My first positive Unilocal review! Day after Thanksgiving, my fridge broken and I was facing a left-​overs-​emergency. The 9−1−1 Appliance technician arrived early, immediately spotted the issue, made the repair quickly, and seemed like an all-​around good guy.

I needed a tech fast. Had a leaking refrigerator and I live upstairs and was leaving for a week. I didn’t want to come home to a flood and a pissed downstairs neighbor. First guy on Unilocal couldn’t come out for 2 weeks even tho I had the part I had overnighted from a website.
911 appliance sent someone out the next day. Jesse shows up on time and did a great job. 911 appliance said they don’t work on Samsung but since I had the part they could make it happen. Jesse took less than an hour and only charged me 65 $. I told him the phone quotes from others who couldn’t make it out soon enough were starting at $ 90 and up to $ 135. He said since 911 Appliance doesn’t service Samsung he would only charge me $ 65 since it was a training opportunity for him. I was like whatever here is $ 70. I was so happy. We tested it out and I showed him on the web where I purchased and he show me the $ 56 dollar bigger part the I could install myself that would of also fixed the problem.
911 Appliance is the real deal. Superman service on the appt phone and superman service on site. I had a 4−5appt window and Jesse called at 4 and arrived at 415. I am very impressed!!! Rock on 911 Appliance!!!

If only you could give negative stars. Their service is terrible, disorganized, and frankly unacceptable. I took the afternoon off work to meet with the technician who was a no call no show. Not only did the not take my calls they had the nerve to state there was a power outage.
I recommend if you have work, kids, any sort of schedule not to use these guys. They are unprofessional, unreliable, and flat out rude.

I recently hit a home run with a handyman (found on Unilocal) and have the best auto mechanic — so as a single gal without mechanical know-​how, I feel blessed to have selected 911 Appliance to complete my trifecta of repair awesomeness.
I was scheduled for a service call quickly (no one likes laundry piling up) and their service call charge was reasonable.
Abraham, the supremely knowledgeable technician arrived on time and was quite patient and kind considering I gave him my work address instead of my home address. He assessed the situation quickly and gave me options so that I could make the washing machine repair cost effective considering I had purchased the unit used and apparently defective. The machine used to screech like a jet engine during the spin cycle and I was getting embarrassed apologizing to neighbors every time I did laundry — it is now a joy to run the thing with it being so quiet. I have faith that I’ll get quite a few more years out of it and it will have been money well spent in purchasing the damaged unit and now having it in top shape.

Found them on Angie’s list. Scheduling was easy and they came out quickly to look at our refrigerator. They were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledge and corrected our problem easily at no additional charge beyond the initial fee. Great job!

My daughter referred me to this company as she used them and was very impressed. I have used them 3 times now and they get 5 stars easily. Each time I called, we got an appointment the very same day. Prices are extremely reasonable and the techs have always been so courteous and know what they are doing.

These guys are great, reliable, and honest and not overpriced. I have had them out 3 times because I have a 30 year old set of Maytag’s. they have gone far above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and get my issues resolved quickly, they don’t create issues to fix they are honest! Jesse, Abraham, and Anthony seem to all work in the morning and I would trust them with any appliance needing repair in the San Diego area. I will not go anywhere else!

Called this company and left a message for a callback and didn’t get one. Called again a little later, person answering doesn’t apologize for not calling back at all. Person asked what the problem was and then advised they do not repair tankless water heaters. Great. Do you think it would have been helpful if you had called back to let me know? How about a recommendation? Would have given this business a ZERO star rating…

This year (2012) we had techs from 911 Appliance out twice. Once was for dishwasher that wasn’t drying. They ended up remving and reinstalling a part I had replaced. Somehow that did the trick and was only charged $ 40. Another time fridge wasn’t getting called. They had to recharge freon for $ 180, but gave me $ 30 discount cause we had earlier work done on fridge. Good service, very reasonable charges. If there weren’t companies like 911 Appliance most people would end up tossing good appliances in junkyard.

Had a great experience with this company. Called in the morning, and got an appointment time for that same day. Requested for them to call me half hour out since I was at work and would leave to meet them at my house, and they did.
The techs Jesse and Anthony were straight forward and honest about the repairs that my refrigerator needed, and they answered all my questions in helping me make the best decision possible. We decided not to make the repairs since we have a new fridge in storage, but they still gave us the quote and the money paid for the visit for up to six months if we change our minds.
Definitely would call them again.

I would NEVER do business with this company. Rude people. No returned phone calls. Not responsive. I was treated like a second-​class citizen. Also, they COMPLETELY tried to rip me off on parts they ordered for an expensive range. They wanted over $ 500 for a part I ordered myself from Sears for $ 268. Please contact me for more details.

Called 911 Appliance yesterday because my refrigerator and freezer would not get cold enough. Not only were they able to schedule a next-​day appointment, but they had the parts I needed on hand, and fixed everything in one trip! The repair guys have only been gone thirty minutes and there’s already a night and day difference.
I’m adding their number into my phone so I never forget who to call, or recommend for an appliance issue.

Best service!!! My dishwasher wasn’t draining all the way so I ran to Unilocal and found this business. They scheduled me an appointment with a typical 2 hour window for ghe next day. Abraham showed up 15 minutes after their courtesy call and was incredibly friendly. Quick and efficient, he diagnosed and serviced the dishwasher in about 20 minutes. If you have any appliance issues give these guys a call. It’s a $ 40 service call if they don’t perform any repairs and if they do, the minimum is $ 65, which I feel like is completely the norm. I forgot they have a $ 15 coupon online as well-​so you can’t go wrong!

I called this company this morning to check out my Maytag gas stove, The oven was sounding like the oven kept relighting, (like a poofing sound) especially while it was auto pre heating. I called them around 9am and they gave me a window of time from 12pm — 2pm, same day, the guy arrived around 1pm. So far, so good. He was pleasant and seemed very knowledgeable of the symptoms of the oven I was explaining, he diagnosed it quickly, it was the igniter of the oven, it was wearing out. (This was also a reason why the oven would delay in heating up, at least 50 — 60 seconds to even start up). They seem to only last 3 — 4 years, depending on use, He did have one with him. I then asked about a stove top burner and how it was acting funny, one stream of the flame was much longer and bigger than the rest of the flame. He said the burner was rusting out and should be replaced. He had that part with him also. He gave me the estimate, and honored the total when he was done. The house call is free with any appliance repair. They also have a $ 15.00 dollar appliance repair coupon at their web site. They have a 1 year warranty and a low price guarantee. I would defiantly use them again.

The washing machine in the apt needed some love, after consulting Unilocal,I gave them a call. I had no problem getting a weekend appointment, Abraham showed up in the 1^st 20minutes of the given 2 hour window– awesome. I pretty much knew what was wrong, Abraham confirmed, fixed, and was done in maybe 12 minutes. Definitely pleased.

Fast service. Family Business. Abraham explained everything clearly and patiently. Fixed my washing machine same day & price was less than other places. I think it was $ 145. If you opt to not repair, it’s only $ 20. Very satisfied.

These guys are simply exceptional!!! I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowe’s. Just over a year after the fridge stopped working displaying error messages in the front panel. The guys at 911 Appliance came the same day, calling just before arriving. They fixed the issue by replacing the entire circuit board. Months later the fridge kept on giving us trouble. They came back and replaced the board one more time at no charge. They came on a Saturday as promised and got it working again. Our tech gave us his cell number in case something went wrong. Their commitment to satisfaction is just outstanding! I highly recommend them!

I called this company and was so surprised that they said they could come later the same day. I asked them to schedule the last apt of the day, which they did. They said he would call me 30 minutes before he came, which he did. He fixed the washer within an hour and the price was so reasonable. They have a $ 15 internet coupon on their website. And he has a one year warranty. The reason four four stars instead of five is that he scratched the top of my washer, but the good news is that he didn’t scratch my floor, and I don’t even care about the washer. A little appliance paint will fix it.

I called because we were having trouble with our oven not lighting. They made an appointment for a tech to come out. He didn’t show during the 2 hour timeframe. He came out later and said the master board was bad and it would cost nearly $ 600 to replace it.
I called a 2^nd appliance repair company for another estimate and they diagnosed a bad oven switch… total cost under $ 150.

Very nice company! I got home from work and my fridge was not working. They came over in less than an hour! I couldn’t believe it. I thought I’d have to make an appointment for the next day or even a couple days later and they came right over.
They fixed my fridge and I’m happy that I now have a fix it person to come over when I need them. Yae.
