Excellent!!! No other words will describe this restaurant! Had the Napa Blue and the dish looked great and the taste was all there! No doubt why they get 4.5 stars!

Absolutely love the Half Moon Fish Taco Bowl! Recently, added the kale base and it was amazing. Add extra wasabi aoli for more heat. Chips and salsa are one of my favorites, but I wish they had more seasoning on the actual chips. If you go for brunch, the Tex-Mex is a personal favorite. Has a great balance of spiciness and comfort. $ 2 Taco Tuesdays are as good as it gets. Fresh ingredients plus a great way to try different flavors! Please add nutritional info.

Great place for lunch or dinner, always fresh and nice portions. I usually get the Cali steak wrap or the fit for life meal.

Amazing dinning. Extremely healthy choice with great blast of flavors. Wine and beer selection are great. This is more of a brighter extremely clean dinning experience. If your looking for a pop in place and want to try something that will rock your taste buds this is the place!!!

Nothing short of incredible! I called in a take-out order while on the way home from TPA. My Hot and Crunchy tuna bowl over sticky rice was ready in 10 minutes and was fantastic! Tons of fresh tuna, sliced avocado, perfect rice, and the tempura fried onions put it over the top! And at $ 11 for a huge portion this has to be one of the best deals in the area! Try your bowl with an order of their chips and fresh salsa!

Food was amazing! I got the chicken wrap and it was delicious! It was presented nicely on the plate, you had your choice of potatoes or fruit I chose the potatoes and they were to die for. Outside patio had a great atmosphere and it was amazing listening to live music. Service was good.

We went to Ciccio Cali for lunch. We were very impressed with the food. We got the America bowl, Texmex bowl and Benni. The bowls were amazing. Kudos to the chef. Service was good.

Ciccio Cali is becoming one of our St. Pete«go to» restaurants. We enjoy the eclectic mix of foods, the combinations of available ingredients and the caring staff. Each time we have been seated quickly and served a delicious meal with great wine and beer suggestions to try. We’re both big fans!

Why bother repeating what hundreds of 5-star reviews have to say? I’ll just summarize: Eat here immediately! I will reinforce this fact though: The Hot and Crunchy Tuna Bowl is one of the most delicious things I have eaten in a restaurant, ever. It’s that good. So good, in fact, that it prevents me from trying anything else on the menu… which is sad. Luckily the sadness is always tempered by sheer ecstasy.

I don’t mean to be a buzzkill, but for vegans, this place is so, so blah. The ambiance is pretty OK, open and light, with a friendly and conspicuous bar. It’s the right amount of noisy, with live music, and I appreciate that. We came for a busy Saturday brunch but still received prompt service. Yet, the food. The tuna bowl my boyfriend got was Ok, but vegan options there were none. With a little conversation, I got a wrap, add veggies, take away meat. But really, a place this new age and no vegan choice without substitutions and additions? My vegetable assortment was full of peppers. So many peppers. I don’t have a great love for peppers. Squash, zucchini and broccoli were there for show but they didn’t take center stage. It was all peppers. We ordered the blah hummus with friend chips that weren’t thick enough to hold the hummus. Pita bread? Nope. Pay extra for vegetables to dip? Nope. Excellent service, good ambiance, blah food, which is most important.

Very nice Healthy Options: the«bowls» section allows you to pick your protein, with the choice of rice/noodles(hot or cold), kale, or spaghetti squash. I got the Tuna Poke which was delicious(a little spicy). My guests enjoyed the Hot & Crunchy Tuna and the Thai chicken as well. Brunch: «lean back» Lunch: «pop-in» aka walk up counter Dinner: «sit down» Happy hour drink specials everyday 3pm-7pm(HOWEVER, the specials are specific so ASKBEFOREYOUORDER)

Ciccio Cali has reasonably priced food and good portions. All of us ordered rice bowls because they have a nice variety of flavors and proteins. The Hot & Crunchy bowl with seared rare ahi tuna, scallions, jicama, avocado, cucumber, tempura battered onions, sesame seeds, and sriracha aioli, $ 11, was our favorite. It was like a big sushi roll in rice bowl form. The Half Moon bowl with grilled mahi, onions, black beans, salsa, cilantro, jalapeños, guacamole, tortilla strips, lettuce, lime vinaigrette, and wasabi aioli, $ 11 was also tasty. The server, Tyler, was very friendly with a positive attitude. My only suggestion is to get bigger spoons. I prefer to eat the rice bowls with a fork AND spoon. When I requested a spoon, it was a tiny teaspoon and not big enough for the bowl.

This was my 3rd or 4th visit but my first time for brunch. My last visit before this brunch visit was during lunch, around 1:30 or 2. We were told we had to go to the register and order, we couldn’t order from the lunch or a table. I thought that was odd since the other times I’ve been there, they had servers that waited on the tables. They weren’t very busy, some of the prople were hanging out. In addition the place was dirty and could use some cleaning up. Last week we went in for brunch, we did have a big group of about 12 but the service was a little rough. Our server was very sweet and apologetic. When we received our food and drinks they were messed up. Not all of them but some people were missing their food and or were given the wrong drinks. It was hard to get refills and new drink orders took a long time. Service has seemed to be an issue every time I’ve been here but this time it was the worst I’ve experienced here. As for the food, I’ve never had any issues with the food, my meals have always been good. I think I might like the breakfast bowls better than the other bowls though. I will be back but maybe only with 4 people max and definitely not after 2 since they don’t have any table setvice.

I’ve been here a few times for brunch. I always, always love the food. I’m a huge fan of their breakfast bowls. The southwestern bowl is awesome as is the Benny bowl. Their coffee is also tasty. What I do not generally love is their service. Generally, I’m there with one other person, and the service is still lacking. This last time, I was there with a large group, and the service was a disaster. Our waitress messed up the drink orders, a few of the food orders, rarely refilled coffee or water, and took seven years to get the checks to us. I don’t know if she was a rookie or what, but it was a hot mess. The moral of the story is: don’t get there with large groups, and don’t go there expecting good service, but do expect some scrumptious breakfast options.

I go out of my way to come to the restaurant when in St. Pete! We came here for the first time when we were in town for a fitness competition. The staff was amazing with all of our weird food requests and even gave us a couple of cookies on the house when we left(I ate the whole thing the second my competition was over! — SOGOOD). I’ve been back a couple of times with my family and boyfriend. Always impeccable service and fantastic food. Can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in the area, GO. It’s a super unassuming location and the fro yo next door is delish.

Publix plazas can bring about cool discoveries… and Ciccio Cali is one of them. I’M NOSHINGANDFEELINGHEALTHY = Many dishes skew towards the fresh and healthy side but don’t think all you’ll get is ‘bunny food’ here. Stir Fries, Salads, Pizza, and Wraps are among the variety here with plenty of non-veggies making appearances. Oh-my-freakin’ gosh – talk about flavorful! Every dish I’ve tried hasn’t been killed with spices or sauces yet every original flavor gets pulled through and explodes. I stick with their bowls. Big Tuna – especially for the price – had plenty of soft Tuna chunks within a mound of crisp Broccoli and Edamame. While the Tuna Poke was presented differently than traditional Poke, having it on cold ‘Asian noodles’ made it more filling and also delivered a fill of fish. The Napa Blue was also great with the creaminess of the Blue Cheese really tying together the Short Rib and Crispy Veggies. SERVICEANDSURROUNDINGS = No problems here at all. I enjoy how the décor with huge lettering and font on the walls seem to drip of energy and health enthusiasm. Our servers have been knowledgeable on all food questions as well as warning us when certain dishes are to be expected cold(we already knew that). GLUTEN-FREE/ALLERGIC PYRASAYS The menu clearly has symbols showing whether a dish is gluten-free, dairy-free or both and within the bowls section there’s many great choices.

Fresh tasty food that has flavor combinations I would never think of! This place is hoppin’! I got the last table on a Saturday at 11 a.m. Seriously people? You should still be asleep. By noon there was a wait. My friend, who comes here more often, explained that this was normal and that it is always busy every time she comes. Good to note, come here at off hours! Even though it was crowded, I never felt rushed by the waitress. We seriously sat here for a couple minutes chatting and nobody starting trying to shoo us off. It was nice. So why the crowds? The food is delicious and dare I say it, healthy? I got the Greek bowl that is available at brunch and it came with eggs, feta, olives, spinach etc., and I felt darn good eating it. This is one of those places that I feel like I can eat at often and not feel like I need to go run to work it off. I will definitely be coming back and trying more things. It was kind of difficult to find this place. I didn’t expect it to be part of a publix plaza. Parking is very easy since there is a giant parking lot for the publix.
