the small two-​scoop size and it was just the right amount.
Overall I would recommend this place and will definitely be going back to it. I love brick/​wood-​fired pizzas!
