We are a string instrument shop that specializes in hand-​made Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Bows. We have served professionals and students alike since 1982, with superior service and a fine selection of stringed instruments, wood music stands, and musician accessories.

Our Shop is located in St. Paul, MN, and our instruments are played by enthusiasts all over the U.S., Europe, Asia, Canada, Central America, and South America.

History

Established in 1982.

Andrew Fein, the luthier and owner, has over 30 years experience in his field. Andy has worked and trained with some of the finest makers and restorers all over the world. Before that, he served his apprenticeship at the Chicago School of Violin Making, and completed a B.A. in Music from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

Andrew Fein, the luthier and owner of Fein Violins, has over 30 years of experience in his field. He received his B.A. in Music at Wesleyan University, after which, he went on to finish his studies in violin making at the Chicago School of Violin Making.
