Tania uses Mixed Martial Arts (kickboxing, wrestling, etc) as a kick-ass way to reach your fitness goals. You don’t have to be an MMA fighter to train like one! The great thing about working one on one with Tania as your personal trainer is that she can customize your workout to fit your unique goals, fitness level, disabilities, and personal preferences. It’s all about you. Tania will customize your workout in the areas of cardio, resistance training, nutritional meal planning, and what she calls ‘mental focus’ (goal setting, accountability, and thinking positively about your goals). Plus you will learn exciting, empowering, ass-kicking MMA moves (mostly from Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) that will keep you interested and excited about your your new, healthy lifestyle. So whether your goal is body fat loss, muscle gain, overall health, or if you’re just want to reignite that fire and take your fitness to a new level, Tania can customize a plan to get you there.
History
Established in 1999.
Tania began personal training at the age of 19 and has now been at it for 14 years! Originally she wanted to go into Physical Therapy and decided to work as trainer while she took Exercise Physiology courses at College of San Mateo. At CSM, Tania worked with a group of physical therapy patients as part of her training. This was a valuable experience because she got to compare the two career options. In her opinion, the choice was obvious. Personal training was a fun and exciting career option where she could proactively change lives through exercise, diet and other lifestyle choices. She loves watching her clients progress and feels that this is her true calling in life.
