I drove up 10 minutes before opening and waited for them to unlock the doors. I was treated with the best service I may have received anywhere. I wish I knew the lady’s name. She was like my personal shopper and helped me get items for my up and coming trip. I must say… Truly a remarkable experience. And all after being that annoying person waiting for the doors to open… HAPPYCUSTOMER!

Being a neat freak myself, I LOVE the idea of a store being organized by color. This works great for the jewelry and other accessories such as purses, wallets, and scarves. However, this store gives me such a headache to look at the shoes and clothes. They attempt to separate them by color as well, but it’s a definite fail. They should just have all the clothes and shoes in a separate section, but all together that way you don’t have to wander around the whole store. Also, it’d be nice if they had more than one size available in each outfit. Nice place to find cheap yet decent jewelry to match for any occasion, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything else. If you do find something to buy, sign up for their free store card to receive a small discount each time.

I would give it an extra star but everything they have I have seen before at similar prices. But here is a good thing, in their sale section I got 3 pairs of stunning earrings, 1 jeweled bracelet, and a pair of trendy sunglasses… all for under $ 10 bucks! and they dont look cheap at all! i love CC!!! =) Their shoes are at quite reasonable prices! Not so crazy about their clothing.

What I love about Charming Charlie is the store is organized by color. So if you know you need to match jewelry to an outfit, for example, just go to that section. It’s a big place with lots of options, but you never feel overwhelmed bc of how well organized it is. The people who work there tend to be very friendly at the counter but not a ton of help is offered on the floor. Not that I need it bc it really is organized very well. But the most important part of this review is the prices. They can’t be beat. It’s cute jewelry in great packaging, for really low prices. So you could even give these pieces as gifts without seeming like, well, cheap(even though maybe you are!)

Guess I’ve been living in a cave because I didn’t know about this place until I recently received a gift from there. I went to check it out for myself and found it fun, festive and adorable. I love how the items are grouped by color — — makes it so easy to find the perfect set. I didn’t have much time, so I picked up a few pieces of jewelry, but will definitely be back to look at the clutches, scarves and other accessories. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

Unlike Melissa D. and Allison F., I actually did not find CC to be «well organized» at least for my taste and point of view. I found the multiple shoe sections, multiple jewelry and clothing sections to be inhibitive to my shopping and in fact never ended up spending any $. I did try on two dresses, one of which I put on hold until Hubby came back from Best Buy to give his opinion but I never did go back. The long lines were a turn off. When I asked the greeter at the door if I could put the dress on hold I was told«of course». I then asked if I had to stand in line to do so… he looked over at the sea of people and must have gotten the hint b/c he took the dress right from me and my name. I would like the place much better if the jewelry, shoes and clothing where each divided by type and then by color instead of by color first. I can see how some people prefer this though, just not me. I was discouraged that not much was in stock in my size, most of the clothing was size ‘Large” and even one of the«Small» dresses I tried on must have been a «San Antonio Small». Aye. I would totally go back though and hope the place to be less crowded as there are sure to be some well fitting gems in there somewhere. And the accessories are insane.

Yeah, it feels a little grown-up-Claire’s-y, but it’s definitely more grown up. It’s better quality, and there’s a wide selection within each(fabulous!) color grouping, so you can find conservative or wild pieces. The staff is always helpful, too. And, come on, shopping by color is awesome. It just feels FUN when you walk in. I needed green and silver jewelry for a certain night, and I knew I’d find something here. I got a cute silver clutch while I was at it, and didn’t break the bank.

This place is fun to walk through, but I rarely find something that I absolutely have to have. Now, that being said, I buy gifts for my SILs from this place and they love them, so I’ll be back!

I took a day to walk around La Cantera and found this place. I agree with the previous entries about how similar this place is to Claire’s. It actually also reminds me a lot of Serendipity on San Pedro. The prices are pretty good. It’s not the most well made jewelry you’ll find but it’s cute stuff with a good price. I like the fact that you can find something for any outfit you have.

I love this little shop! Charming Charlie’s is a well-organized, hip place to get reasonably prices clothing, handbags, shoes and jewelry. The minute this place opened, I wanted to go in. Their window mannequins were so cute! I was surprised when I walked in because all of the items are organized according to color, which is different. The store isn’t super large, but they have a good amount of stuff in there. The staff has always been friendly too, even once helping me look through all the bags for a particular style I wanted. The prices are really reasonable, with clothing ranging from $ 10 to about $ 30 and jewelry and bags are even less. Parking can be a little tricky if you visit at night because of the proximity to the overpacked Palladium parking lot. However, if you go during the day, you shouldn’t run into any problems. A tip: my friend’s stroller did not maneuver well through the little aisles, so if you have a baby, considering wearing him or her in a sling instead of attempting to shove a stroller through the racks. Overall, Charlie’s is an awesome little shop to browse for inexpensive, fun items. I have found numerous things there I like and also a few gifts for others.

This place is a lot like Claire’s or any other costume jewelry shop. Most of the earring are a good price(under $ 5) but I doubt they’re surgical steal. The store is color coded — that’s nice. They have necklace/earring combo’s for under $ 15. Its an ok store. I went on a recommendation, but I doubt I’ll return. If you sign up for their free card you get 10% off your 1st purchase and 5% off the next purchases. The store’s aisles are really close together and there are a lot of people bumping into each other.

I adore this place. All the current fashion accessories and clothes a woman could ever want or need… okay maybe not all but a good majority. =) I’ve been to the Pearland location and of course when I heard they were opening up a location in San Antonio, I was ecstatic. The prices are reasonable and the feeling you get is a sort of hip and funky atmosphere when you walk in. The ladies are nice and readily available for your questions. My babygirl loves the stuff here(even though she CLAIMS to be of a tomboy nature, I can see the girly-girl coming out of her in here!) =P
