We’ had Guttershutter install their system on our house a few years ago. Their crew and estimator were professional and good workmen that got the installation done quickly. The ‘no clog’ guarantee will likely attract many people to get them (including us, as our house is situated in close proximity to large cypress and pine trees). However, they attain this guarantee by using large/​oversized downpipes… nothing wrong with them, as they will color-​match it to your house, but nevertheless we now see gutter plumbing as a prominent part of our home façade.
Lastly, the sheathing designed over the gutters (designed to keep out debris) will get dirty with time and when they do, they don’t allow the water to roll into the gutter like they were meant to, so you will have gutters that ‘deflect’ significant amounts of water rather than absorb them. — Every rainy day I’m reminded of this! I don’t want to sound inflammatory, but I believe this to be a bit of a faulty design. I haven’t ventured onto the top of the roof to clean the sheaths, as it sort of defeats the main reason we got these gutters installed in the first place…
I give 3 stars – (4 stars as the empolyees were top notch. And 2 stars for a gutter design that not only sheds debris but also the water that it was intended to suck up).

We used these guys after seeing them at a street fair in Alameda. WE had had a horrible experience with getting a new roof earlier in the year. The sales person came to the house to explain their product, but only Jack was there. So they rescheduled – they had to have me there! Why? Are all the wives required to listen to a boring demonstration about gutters?
So the guy returned and convincingly explained why they’re the best (and the most expensive). I was hesitant. Jack wanted to go ahead. We did.
Well, they finally came about 3 months later while Jack & I were on vacation. Only our housemate was home. They started the job, then told us we didn’t have the required flashing and it would be almost $ 2000 more! Oh, well!
But we do have nice gutters!
