This place is a local favorite. The service is great and there is never a long wait. The food is solid each time and there is always something for everyone on the menu. I would highly recommend the place for breakfast or lunch.

This is one of my absolute favorite breakfast places in Salt Lake City! The stuffed French toast ks incredible and I would highly recommend just about anything they serve!

Food was average to good and the service about the same. Nothing to write home about but, a few thoughts for the owner/management: Please teach your servers how to pour water and coffee. Watching the server touch the rim of every cup in the restaurant and then rest the pot once again on your cup is really disgusting! O

This place is a great neighborhood breakfast spot If you are looking for the classic breakfast. Good portions, and good food. The only downside is– The weekend crowd can cause wait times of 20 – 30 minutes if you come at peak times, and they don’t take reservations.

We were mostly craving breakfast food around noon and this place came up in our search. Glad we found it and were well pleased. Small quiet and cozy little place with great tasting food and excellent service. Food came out just in time, and loved their California Benedict, with perfectly ripened avocados and great tasting hollandaise sauce. The hash browns were cooked golden and crispy. Hope this place doesn’t get packed on weekends when I really crave Benedict. :-)

I have eaten here twice and was not impressed either time. I want to like it given it’s location and potential, but haven’t been able to so far! Based on mine and my dining partners dishes, there is nothing special about them. They are not even visually appealing. The chef(or rather cook) is just getting the food out, without care. On my recent visit I had Cream of Mushroom soup that was grey and lumpy, not at all creamy. Was more like oatmeal with a few mushrooms in it. Half way through the cup, it became watery thin. The sandwich’s goodies were all centered in a circle in the middle of the sandwich with plain bread bordering it. Really, just one bite of flavor per half. I may try this place one more time; give it one more chance. Just hate to waste money and time on mediocracy.

I love having breakfast meetings here as the food and coffee never disappoint. While it is a fairly small establishment, the staff does very well handling crowd, even on very busy Sunday mornings. Their mexican dishes never disappoint and the coffee is delicious.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally made it in! They have really limited hours, since it’s primarily a brunch spot(although they have a small lunch menu with burgers and sandwiches). We got seated right away on a Saturday morning. Their eggs Benedict was delish. Add this place to your«places to try» list.

No biscuits and gravy? How can you be a breakfast joint and not have biscuits and gravy? No wonder why your not packed to the gills. Or just stick to your crappy Mexican inspired menu. Let me know when you change this and I’ll update my review. Awesome service that’s why I changed to 4 stars. 5 stars if you revamp your menu and add gravy

Took almost 40 minutes to get our food and then it was all very disappointing. The scrambled eggs were burned, the poached eggs were way over done. The breakfast burrito we ordered had no taste at all. The waitress was great but I won’t be going back.

I wish I could give a good review but I’ve had way too many bad experiences at Millcreek Café. I love the location and the food can be awesome but the service is poor most of the time. Today I took a well behaved 4 year old and a baby in a car seat and watched 3 tables get served before us. Eventually, our table of 4 adults and 1.5 kids had to ask for service. They brought scalding hot chocolate for our kid in tow. My order was wrong. No refills. But I think what bothers me the most is that I really want to like the place. I want to feel like I matter as a patron, whether I bring a child with me or not. And that just hasn’t been the case, today or in times in the past.

If I could give a higher rating, I would! I’m never disappointed with this place! I took my husband here for the 1st time and he was blown away by the food and the prices! We left completely full and happy. We will continue supporting this place! It’s spot on every time!

Tried the California Benedict with extra crispy hash browns. Since their slogan is «Every thing is better with bacon» they should upgrade to thicker bacon. Good place, will be back.

MCE is on par with The Park and similar establishments(maybe same owners???). The thing that set this dining experience apart for me was the service. The staff are like clock work when setting tables and replacing condiments. And all the servers help each other; a big plus in my opinion. Ordered the breakfast panini, and it was delicious. Also had a side of pancakes, which soaked up syrup with aplomb, and did not disintegrate upon being introduced to my fork… the pancakes had confidence.

Food was pretty good. We got seats immediately outside on a Sunday. Service was prompt but we had to wait a bit to get our flatware after the food came. Pancakes were good but nothing special. They offered coffee to go at the end!

Let me start off by saying the service was excellent. But, the food was over-priced basics with small portion sizes(think, a full grown man orders waffles and gets a single waffle for $ 8) and it was extremely busy and loud. It’s too bad the service didn’t reflect the quality of food, because I honestly don’t see myself going back any time soon. @growingfourlife

I think the breakfast here looks great. But we always come here for lunch so I’m going to review that today. First of all, service was fast and friendly. This place is usually crowded but we’ve never had to wait long for a seat. Ambiance is nice and clean. Today husband ordered the burger and fries. The fries were good, very typical. The burger was meh. Not a lot of flavor. My daughter got a cheese quesadilla with a side of fruit. Both were good but the fruit was especially great… a big bowl of bananas, strawberries and grapes. I love when restaurants serve kid friendly fruit with kids meals as opposed to half ripe cantaloupe and honey dew. I ordered the veggie panini. I love it and always get it. Lots of delicious veggies, cheese and pesto grilled on bread. It’s delicious. Overall the food is good and we like to come here. We usually hit up other places for breakfast but I’ve heard the breakfast here is great so we need to come back and give it a try.

Did not ask how we want our eggs poached, they came hard. Not impressed by that. Had to change our order once we found out they did not offer actual maple syrup. Sad. Food had a ton of potential but managed fo just fall short. Got the cali benny and only had enough bacon to cover half your bites. I wouldnt mind paying 1.50 $ more for enough vbacon. Service was good but no personality. Not rude but not super friendly. It would be easy enough to turn this into a five star with a little effort. Atmosphere is great, not too crazy of a wait. But i am still put off by the lack of energy from the workers. Service was not slow, but boring. No one was smiling… Probably will not come back just because there are so many other awesome breakfast joints in slc. However, The scone was incredible.

I could not give this place less then 5 stars. My boyfriend and I go here weekly and clearly it’s for a reason. The service is usually spot on. It is a fast and cheap visit. I have never spent more then $ 15 dollars for excellent quality food. Try: 1) Their Scone is a must have and staple of Salt Lake City. 2) Stuffed French Toast with strawberries 3) Millcreek Classic(cheap delicious breakfast) 4)Breakfest Panini 5) Reuben 6) Buffalo Chicken Wrap 7) Chicken Club Wrap I like how the menu is simple but has a lot of variety. On each bill there is usually a «free scone» option when bringing back your receipt which is awesome and very generous. I think the only problem I’ve had consistently is the bacon. It tends to be overcooked, so just ask them not to and you should be ok. Everything else is amazing! Enjoy my favorite brunch place.
