Poor, poor, poor customer service. Had the decorator out three times. Paid her over $ 1000 for consulting work and another $ 2000 + for flooring. Took our antique furniture in to be recovered in August, made appointment for owner (decorator) to come out to show us fabrics. Owner didn’t keep appointments, didn’t return calls, people she recommended didn’t call. Then would tell you different stories as to why the work, calls, appointments didn’t happen. Finally had to get an attorney to get our furniture returned in January after months of no service! Thankfully our cell phone company keeps records as to all the calls and texts we sent!

Feather Your Nest, located in the ever popular Artisan Alley, is a little shop with home décor and seasonal items brimming over every desk, table and otherwise flat surface. This store has hundreds of items, ranging from large mirrors to little, glittering measuring tapes crammed into a relatively small area.
Most of the items that were there when I visited were Christmas items, but there were still a few year-​round decorations out. The Christmas décor was bold and glittery, without being tacky or cheesy. There were quite a few unique items that would be great for gifts as well as a few that would be perfect pick-​me-​ups for yourself.
Prices were a little on the more expensive side, considering this is a small boutique. However, most of the items were unique and interesting enough to warrant a little extra cost. I really liked this store and I am excited to go back and check it out after the holiday season too.
