Dunkin’ Donuts

A role model Dunkin Donut store. I’ve had several mornings here and it has been great. Coffee is amazing, donuts are fresh, the service is friendly and fast, and the store is spotless.
It is quiet and the wifi is excellent. Also they have a Baskin Robbins attached and that is a bonus. The owner came up and introduced himself to me. Really nice guy, nice to his employees and creates a warm atmosphere. No complaints here!

I think they are just getting up and running but that’s no reason to hand out undeserved stars.
If you go (and you will if you are looking for dunkin coffee in the area) plan on allowing extra time and patience for a screwed up or forgotten order, even if you are just after a small coffee.
I’ll update my review next time I’m around but in the meantime I feel it’s justified after a few visits early 2016.

I really wish there were more fast coffee options on St Pete Beach. I find myself just coming here simply because there are no other options (and I usually just prefer make coffee myself at home).
It’s pretty difficult to get in and out of the lot. The employees are short, a bit rude, and make it seem like you are bothering them. I ordered a mocha the other day. I am a self proclaimed mocha aficionado, and I know it’s supposed to be shots of espresso, steamed milk, and mocha. They gave me brewed coffee with mocha syrup at the bottom, sugar, and cream. It wasn’t stirred and it definitely wasn’t a mocha.
Any time I get an iced drink, I have to order it half sweetened because they just put so much darn syrup in it. I’ve given them lots of chances, and I’m pretty much done. I’d rather head to DTSP for Starbucks.

I had no issues, two people ahead of me which is expected at any coffee shop. Great service, friendly staff, LOVE the new fudge croissants

The bagels are always pretty good, even if they don’t exactly toast them enough. They don’t put on globs of cream cheese like some places often do, either. The mocha coolants is excellent and beats the Tim Horton’s ice capp by a lot. Good value as well and nice service.

Bad Customer service. Went in to get ice cream and there was a lady filling up a machine and then walked away. After waiting a couple more minutes, I proceeded to the Dunkin Donut side where I was informed someone would be on the other side to help. After waiting a couple more minutes with no service, I left. Again, bad customer service given I saw three employees and the one employee had been helped.

We walked in and there was only two other people in the store. First of all, IT SOUNDED LIKE A RAVE, YOU COULDN’T EVEN HEAR EACH OTHER TALK! We went to the Baskin Robbins side since we wanted ice cream. There were two girls working, neither of which was working in the ice cream side. It took a few minutes and one of them came over. We asked for one of their Mix-​Ins, and she replied «What’s that?» We pointed it out on the menu, she still didn’t know what it was. The other employee had to come make it. Just because of the noise I don’t really need to go back. I give this place another 12 months.

This is the SLOWEST poorly run location I have ever been to. I waited TWENTY FIVE minutes for my food. The workers were rude and disorganized.

This establishment was horrendous! I would be ashamed to be the owner.
We ordered one donut and two «toasted» bagels and cream cheese…
As I complain about this experience keep in mind we were the only customers in there. 8 mins go by and the lady behind the register shouted out to me… Wait what donut did you want?! There were a good 10 employees in there twiddling their thumbs aka filling bags of pre packaged sugar into other bags. So we waited… 2 more minutes pass and we were asked what was your order?!
3 mins later we get our bag. We get home to find out we both got our bagels microwaved NOT toasted. Along with the smallest amount of cream cheese in the universe. It was a soggy, sad mess. Plus mine resembled a triangle, not a circle.
Horrible.

First and foremost; if you drive a vehicle with lower ground clearance, be very careful with this parking lot. The markings on the pavement would like you to enter ONLY from Gulf Blvd, and then you can only exit to Gulf Blvd if you’ve gone through the drive through, otherwise you’re supposed to go out the back side to Gulf Winds Drive. The exit to Gulf Winds Drive is very steep; my wife’s run of the mill Lexus sedan scrapes the under side of the trunk when leaving the parking lot! Trying to get in that opening, even though it’s marked for exiting, will scratch the front. On the Gulf Blvd side, you have no official way to exit unless you’ve gone through the drive thru; you can go against the markings though if you want to avoid scraping your car and there isn’t oncoming traffic.
Anyway, this is great addition for St Pete Beach, opened late June 2015. There was really nowhere on the beach to go for early morning coffee on the way to work before this Dunkin’, other than Mc Donalds of course, but who wants to drink Mc Donalds coffee… Dunkin’ opens at 5am and is central to the north and south ends of the beach, so it’s very convenient.
If you drive a large vehicle, their drive-​thru, which winds its way behind the building, is a little on the tight side, so large vehicles, or those with nice wheels, may be gambling. You should probably park and go inside instead.
Besides the DD side of the house, it’s also a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop. That part is not quite as exciting given the fact that there’s about one ice cream shop per block on St Pete beach; Larry’s, Scoops, Twistee Treat, D’Lites, etc. Personally I would, and will, continue going to Larry’s for ice cream; it’s a great family owned and run establishment just a few blocks away. They’ll custom order things they don’t have, they’ll combine things to make something unusual, etc. They’re the ice cream shop that really stands out on the beach.
