WiggleBums can teach you how to work WITH your dog’s natural inclinations, not against them, in order to achieve a well-​mannered family companion. Our methods increase your bond with your dog, and as that bond increases so does your dog’s obedience. Even so-​called ‘difficult’ or ‘stubborn’ dogs can become wonderful companions. Plus, we teach you how to integrate working with your dog into your everyday routine — training is less of a chore and far more enjoyable.

At WiggleBums, we use clicker training, a method based on behavioral psychology that relies on marking desirable behavior then rewarding it. This clear form of communication is an effective, safe, and humane way to teach any animal any behavior that it is physically and mentally capable of doing. And, it’s FUN for both you and your dog!

WiggleBums is now a Licensed Presenter for Dogs & Storks — the first national program that prepares families with dogs for life with a new baby.

Business Owner

Jo Jacques, CDBC, CPDT is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (#023); Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers; Professional Dog Behavior Consultant and Trainer through the Association of Animal Behavior Professionals; Professional Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (#64 427) and the Animal Behavior Management Alliance and holds diplomas in Dog Behavior and Learning Theory through the Companion Animal Sciences Institute. Jo is the current President of the International Siberian Husky Club, and works with a number of rescue groups in training, behavior and foster capacities.

Jo continues to attend numerous seminars and classes in order to further her canine education — continuing education enables her to give you the best, most up-​to-​date, dog-​friendly training and behavior services available.
