We’re a neighborhood bicycle shop. Our goal is to help you have fun on a bike. If we need to fix your faithful old steed or saddle you up on a new bike we want to see a smile on your face.
Very reasonable price ! My dude and I just got into bikes and so were not knowledgeable about size and height for the specific bike we needed and all those technical stuff. The staff was so so so helpful and gave us the whole run down. I wish I knew his name. Anyways great bikes, great service. They know exactly what they are doing here.

Thanks to Klaus for setting me up with a rental bike, helmet, lock and map all for one reasonable price. If you want to rent a bicycle this is a solid option. The rental fleet includes men’s and women’s cruisers with six gears and one brake handle that actuates both front and rear brakes. The front brake was binding a bit but other than that it was a good ride!

I went in here to rent a mountain bike. Pricing was really good and the staff was really friendly. The rental started on a Saturday and since they weren’t open on Sunday they only charged me for one day with a Monday return. Like a lot of businesses downtown it’s a house converted to a business which really makes it feel like a neighborhood store. Not a big selection of mountain bikes but a lot of cross utility bikes and townees. I really LIKE these guys. They have a hang out meet once a week at this place.

I bought a used bike here several months ago and it has been a great bike! The guys there were super nice and helpful and we saved a ton of money on my first bike. Now that I know I love riding I will be back to get a better road bike!

I am so excited because I am picking up my new bike in the next hour. I have not bought a bike since I was a teenager. The shop is very clean and nice. Klaus helped me out with my purchase. He was not a «pressure» salesperson, just courteous and informative. I would recommend this shop. The price point is great.

Great bike shop just north of downtown. The staff is friendly and knowledgable. Their pricing is competitive. I’ve had new tires put on and they do a great job making sure everything is right when they work on your bike. They have a monthly block party on the first Wed with a raffle and a DJ, which usually brings in a good crowd of cyclists and enthusiasts.

When you go in ask for Maxim. He will take great care of you. Alamo Bike Shop offers both rentals and sales of bicycles. They provide a complete service and sell accessories adn parts if you want to turn your own wrench. The service was amazing! The first Wednesday of each month they have an open house with prizes, food and beer. It is a great time and a great way to get to know some other cyclists and find new rides to go on. Check it out!

Fantastic bike shop. These guys really love what they do and it shows with the really positive energy you get when you enter the shop. Small bikes shops are the best. I was able to pick up an Abus lock cheaper than the regular retail price. They have a good selection of single speeds here as well.

Enjoyed the visit and CP is a really courteous gentlemen, in the old time sense. He treated my kids like they were paying customers and didn’t bat an eye when they ran amuck. Definitely a local store, but I wish there was a bigger selection.

Had a problem with my bike’s tires failing to inflate, so I brought my bike in. Originally thought it was a problem with the presta valve, but turns out the tubes were popped! Employee over there was nice and very helpful. Answered every question I had even though some of them weren’t relevant. I live all the way on Mulberry and Broadway, but this is definitely my go-to store for bike repairs now. PS: Place looks like a normal house with the bike shop sign in front. Don’t miss it!

These guys are great! CP took us on a half day tour of the missions which turned into a few stops for great food and great drinks. We even hung out at the shop with the whole crew after the ride was over for the warm up for the evening. Dont bother going anywhere else. Excellent service from a great group at the alamo bike shop.

Great place to rent a bike. The staff is helpful and friendly. The equipment is very good quality. And the prices are reasonable. We had a flat tire and they brought a new tire very quickly at no charge. We will definitely rent from them again.

I had no idea this store was here. We went in to see about parts for our motorized bikes that we are building. We were able to find the rims we need. The guys there were nice enough to let us take pics of the tag so we know exactly what we need when we get the money saved. He unfortunately does not work on motorized engines, but I get that most bike shops won’t since they are there to promote regular bike riding. I hope they won’t hold it against me that I will be regular riding as well as turning my bike into a work horse for deliveries. I will be going back as often as I need to. I am really looking forward to seeing if they will be sponsoring any fun rides. I would love to take part in that if at all possible. I did not see anything for kids there, but I would like to think that in time, they will be considering the next gen of riders and expand into a great kids line.

Came in to browse, and was pleasantly surprised! They stayed open late for me, and even showed me around, and demonstrated some really cool features on some of the bikes, and explained how they worked. The staff was really patient, and cracked a few jokes with us. They offer rentals, which is pretty cool, especially if you’re going to be cruising around all day! There’s also a tuning and repair service, which looks pretty cool!
