We work on all phases of interior remodels — including kitchens and bathrooms. Our design services take the project from conception to construction. We offer a broad array of possibilities for your kitchen and bath, from traditional to contemporary. We access many sources — custom or pre-​fabricated — so that each client can design a room that reflects their unique tastes and living patterns.

Decorating Consultation

We make house calls for those looking for advice on how to rearrange, mixing new with the old, accessorizing, home organization, choosing wall colors or textures, or any other particular design problems.

Our Showroom

If you like to do your own designing, you can work with us in the showroom to find unique furniture, custom fabrics, and eye catching accessories. We offer access to many furniture vendors and artisans so you can fill your home with unusual and artistic furnishings suited for your distinct environment.

Established in 1994.

Philosophy

Our design philosophy is centered on exceptional service and collaboration. We believe that our role is to work with our clients to achieve their design goals, not ours. To this end, we see ourselves as a tool for clients to help negotiate through the overwhelming world of home design, furnishings, and architectural finishes. Our designers are educated and knowledgeable in the field, and can help clients define their likes and dislikes, styles and tastes, and ultimate design goals. Once a program is settled upon, we become the invaluable resource in executing the design plan.

We are results oriented. We take a professional and project management approach to every job we take on, whether it be sourcing a single piece of furniture or remodeling and furnishing an entire house. We work within budgets that we help the client’s establish up-​front. We attempt to carry and specify a broad range of product lines to fit a broad range of budgets.

Business Owner

Robin Barnato, Principal, ASID

Studio Home is an extension of a 15 year business career in which Robin specialized in building and financing small, high-​growth companies, and a lifetime of passion for art and design. Through Studio Home, she hopes to bring a fresh, contemporary, eclectic and accessible design concept to Marin County and beyond.

Robin has completed 70 units of Interior Design courses through the Certificate Program at U.C. Berkeley Extension. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from Santa Clara University, and a B.A. from UC Berkeley.
