Deserve more than 5starts, I called to ask how much he charged and he told me it would be free for me if my insurance covered it. He saved me money by informing me on what to do, call my insurance ask if I’m covered and BAM! He came within less than a hour from the drive from Salinas to Hollister. He a pro been doing it for years, watched him do it at ease also puts me totally at ease as will. One of the nicest persons I have ever met. My wife got a small crack on her windshield I called frank for the first time the next day and he showed up with in 20 minutes did an awesome job. Great man responsible, very friendly highly recommend to everyone.

I called him and he returned my call within 10 minutes. He was able to schedule an appointment the same day. I was not sure if my windshield could be fixed. Frank said he would come look at it and if he could not fix it he would no charge me anything. He was able to fix it and it looks great. 4 years ago, I needed to repair my front windshield. I was referred to Sudden Impact by my insurance company. Frank was very professional on the phone as well as in person. He came out on time and proceeded with the repair.
Yesterday, I noticed that the crack on my windshield had grown. I called Frank back this morning, and he has agreed to come and fix it for free. He really does stand by his guarantee.

Frank is fast, honest, good communicator, and most importantly provide superior window repair service. We agreed to meet at Prunetree Shopping Center and he was very prompt, arrived before I did. Within 20 minutes, he fixed 3 dings and gave me price of one. His mobile service is another important point for me not to have to drive to his shop. Another satisfied customer added to his list.

This one-​man-​service is excellent and highly recommended. Frank is honest and fair, and does a professional job. He comes to your driveway within minutes or hours. He would not promise that the windshield ding will go away but he will do his best. I had mine almost gone, and had I not waited 4 months, it would probably be invisible. Frank was fair enough to discount me on the original quote (I was referred to him by another service, next time I’ll call him directly!). BUT when he heard I have GEICO (also recommended) he advised me to call them on the spot, told me some keywords how to talk to them, and they covered the whole repair, so for me it was free. Because of Frank’s honesty I ended up paying $ 0 instead of $ 75 I started with.
Frank, by the way, will probably end up getting only $ 45 – 55 from the insurance company… (remember, I was ready to pay &75) but this is why it’s remarkable! He definitely puts the client first and I will reward him by putting his card in my car shop in Aptos for further referrals. It’s always good to see and work with an honest guy, and I’m sure his professionalism and honesty will continue to pay!

My wife and I had just driven to Monterey from Chicago. During that trip while crossing Nevada we picked up a nasty ding in the windshield. We saw the rock coming off a semi-​rig and both of us reflectively ducked. When it hit the car actually shuddered. Yep, a nice star, naturally directly in front of the driver’s view (How do flying rocks know???).
A week later at our winter home near Monterey I was working in my garage and I noticed somebody working on the windshield of a neighbor’s very expensive Jaguar. I walked over. The neighbor was working in her garden and I asked her about the repairman hunched over her windshield. She said, simply, «Oh, Frank’s the best. He’s awesome!» So when he was done fixing her 3 dings (knowledgeable rocks evidently can travel in packs) he did ours. $ 60 bucks and it’s almost impossible to see the fix. Seriously, it’s almost like it was never there!
So, like my neighbor, I recommend Frank heartily. He comes to you, he does his thing for a reasonable price, plus he’s a very nice guy to chat with. So yeah, «He’s awesome!»

I decided to use Frank to fix my chipped windshield after reading the reviews on Unilocal.I was pleased with his professionalism and courtesy. He was out of town when I called and apologized for not being able to help me sooner. It all worked out, as I was unavailable until that afternoon as well. He also recommended that I inform my insurance company as they might cover his fee. Frank arrived that afternoon, and fixed the crack with no hassle. To top it all off, my insurance covered the entire bill! I will definitely use Frank again.

Driving down the freeway, I got hit by something that chipped my windshield and started a tiny crack. I began calling around to local places to get it fixed. The first place had me leave a voicemail — still haven’t heard back from them almost a week later! Next I called Sudden Impact (shoulda been my first call). Frank answered and said he could be at my house in about 2 hours — much better response! He was right on time and got to work on the chip I had called about along with another one that I hadn’t even noticed.
When he finished, Frank suggested that I call my insurance company to cover the cost. I didn’t even think to call them for such a minor repair, but sure enough, they waived the deductible and made arrangements to send the payment directly to Frank. The fee for the service would have been $ 70 for the 2 chips. I think that is very reasonable and was happy to pay that to save the windshield, but no money out of my pocket is even better!
Frank was very nice and we chatted casually while he did the work. Overall, this was a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them highly to a friend.

Very professional and detailed. This is my third repair with Sudden Impact. Frank has repaired my BMW and Mercedes (over the last 2 years).
I received a crack this weekend (the Saturday before Easter while heading to the Women NCAA Basketball First and Second Rounds at Stanford). What a let down; however, we enjoyed the games.
I called this morning (the following Monday) and he indicated that he would arrive in about 2 hours (after completing another repair). Perfect!!! I will have it repaired before heading to the last games this evening!!!

I was driving along the freeway, and out of nowhere a rock or something hit my windshield. Well the little spot began to crack. Concerned, I called around to different repair shops trying to figure out how much this would cost me. I was referred to Frank (the owner), who repairs windshields.
Frank said he would seal the chipped area for $ 75. After he arrived at my home (he will travel to where you are), he inspected the windshield and said he could repair it. He also recommended that I call my insurance company because most insurance companies will cover his service without having to pay the deductible. Well, he was right and my insurance company covered everything – no deductible required.
