History

Established in 2012.

Since taking over Sammamish Pet Sitting, now Furry Amore, in 2012, I have completed thousands of walks, pet sitting check – ins and other furry friend related activities. I have cared for many animals since starting that include dogs, cats, birds, snake, fish, chickens, alpacas’, a goats and ponies.

Furry Amore cares for all types of furry and non-​­-​furry friends. We offer a wide range of pet care services that include dog walks, pet check-​ins, premium pet food, pet shampoo and repellent

Business Owner

My devotion to furry friends began while growing up in a small, coastal town, near Bodega Bay, CA. From an early age I was able to experience raising a family of pets that included ponies, horses and multiple cats and dogs.

My passion for animals led me down the path of studying Biology with an emphasis in Zoology at Sonoma State University and in 1994 I received a BA in Biology.

In 1996 I made a commitment to get two dogs that would end up having a major impact on my life. Juno and Seneca were Malamute/​Wolf hybrids. Because of their bloodline, I quickly realized that I had to care for them in a much different way than a non-​­wolf hybrid. They required an extensive amount of exercise and training. Over time, I found myself referred to as the neighborhood dog walker and have continued to help friends out with their pets. Because my love for furry friends continues to grow I have chosen to make dog walking/​pet care my career.
