Love this place. They are open late, and the calzone are huge. Best place to go after a night out

No need to ramble here, or to try and be witty. If you like good, authentic Italian food, go here. If your a garlic fan, the bruschetta is a must!!! The garbage pizza, the best! I’ve eaten at most of the restaurants in the area, this is my goto for great Italian food. A low key place that’s easy to get into no matter the day or time. A local favorite. And if the Rays are in town, you maybe lucky enough to catch a couple of them here dining right next to you Go and enjoy! Stay hungry my friends!

Fantastic Pizza joint! Swung by for two slices at 3AM. Was expecting mediocre pizza and was pleasantly surprised when I took a bit into a delicious slice. The sauce was perfect and even with it being reheated in the oven, it was fantastic. Will definitely have to come back for a full dinner.

You can’t go wrong at Vito & Michaels. I’ve been coming here with my family since I was too young to know the different between spaghetti and linguine, but have never had a bad meal. Truly of treasure of St. Pete Beach, a place where everyone deserves to dine at least once. I most recently ordered the Penne alla Vodka with chicken, and it was prepared to perfection!

Love Michael & Vito’s! Group of 5 came here after a jimmy b’s night and ordered a large pizza. They can do half and half if you can’t decide. We got ½ garbage and ½ traditional. Traditional was so flavorful with ricotta(yum!) and garbage was excellent too with all the toppings. Love the thin crust! You can order by the slice or whole pizza and the slices are very big. Best late nite eats when hanging in St Pete Beach!

First thing we get served with when we walk in is a plate of attitude. Right when you enter is a menu on a lit up board & a tall counter where it looks like you order/pick up the food. I’ve never been here so it looked like you order your food at the front then go grab a seat. The lady glared at me when I walked in & asked brusquely«You order takeout?» I said No. Then she rudely asked if we were going to eat here… I wanted to say no and leave but my daughter wanted pizza and we were all hungry and it was late. When I ordered my daughter’s food they tried to force us to order a child’s plate and I said no. She doesn’t eat that kids stuff. She just wanted Penne pasta with marinara sauce. Our waitress was rude at first but then she became nice. No one can stay being mean to my daughter’s cute face. The table right next to us was rude and obnoxious. They were grown men but acted like a bunch of frat boys, language and all. I had to carry a loud conversation with my daughter so she wouldn’t here all the dirty language. It was only 9pm, I wasn’t expecting to encounter bar-like people in a sit down restaurant that doesn’t even have a bar. We were starting to realize we were in a small hillbilly town were manners weren’t appreciated. Almost every local restaurant we hit had the same attitudes. I guess they don’t like tourists. So sad. I really love trying local flavor and local restaurants. The pasta was pretty basic, no seasoning which was great for my daughter but no good for me. I will never come back and I know they don’t want me here either. The only great thing about our meal were some of the beautiful paintings on the wall that a local artist was selling. You would think for the prices on the painting, I would have a much more enjoyable dining experience. I was so happy to finally leave.

So, to say we got a little bit of everything g(pizza wise) is not an exaggeration! Traditional crust with pepperoni, thick crust with veggie and a paper thin crust with veggies and pesto. Absolutely delicious. We are in and salad was complimentary. The owner let me know this before ordering additional antipasta for the kids. Super sweet! We had cannoli after — excessive but oh-so-delish! Only complaint… Not sure what wine I ordered as I failed to note that there were multiples of different quality. Whatever I had was not good. I kept drinking it because hey — wine! Would have been even better if the wine was on point.

Thank you fellow Unilocalers for leading me here! My friend and I were on our way home on a Sunday night around 11pm and lucky for us, saw this place was open. We were seated in no time and with a quick glance at the menu we both decided on a slice of their meat lovers pizza. Oh Happy Day! What a slice of heaven. It was hot, delicious and filling. They weren’t skimpy on the toppings, the cheese was melted to perfection, and I ended up ordering another slice. So thrilled we stopped here. I will be back for thirds and twenty-thirds.

We have been coming here for years on vacation and a very good friend of mine recommended a pizza place to us. The place is open til 3am in the morning and the food there is delicious. I always order the garbage pizza which is equivalent to a supreme pizza, but I asked to hold the mushrooms and add jalapeños. The service is amazing drinks were always full and no issues with the service at all. My friend did order Elfite pizza which she didn’t enjoy because there was no sauce she can’t remember what the menu said whether there was sauce or not supposed to be on the pizza. My pizza the garbage pizza was very juicy and tasty. The meat on the pizza was very think and full of flavor. I also ordered a side of marinara for the crust to dip it in which was also delightful. I would definitely recommend this place for a late night snack or even dinner with the family.

Pizza crust was very bland and sauce not that great. Plus, a thin crust with a soggy middle doesn’t work for me. Maybe I am a pizza snob, but have lived here for a few years now and have tried all the pizza joints around here. None are that great. but the cheese cake here is delicious. Service is very pleasant.

2:30am on a Monday rolls around and we are starving and exhausted and I am craving pizza like a pregnant Woman craves McDonald’s(is that not a thing? My Mom did.) Husband suggests going to Walmart and receives a dirty look. This is followed by «if you find it, I will drive you to it.» I hop on to Unilocal and what do I find? Vito & Michael’s is open until 4am! 4am? That has to be a mistake. A quick phone call later and we were on our way to St. Pete Beach. When we pulled up we walked in to pretty much what we expected costumer-wise. There was a guy that was higher than a kite on the bench, drunk couple being obnoxious just inside the door. She was falling all over everyone. He was excitedly yelling that the restaurant had pizza. Note to self: order a head of time next time. A few other tables had people eating. We ordered a large garbage pizza and a meatball sub to go. The lady behind the counter was really nice and I think she appreciated that we were sober and just looking for food. We shared a look and an understanding. She told us it was okay to wait in the empty part of the dining room while our food was made. Yay! Vito & Michael’s is in a plaza and doesn’t look like much on the outside. The dining room was actually quite comfortable and nice looking. We enjoyed the décor while we waited. When our food arrived, we hauled booty home to eat in peace. The pizza was incredible! I am by no means a pizza aficionado. I grew up in the Cincinnati area and I live in Florida. With that being said, this was some of the best pizza I have ever had. Phenomenal. It definitely wasn’t what I was expecting from a beach restaurant that is open until 4am. We will make the drive again for that pizza. We even ate our crust! We never eat the crust. The meatball sub was good, but not great. I didn’t love the meatballs… but I am super picky about my meatballs yo. The bread however was incredible. Soft, flaky, fresh baked and delish. It was also HUGE. I really loved their marinara sauce too. I would order a sandwich here again, but I would try something different next time. I also REALLY want to try the pasta. In short, Vito & Michael’s is amazing. While I am SO happy that they are open until 4am, I would actually revisit this place during regular hours because the food was so good. They also had some specials advertised in the restaurant during«normal hours» that might be worth checking out.

Omg this is by far one f the best cheese slices I’ve had in a while! My boyfriend had the garbage slice and said it was really good as well. The cheese was gooey and melted to perfection. The slices take about three minutes where a whole pie takes about fifteen. The front counter staff were super friendly and seemed in good spirits. There were menues, napkins, and condiments easily available. Can order to go on paper plates to eat quickly and go :) Will definitely be back!

This is an awesome little seemingly hole in the wall restaurant on st pete beach. The restaurant is deceptively small from the outside but it’s quite nice from the inside. The food is really good, whether it’s the pasta, pizza or sandwiches. They are really cheap too especially their lunch specials. And what’s really nice is that they’re open til 4am so if you have a really late night(or I guess a far too early morning) and maybe drank too much, you need some carbs to soak up the booze, Vito and Michaels will be opened and ready for you. The service is great here. Everyone is super friendly even if the place is busy.

Picked up a pizza here around 2am last night(they’re open til 4am everyday; how awesome is that??) and first, I couldn’t believe I’ve never checked in and second, I was shocked to see I’ve never reviewed this place as I’ve been here 10 times, easy. Anyway, by far one of the top three pizza places in the Tampa/St. Pete area. Genuine NY style like it’s actually made in NY, not some imitation NY pizza. Perfect crust — not too doughy or dry and not too thick on the edges. I’m not sure where they get their mozzarella and pepperoni from, but they’re some of the best I’ve ever had. Very greasy, but that’s what makes a good pizza, as far as I’m concerned. The mozzarella sticks are actually triangles but for $ 7.95 for three triangles, it’s a little overpriced, as they’re not that good. Which is ironic, considering how good the mozzarella on the pizza is. But the pizza more than makes up for that. The staff is always very, very nice and they have yet to screw up an order or not be on time with a carry out. The restaurant portion is very small and they do have regular Italian fare, which I’ve heard is very good and I will definitely try. It’s just so hard to pass up their pizza. Also, be advised that parking is extremely limited so be prepared to take a little stroll if you go there during dinner hours, especially on the weekends. But all in all, for pizza in Florida, this is as good as it gets. I’m a loyal customer.
