Olga knows jewelry and has a great eye for design. My fiancé proposed to me with a custom engagement ring that Olga designed and created and of course, I had to go and meet the wonderful woman in person!
Since then, she has not only advised me on what jewelry will look great with my wedding dress, but also is designing my complex idea for a wedding band. She uses the latest software technology, shares the step by step process along the way, and creates a digital 3-​D image of what the ring will look like before it gets created and outfitted with diamonds.
I have full confidence in Olga, trust her professional opinion, and would recommend this shop to anyone interested in one-​of-​a-​kind jewelry created with love.

Arrived at 4:15pm (they say they close at 5). Took them 3 minutes to buzz me in even though they saw me. All their jewelry was being put away. They told me to come back on Monday since they didn’t want to take anything out of the safe.

I followed the Unilocal reviews to the shop that I have been walking by for 30 years, and am so glad I did! Needed a repair to a beautiful ring and was quoted an outrageous price by another local jeweler. Thank you, Olga, for the reasonable, wonderful, and gracious service.

My fiancé and I were looking for a jeweler for my engagement ring. We already had the diamond so it was a matter of finding the right setting. I walked into Accent on Jewelry because I saw a beautiful art deco ring in the window that I absolutely loved. Olga took that ring as an inspiration and designed a gorgeous ring that would accommodate my diamond (it’s an Asscher as opposed to old European cut on the art deco ring.) She also made sure the ring would look good on my hand, making the design more feminine than the original. It’s absolutely perfect! The detail work on the ring is absolutely amazing. It looks like a real piece of jewelry, not something mass produced and the pricing is very fair. Thanks, Olga!

This is a charming, old jewelry store. It is run by Olga and mainly another Russian older lady, kind of like Pinky and Brain. One is highly intelligent and intuitive to your needs and the other is a bit flighty, dated, and ditzy. If you want fast and prompt service like Tiffany’s, Kay’s Jewelers, or Shane Company, go there. If you want personal and old-​fashioned small jeweler, who can create a custom anything for you, like the Fairy Godmother in Disney’s Cinderella, then you’re in the right pumpkin patch.
She knows jewelry, gold-​smithing, and design. She’s been a goldsmith for 30 years and 40 years as a jeweler. It’s a one woman show, mainly, though she does have help. Expect short delays, which she will be honest with you if there are any.
The craftsmanship is excellent. She’s a perfectionist and attentive.
I feel like Cinderella with the engagement ring she custom designed with the latest CAD software. It was really cool to work one-​on-​one with a jeweler, who share with you the step by step process of making one of a kind jewelry that you can customize.
The CAD file of my custom ring design was sent to be 3-​D printed out in wax, then caste in «lost wax» method. Then it was shipped back to Olga, to be finished and mounted with diamonds.
We love the ring! It is perfect. It has my personality. It fits so comfortably and so uniquely designed. I can wear it daily.

Where do I begin? Will & I just left Le Boulanger across the street and saw this place. We decided to walk in and I had an underwhelming experience.
Greeted by an older woman who asked us how we were doing. Before we could respond, this lady cut us off to go to another customer who’d just walked in. She’d forgotten about us! We felt like a nobody. Not good customer service in my opinion.
If you’re looking for a smooth transaction, this isn’t the place in my opinion. Walking in, you’re greeted with an extremely loud buzzer/​ringer just like you hear entering a 7 – 11 store (but much louder)…
As far as inventory, they have terrible selection of wedding sets and rings. It seemed like they specialize in necklaces and bracelets.
Final note… we will NOT be back and do not recommend this place.

I came here after looking up jewelers on Unilocal,because I wanted another alternative to the shop I usually went to. Best decision ever.
The first time I stopped by, I wanted to make sure a jewelry item purchased online was indeed what it was advertised to be. Olga was affable, straight to the point, efficient, and, after analyzing the stones and comparing them to the ones on her wedding set, she gave me a verbal appraisal that put my mind at ease. She also cleaned my jewelry that came out sparkling like a Disney stream on a summer day– WHET! Side note– I wanted 2 estimates, so I went to another well known San Carlos jeweler I had visited several times before. They downplayed my purchase, made me question my judgement and immediately tried to have me return the item because they could «make me the same one at a similar price.» Mind you, I had been there 3 times already, trying to find a similar piece that would not leave me bankrupt. Uh huh.
Anywho, after that visit, I knew I definitely wanted to give Olga more business. I went back a few weeks later with my mom’s ring (she had bent it somehow), and had Olga fix it for us. It came out flawlessly spherical, and my mom actually mentioned that she did not remember it ever being so clean. That lady does NOT get impressed easily– heck, I can’t even get a pat on the back sometimes– so having her utter anything was QUITE a feat.
Finally, today, I went back to Olga for an appraisal. I had called last week to inform her I needed one (I was pleasantly surprised she recalled my name– not many people can do that), and she was free after I got off work this afternoon. I was accommodated promptly, and the appraisal took 20 – 30 minutes. Again, as all my previous experiences with this business, it was fast, simple and painless.
I recommend this place to anyone looking to get any work done on jewelry. I did not have them make any pieces from scratch, but the day that happens– I will definitely share the deets!
***EDIT after a year and a half; I am now married, and I got my wedding band from Olga as well. I get countless compliments on my set, and it was a very decent price. So pleased with everything, and with her amazing service.

I found Olga after «interviewing» six jewelers and doing a lot of research. I’ve been married seven years but wanted to change the setting on my engagement ring. Olga sat down with me several times and helped me decide what to do. The end result is a beautiful, classic piece of jewelry. Thank you to Olga and Stephanie for the advice and reasonable price for excellent craftsmanship. I will return for whatever the next project may be…

Olga designed a new ring for my wife’s large Asscher cut diamond. We obtained an excellent, beautiful and uncommon piece of jewelry after a collaborative design process. She has very good instincts for choice of material, setting, sizing of stones — we trusted her on a number of choices after reviewing the 3D computer models and were rewarded with an outstanding outcome.
A couple of examples: we (all) thought that each side stone should be ¾ carat, but after Olga worked on it for a while she suggested and showed us stones that were half the size (.35 carats each), which saved a bunch of money and the end result looked better. She did two separate designs for the ring, one more traditional Cartier style and one that followed her own ideas — she fully fleshed out each and we chose her design.
One key about Olga’s design process — she is a fully modern CAD shop. She builds her designs in a 3D CAD system that renders a lifelike image before she /​you commits to the end result. When it’s ready, she has a mold printed using a 3D printer, so what you see in CAD image is what you get when it’s all done. This worked extremely well for us — we were thrilled with the end result, it met and exceeded our expectations based on the CAD images.
Finally, WRT pricing, I thought Olga was very fair — we spent the majority of our money on the items needed to build the ring and I felt the end result was far less expensive than if we had bought a lesser design «off the shelf» of a major jewelry retailer. It took some time, in our case about 3 months, but we had expected this and found it well worth the wait.
If you are looking for a crafts-​person who will build a unique piece of excellent jewelry, Olga is the right person IMO.

I recently needed to get my wedding band resized so stopped in and met Olga for the first time.
When I learned that she was a jeweler, not just a jewelry sales person, I felt that this was likely the right place to go. But what really sold me was something intangible — I just felt like I could trust her.
I came back a few days later to get my ring and was thrilled with the job she did. Not too tight, not too loose. Perfect. And very affordable.
I was about to leave but since it was a few days before Valentine’s Day, I decided to look around for something for my wife. As I am by no means a jewelry expert, I gave Olga a couple ideas about what I might like to buy. Immediately, she picked out a piece that was perfect. Again, very affordable and very nice. There’s also something really special about buying a piece from the person who made it with their own hands.

Expert jeweler Olga can turn your least-​used jewelry into a work of art that will be your favorite piece of jewelry! My husband took my heart-​shaped diamond and ruby pendant and an anniversary band to Accent on Jewelry and it was master-​crafted into an incredible one-​of-​a-​kind work of art that I wear every day! Olga is a master craftsperson of fine jewelry!

I came in this store a few minutes after they opened because my fiancée and I were shopping for wedding bands. We walked into the store and saw empty jewelry cases. There wasn’t a single piece of jewelry in sight. The woman said that they don’t put their jewelry out until around 11:00 even though they open at 9:30.
As a business, you should honor your store hours. If you open at 9:30 then be ready to serve customers at 9:30. If you cannot be ready for business by 9:30 then change your store hours to 11:00.

We have been going to Olga for our jewelry repairs and purchases for many years now and our experience has always been the same. Accent on Jewelry is fair, professional, creative and always a pleasure to deal with. They do business the old fashion way. They deliver when they say they will and always give you the best advise on how to achieve your needs inexpensively as opposed to looking out only for their own bottom line.

Excellent service and craftsmanship, Olga is very knowledgeable as a jeweler and very responsive to questions and concerns.
I ordered my wedding band from her, it was basically an off the shelf band that she put a «hammered» finish on. The whole process took only a few days and the price was very reasonable.
The most impressive thing was when I came in to measure the band she had received for me I put it on a few times and thought it was ok. I then left the store and called her a few minutes later to say that i thought the ring was too big by half a size. She told me she thought so too and had already ordered a smaller size for me. There were no delays and the ring was finished on the original promise date.

I recently took a large diamond to Olga to ask her advice on a setting (not the wedding diamond we had purchased from her earlier). She emailed me 3 wonderful 3-​D design options for settings, and made the entire process so easy. The software program she uses allows you to see the ring designs from all perspectives, including size, dimensions and so on. It really was so helpful. I live in Marin County, so it saved me trips back and forth to discuss the setting. I loved her ideas and selected one, which she made up beautifully, and, as always, artfully and with precision and care. It is truly beautiful, and the total cost — for executing the design options, as well as the work itself — was very reasonable. Olga has much skill and experience, and I continue to work with her on projects large and small. Thank you, Olga!

Olga, the owner of Accent on Jewelry in San Carlos, is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, artistic and creative. I have used her for years for top notch jewelry repair, as well as for re-​design of older pieces with stones. She has always been cordial and offers a wide range of options and ideas. When my new husband last year wanted to find a beautiful diamond solitaire for me, we didn’t hestiate to go to Olga. She found the perfect diamond in a gorgeous setting. Rather than waste our time with dozens of diamonds and settings (typical in large retail settings), she zeroed right in on what I wanted, size, quality and so on, and presented us with several perfect choices. I highly recommend Olga — she is not only a neighborhood ‘fixture’, but everyday people as well as the well-​heeled from all over the peninsula come to her for quality, design and fair pricing.

I gave the store a call and I was directly transferred to the expert jeweler, Olga. We chatted quickly over the phone about the design I was looking for and she advised I come in so she can take a look at my sketches and inspirations. My background is in design so I wanted to fully participate in the design process of my ring.
Since my fiancé works near San Carlos, it was very convenient for us to swing by. Soon after we stepped in the small, but cozy shop, we were greeted by Olga. She took one glance at my sketches and knew exactly how to bring them to life. Olga also gave us an estimate within minutes that was very reasonable. What sold us though is her ability to create 3D drawings. Both my fiancé and I work with 3D programs and know exactly what a difference they make in visualizing the final product. Plus you can make changes right there without having to start all over. Based on the first set of drawings, Olga herself recommended we make some small changes that would better compliment the overall design. Thanks to the updated drawings, we were able to see if that’s what we wanted. And we did!
Fast forward to a few weeks later, I am sitting here and marveling at the design and craftsmanship of my ring. I’ve heard through my friend and read on Unilocal that Olga is absolutely amazing at her craft, but my expectations were exceeded. It was a pleasure to work with a goldsmith who has a talent for design as well.
Olga will forever be my go-​to jeweler and I will continue recommending her amazing services to friends and family.

I just got engaged, and Olga, from Accent On Jewelry is creating a setting for my engagement ring that I am very excited about. I use my hands a lot and can be very tough on my jewelry, so Olga is making a setting that is perfect for my diamond and me! I trust Olga because she is very talented and a wealth of expertise. Me and my fiancé had a really great experience working with Olga on a custom ring design. The first thing that really caught my eye was how clean the craftsmanship was on her ring designs. We looked at a lot of designer rings, and honestly the work just wasn’t as nice as Olga’s. Her jewelry has really intricate original designs, and everything looks really clean and just perfect.
My fiancé had some ideas for a specific look for the ring, So I brought Olga some reference material and she designed an awesome ring taking the best elements from the reference material.
Once the design was done I came in to review the design in the CAD program she uses for design. This was great because i could give any feedback I might have before the ring actually gets made. She was very helpful in assisting me in which diamond we should pick for the ring.
My fiancé loves the ring, she was completely surprised when she saw it as she didn’t want to see it before I gave it to her. We returned to Accent On to thanks Olga, and she was very happy to see us, and is always nice when we visit.
We are going to come back and get our wedding bands here as well. I’m really glad we found this place. Honestly, If your looking at rings, just go here and look at the details on the rings and compare them to other stuff out there, I don’t think you will be disappointed at all.
