They close at 9:00 and I get it, they wanna go home. But legit stalking your customer at 10 minutes until closing saying«we close in 5 minutes. We have to close on time. We have automatic shut down of the register»(I call bs on that last one, btw) is not really cool. I was done picking my items. I paid and was out the door by 9:00. There was no need to be rude. Also, if I say something about it, telling me it’s «okay» is not okay. I wasn’t apologizing. I was complaining. Telling me I should have come in earlier if I didn’t want to be creeped out by your pushy coworker is also NOT okay. You get paid to be there girl. You get paid to provide customer service until closing and then clean up. If ANY of my employees ever treated a customer like that, even if they WERE there until after close, they’d be written up in a heartbeat. I’ll be calling their manager in the morning and never shopping at this location again.

Ran in here to grab two shoes that I had originally put on hold but it had lapsed(FYI: You can only put shoes on hold for 24 hours at any Payless Shoe Store). Ran in, was able to locate the 2 pairs on the shelves and paid. I was in and out without any hassle or problems.

I walked in today to see if there were any rainboots available. After walking through every single aisle, I did not find any rainboots OR a single soul — not even a sales associate. Seriously?! I thought it was so bizarre. I doubt there was only one person working that day — so where was everyone?
