Love it! I’ve been coming here regularly for a little over a month now and I don’t know how I went so long without it. I have a really packed schedule juggling both a full time career and a Masters program and in the last 6 months, my workout routine had really started to slide. I was feeling really down about myself and just constantly sluggish and I knew I had to do something about it. Came here with their intro offer of $ 25 for three classes for new students and I haven’t looked back since.
They offer a variety of classes. I’m really into their TRX and yoga offerings and I’ve been trying to take a few different ones that work with my schedule. I can feel myself getting stronger — I was never able to do Crow pose before, but now I’m slowly able to hold it for just a few seconds longer each time I do it. And every time I take a TRX class, I feel the burn the next day!
In the last month, it’s amazing how much better I feel. Also, with everything I have going on, it could be really easy for me to make excuses not to get in a workout. But coming to MyNuLif keeps me sane and helps prevent me from burning out under the stress I’m constantly under.

I have been coming here for two months now, and I love it; I actually look forward to working out. They offer a really nice balance of classes and styles, and all the instructors are supportive and challenging/​motivating. I feel so lucky to have found this studio!

This is my home studio. I usually work out at home because it’s convenient, but I’m willing to make the drive to take yoga classes here. I’m devoted to the Sunday morning class with Aislinn, and recently discovered what a great yoga instructor owner Anjanette is too. I love that this is a small, community oriented studio. It’s friendly, clean, and full of natural light, plus the rates for yoga are quite reasonable if you get a class card. The smoothies are delicious and super nutritious, and I’m looking forward to trying the next 3-​day detox.

Decent studio, awful customer service.
I started going to this studio about a year ago. I purchased a new customer package and then 3 times have purchased a 10-​class package. For a full time working mom, it is very difficult to use all 10 classes in a 3 month period. Other local studios either allow one year to use the classes or no expiration on their packages. This studio will roll over the unused classes if you purchase the next package BEFORE the prior one expires, but this effectively shortens the time you have to use the classes you are paying for. This policy also changed during the time I was going there and was apparently explained in an emailed newsletter, but not told to me when I purchased the next (and my last) package. Here’s a newsletter for you: I don’t read every email blast from every business that asks for my email address.
Class schedules and offerings have shifted several times in the year I’ve been going. Which makes having a regular schedule difficult in addition to my other obligations. I have also had many different instructors over the year, possibly an indication of management.
Recently, I realized I was not going to finish my class package in time, and decided that I would not purchase the next package just to get all stressed out over trying to use even more classes all over again. I sent an email to the owner explaining my situation and asking for additional time to use the classes I bought, letting her know that going forward I would be paying per class since that worked better for me and noting how her package offerings compared to the other studios in the area. After a few email exchanges, the final response was that she would not extend my time to use the classes because it was only fair to others that had asked the same. By itself, a reasonable response which I can understand; you want to stick by your policy in fairness.
But the rest of the response was a little less ‘customer oriented’ to say the least. She reinstated some older expired classes, but since she didn’t give me more time use them it feels like a really back-​handed offer to strong arm me to spend more money on the next package that I, again, won’t finish. She also contrasted herself to a «major medical insurance corporation» saying she is not «gauging clients for overpriced insurance» and said she is serving the community. Actually, you are a for-​profit business woman — and if you wanted to keep your customers you would make some exceptions to your policy — like those big corporations do to keep their customers from moving to their competitors.
And I certainly (here’s the kicker!) don’t appreciate being told that I should «Consider making more time for yourself so you can get to class more often» when I am asking for more time to use the package that I paid my hard earned money for.
I really like to support locally owned businesses but not when they don’t support me back. Luckily there are other options in the area.

What a great spot! There is more to this place than the amazing décor and zen feel that you get as soon as you walk in… Anjanette the owner is amazing and definitely knows her stuff when it comes to living an all-​around healthy life, inside and out. I am hooked on those TRX classes! If you live on the peninsula and don’t work out here, you are missing out!

Fantastic studio! Super clean, beautiful, and great vibe too. It’s a place where you find community. I love their motto «You belong here». Everyone is very friendly, it has a cozy feel and the classes are great! Anjanette the owner cares so much about her members and has clearly put her heart and soul into this studio. I highly recommend it!

I was doing «crossfit classes» for about 6 month’s 2/​x a week and my body was so sore after every class. I was getting to the point where i felt i needed to do some yoga/​stretching classes. I had seen this place on my walk’s around the neighborhood so i decided to stop in and inquire about it. I signed up for 1 month just to try it out…4 month’s later i’m going 4/​x a week and sometimes i will take a trx class then a yoga class right after that (and if i’m really motivated i will even walk there)
At my other gym they would push you to lift more weight and i didn’t like that. Even if you were stuggling with it. I feel that’s how you get hurt and then you really wont be working out at all. At Mynulife all the instructor’s are great. In the beginning of class they will ask if anybody has injuries and they will modify the move/​pose for you.
As soon as you walk in they greet you by your name which is always nice.
It’s very clean and bright.

I have been taking classes at MYNULIF for a year now. I enjoy the variety that you get with each teacher and always look forward to taking class here. The owner and front desk staff are always friendly and remember you by name. I would go every day if my schedule allowed for it!

So my dream fitness studio happened to land a block away from me! I practiced yoga before (Being Yoga in Burlingame, and Nandi Yoga in San Mateo) but had been on the sidelines since having my daughter. MyNuLifStudio has been the perfect reintroduction to my flexibility and sweat glands. ;) Clean, natural light, eco-​friendly, radiant heat in the studio, nice essential oil diffuser and mat spray (Lemongrass is the best!), filtered water, showers for women, rental gear for those days when you’ve forgotten half your stuff. The online reservation system is straightforward and super convenient and guarantees that the studio won’t be packed like a cattle car. (If you’ve ever had someone smack you in the face while exhaling their arms down to Tadasana, you’ll know this is HUGE!)
I usually take Bikram with Anjanette, Vinyasa ½ with Aislinn, and Core Yoga with Anna, and the occasional kids class with my daughter (we’ve had Alina and Miriram). All completely different and completely awesome. And the folks at the desks are fellow yogis who are volunteering their time of studio access… I’ve been impressed that most of them greet me by name.
And the Zinger green smoothie is dangerous… so delicious and good for you and pricy. Though I should say: I’ve tried to reproduce the smoothie at home with some success and have to say that the mark up isn’t that crazy, considering the quantity and quality of the produce. (And it takes 10 minutes for me to cut everything up!) My daughter always requests a coconut water after the kids’ yoga class. :)
Hope they keep up the good work and never never never relocate because I might not be able to make it to 6:15am classes otherwise!

I have been a dedicated yogi to another local studio. Classpass brought me to try this place and Im glad I came across this place!
I have taken Aislins Sunday AM class and I love it! Its an all levels class and she provides many options for beginners and intermediate. Bonus she also gives a short temple massage at the end!
I love the studio bec its nice, new and clean! It has a lot of mirrors and natural light.

One year ago I went to this new studio’s Open House. I have to say I’m addicted! The variety of classes is amazing — from gentle Yin yoga to pretty intense hot HIIT and everything in between! All of the instructors stress listening to your own body (very important to me). The convenience of a shower allows me to drop in mornings or noon time and continue about my day. I am so happy to have this fabulous studio in my life!

Yoga Instructor Sarah Sykes — Vinyasa I/​II. I attended a small class led by Sarah Sykes. She gave clear, easy-​to-​follow cues, and included a well-​rounded sampling of traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa postures. She approached the group of mixed-​level beginners with humor and support as appropriate, and had a calm, easy-​going demeanor. Not too lovey-​dovey or New Age. Nice teacher. Nice class.

This is a beautiful studio with a great variety of classes. From Yoga to TRX to HIIT — these are the classes I love with Anjanette, Suzanne, Jos and Patrick. Great challenging confirmation with encouraging instructors. Anjanette and Carter are warm and helpful owners who care about their customers. Anjanette has a strong background in health and fitness which she offers readily through her delicious green smoothies and detox programs. There’s also great mindful programs that explore the spiritual /​conscious side which is nice.

Terrible customer service! They do not accept responsibility for their promotions and have zero regard for customer service or keeping clients.
I walked in with an Amazon Local voucher and was told it was not valid because I have taken a class in the past. The voucher said NOTHING about being a NEW member. Apparently, Amazon had ‘messed up the wording’ and they could not honor my voucher. I asked Carter (part owner) if they could please accept my voucher since the error was not on my part and he said no. Wow, for being owner you would think trying to accommodate a customer would be important. He didn’t even offer to let me join the INTRO TRX (class I was trying to attend and that HE was teaching!) or any sort of amends. Very small studio, but a convenient location. Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new studio that cares about its members.

I moved to San Carlos from SF about six months ago and really took the time to find the right work out home. I tried the traditional gyms in the area (ghetto/​overpriced/​no parking), tried a Pilates studio and finally stumbled on mynulifstudio and have been coming religiously since.
There are so many great things about this place. It’s conveniently located with plenty of parking, it’s clean and smells fresh, the staff is really friendly and the owner, Anjanette, is simply awesome. She knows everyone by name and has started to become a friend I look forward to seeing. The concept of this studio is brilliant. You have choices of cardio, yoga, Pilates, or simple stretching classes which is nice to avoid exercise ennui but also provides variety depending on what intensity of work out I’m looking for on a given day.
Now when I walk into mynulifstudio, the smell alone starts to help my work stress melt away. Love it here and hope it never gets too crowded!

This studio is very clean and bright. They offer a wide variety of classes and times so it is very easy to try new workouts and fit them into my schedule. I like being able to reserve my spot online, plus I get a reminder email so I know what day and time I signed up for. The people who work there are very friendly and welcoming. I actually look forward to my workouts now!

I work close by to this fitness studio so I decided to try out their classes during lunch. I have really enjoy the yoga classes lead by Edwina and Maureen and the TRX class lead by Patrick. Those three are great they make you feel welcomed and guide, correct you when needed. This is a small nice studio with great instructors.
Please note that I have not taken all the classes offered by other instructors.

Time to say how much I am enjoying mynulifstudio! What a find. Anajanette is so warm and welcoming and all of the instructors I have «practiced» yoga with, have been helpful, encouraging and enjoyable to be with. I just participated in a sound healing meditation and am floating on a cloud. There is so much offered here, book clubs, yoga, TRX and the ultimate in delicious green smoothies. I think I could live here!

I love the space, a place you would like to work-​out in; clean, zen-​like look. I tried the Hot TRX class taught by Anjanette; challenging good workout. I am sure to have sore muscles tomorrow! I took advantage of the Amazon deal, $ 29 for 5 classes, so I will be back to try the Pilates class and maybe the yoga.
They also make great green smoothies which are sold right there at the studio.

This is a new fitness studio in San Carlos. As part of their grand opening, a friend and I tried out their TRX class as well as their Hot Pilates class.
We enjoyed the TRX class, however we were both novices to the experience that is TRX. It is quite confusion at first, but once one gets acclimated to the contraption, as well as the exercises, it provides for a strenuous workout. We are planning to try this class again in the future.
The Hot Pilates class on the other hand was unlike any form of pilates I have ever experienced. As the title of the class suggests, one would think it would be pilates based exercises that are going to be performed. Realistically, it had more of a boot camp feel. Although it was not a true pilates type class in terms of the exercises, it was definitely very warm in temperature. Thus, the «hot» portion of the title of the class is correct. It was a good class, but I feel the title may need a little revamping.
