With my broke college kid budget they did exactly what their slogan says and exceeded my expectations by far! They will definitely make your windows SHAKE! Great place in salinas to go to for all your car audio needs, window tinting, and even cellphone repair. Awesome service, courteous staff, and AWESOME QUALITY WORK! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

DO NOT GO HERE. I was recommended here. The kid at the front, «Brian» has horrible organization and customer service skills. They take the vehicle to someone’s house so you can’t watch them do the work. Where to start, I took my wagon in the day I bought it to get it limo tinted, at first the kid said they couldn’t do it that week. Then when I said I had cash, he said he would get it done for me that day so i left it and the wife and I walked Salinas for 5 hours till the job was done. Came back, there was hair in 2 of the windows and there was bubbles on the rest, it also wasn’t limo which is what we agreed on and why I spent $ 240 on it. I confronted them about the hair and bubbles, they said they won’t have a tint guy for 2 weeks now. They also said the tint was the darkest they had after they had put it on. (Could of just told me you guys didn’t have it from the jump). I come back 2 weeks later for my appointment and the kid Brian tells me the tint guy isn’t there on the scheduled appointment day. All he said was sorry and try next week. So after wasting all that gas driving a hour to and from this crappy establishment, I give them a 3^rd chance to fix it, I went back the next week, the kid Brian ask for my keys, takes it again for 3 hours. I come back and they had only re done 1 window with the biggest hair in it, the rest still have bubbles and one has hair still. The kids excuse was, and I quote, «it’s not worth it for us to fix». WTF? It’s my car, my money, so do it right or give my money back and I’ll go to someone more reputable. All in all, I lost 240 bucks plus over 100 in gas and have a shitty Tint temporarily. Trying to save you the headache, go to anyone but these guys.

I took my Dodge Magnum there to have a DVD player with backup camera installed, the deck they sold me did not work with the camera they sold me so they called and said I had to get another deck $ 200 more expensive, I said ok, went to pick up my car and they actually installed a deck that was $ 300 cheaper and wanted to charge me $ 200 more until I pointed it out then they still did not want to give me the price difference until I made a big deal over it.
DO NOT GO, they are a RIPOFF!

It’s ridiculous how ignorant these people are. He unscrewed my door panel and took out the speaker, then when he put it back, he screws the speaker screw straight into my power window motor. Then went I went back and told him it wasn’t working, he denied anything and everything. Didn’t want to fix it, said that he didn’t do anything wrong.
So I take it to mobile audio and they found out what the problem was.
Short answer, don’t go here.

I took my car in to get a sub and amp installed. It was installed and I was happy to finally have some kick to my music. I can’t remember how much later (not much), I noticed my sub was cutting out tons of times during every song!!! It was annoying to say the very least. I called tko they said bring it in all we will fix it, they «fixed» it and I drove off, only for it to still cut out again! After taking it to them once again I gave up on them. I took it to another place and spent $ 35. This other place fixed it within 20 minutes!!! That pissed me off that tko couldn’t find the problem like these guys did!!! I normally have ok experience at tko but this lost my business due to me having to use my time and gas to drive back and forth, and someone else fixed it insanely fast!

February of 2012 I took my Tahoe to have a stereo installed. TKO is right across the street from my work and the price was $ 40 so was convenient and inexpensive. The installer installed the stereo in about 30 minutes but there was a bit of a gap between the stereo and the mounting kit. I brought this to his attention and he said it had to do with the kit. Week later I had a friend of mine basically take apart the console and he fixed it so the gap was gone. Now forward to June 2013. I took my Honda Accord to have a stereo installed. Same crap again with there being a gap between stereo and mounting kit but installer also cracked the console panel. He tried telling me that it was kind of old thats why it cracked. I have a Special Edition Accord and it’s going to cost about $ 140 to buy a new console panel. Next time I’ll pay a little more to have the work done correctly.

Small shop in salinas, these guys know how to make your car go boom! for amazing deals. I had my sound system installed over a year ago and it still packs a punch! No blown fuzes, no broken batteries. Excellent team
