History

Established in 1990.

Chris Okeleye started his career as a retail Employee Agent in Sears Store on Rice Street, St Paul, MN in 1990 and few months after hire, Allstate began to close up Sears Retail offices. I was given sixty days to look for an office within the area and given the opportunity to become a neighborhood Exclusive Agency still as an employee of Allstate. In June 2000, Neighborhood Exclusive Agency were given another opportunity to change to an Independent contractor and become business owners. This is where the birth of Okeleye Agency began…

I am an immigrant from West Africa and have lived in Minnesota for over 34 years. I had my college education here in Minnesota and attended Minnesota State University, U of M, Luther College and MN School of Theology and completed my Bachelors in Finance, Marketing and Management with minor in Accounting and Economics, Master and Ph. D in Clinical Family Counseling. I am married with children and very active in my Church.

I am also an Associate Pastor at Mt. Sinai C & S Church in St Paul, MN. I belong and volunteered at various Non-​profit organizations and actively involved in my community.
