Gordon Aatlo Designs is a full service jeweler, offering repair, restoration, gem/​diamond replacement and pearl/​bead re-​stringing service, all in a friendly, casual settting.

We follow Eurpoean traditions and create unique, well-​made items of jewelry to last more than a lifetime.

Only recycled precious metals and gemstone protected under the Fair Trade Act are used from trusted sourses and Diamonds are certified to be conflict free. One of a kind engagement and wedding rings, including those with colored gems, are our specialty.

History

Established in 1977.

Gordon Aatlo Designs has a long history in the San Francisco Bay Area. Gordon originally worked as an apprentice at his father’s trade shop, creating designs and servicing the needs of some of San Francisco’s best know jewelry stores. After many years as an apprentice, Gordon began designing and manufacturing for several well know stores, including Gumps and Neiman Marcus in Dallas, Texas. Along with his wife, Norma, they opened their own jewelry store in San Carlos, where he specialized in custom designs. In 1997, Gordon Aatlo Designs premiered his own line of designs of fine jewelry, creating mostly one of kind designs featuring colored gemstones.

Known for his work with the world’s finest gemstone artists, Gordon is a two time receipient of the AGTA Spectrum Award, he is frequently featured in several publications. Considered a master designer and metalsmith, Gordon specializes in custom designs as well as his own creations that set trends in the world of jewerly designs.

Gordon Aatlo has been designing and creating world class jewelry for more six decades. He is one of the few recognizable designers to produce his own work, from concept to the finished piece, all accomplished in his studio in San Carlos, California.

Gordon has won several national awards for his original designs and expert execution and has graced the pages of several publications.

Gordon is known world wide for his creativity, ingenuity and for the inventiveness of his designs. His designs are recognizable throughout the industry, although no two are ever the same.

Colored Gemstone and Diamond Specialist, Gordon is both a Master Designer and Master Metalsmith and is an expert in Platinum fabrication, repair and restoration.
