A Clear View Auto Glass

Absolutely wonderful customer service. They arrived to my house while I was at work, and (with my permission), fixed my windshield. The new one looks great. If you are unfortunate enough to break a windshield, rest assured, these guys will do a great job at a very reasonable price!

Unfortunately, the chip in my windshield was too deep to repair. Billy filled it with some glue and cleaned up my windshield for zero dollars. Thank you so much Billy for being honest and caring. I will only call Billy now if anything goes wrong with my windshield!

First of all I would like to thank Billy for doing a GREAT job !!! After searching for various window replacement shops. Billy was my go to with the best price !! He was also very professional and courteous. He arrived the same day while others were booked and needed to wait a minimum of 24 hours to schedule. Billy was fast, clean and most of all brought quality !!! Btw my Car was broken into and he cleaned up and replaced the window. Thank you once again Billy and GOD bless.

My back window in my car was smashed a few days ago, so I spent all day calling everyone and trying to find the best price. I ended up getting lucky with someone who found a used window for me a little cheaper, but before that this place had the best price by far. It was at least a hundred dollars cheaper than any other place I talked to, and Billy was super nice and professional. Even though I didn’t end up using his service, I appreciate his friendliness and enthusiasm. I will be going here for my window needs if there is a next time.

These guys were awesome! I met Billy and he was super friendly and professional. Fixed my vent window to my car and it looks brand new! YOU WILL NOT FIND BETTER SERVICE/​PRICE! I REALLY CHECKED! This company deserves some sort of honest-​hardworking, best customer service award! Billy went above and beyond when my car window wouldn’t roll up. He sent over Caeser and Martine to fix my window. Caeser searched for hours for an inexpensive motor, and worked with me on the price. Quoted me at least $ 50.00 under the other guys. Actually when I called to compare, another store said — «Wow, that’s a good price, I can’t beat it.»
They came after hours because I was worried about my car getting broken into again (which is what caused my window damage in the first place). He and Martine worked so fast, and we just completely are satisfied! They are such nice people, and they work so hard. THANK YOU so much. I will never go to anyone else. Lifelong customer!

I called for an estimate to replace my windshield, they gave me a quote. I told them I found them on Unilocal but couldn’t remember the deal off hand, so the guy offered to knock off $ 20 and give me a final price «out the door.» I made the appt and after I hung up I checked the ad deal. It was for 20% off. I called back and asked if they could honor the 20% off and he said let me tell you what I’ll give it to you for $ 280 out the door which was still more than what I would’ve paid with the discount. Needless to say I cancelled my appointment because I felt like he gave me the run around and was making up prices. Very strange.

Those are the words that come to mind after my experience with A Clear View.
I had a small chip in my windshield last year and made the mistake of ignoring it. After a hot summer day working in East County I came out to find the chip had turned into a full blown crack… UGH! I have been putting off getting it fixed since last summer and after a little encouragement from SDPD I decided it was time to do something about it. I did a quick search on Unilocal and found A Clear View, they were the first company I called and I was so blown away by Billy’s politeness and professionalism I didn’t even bother to call anyone else. Billy told me that they would try to squeeze me in yesterday, but I understood if he couldn’t. They ended up not being able to squeeze me in, but Billy called me and kept me informed with plenty of time. Today he kept me updated as to their status and arrived on time to do the job. There was a problem with some rust under the windshield (its an older truck), Billy called me up to the street to take a look at it and explained the situation. Billy and Brendan were in and out in under 20min and they did a beautiful job! I will be referring them to anyone I know that needs windows replaced on their car. Do yourself a favor and make one call to A Clear View for all of your vehicle window needs!

On a Saturday morning, I was not hopeful to find an auto glass repair place that would either be open or available to squeeze me in on such short notice. While pacing and cursing my broken window and the person that made it so, I found this place. On a hope and a prayer, I called and the gentleman I spoke to asked to call me back so he could find my glass. Within about ten minutes, he called back and said they would be able to fix my window this afternoon. I insisted on going to them, but they insisted that they would come to me, no matter where I was in San Diego. Billy showed up with a coworker and his dog around 3pm. We chatted briefly about the circumstances that led me to calling them and they were genuinely apologetic and sympathetic. Not only did they do an outstanding job replacing my glass expeditiously, but they also vacuumed all the broken glass out of my car (which is the second worst part of having your car broken into). When they were done, Billy made sure I was happy with their work. It is almost unfortunate that this is a (hopefully) one time interaction, because this was some of the best customer service I have received from any business. I would not only highly recommend patronizing this business, but I would happily use it again if I find myself in a similar situation. He provides great customer service, fast, friendly with an amazing puppy. He was very fast and efficient with the job he did. My windshield was so cracked up. I was happy he came to me, which made it very convenient. I would recommend him any day. You will not find anyone better than him. Great quality product and service. It was also affordable. Billy has just pulled down my drive way, and I couldn’t wait to write a great review on Unilocal for him! I needed to fix a huge horrible cracked windshield on one car. The appointment time was set for around 8am, but Billy was running late. When I mentioned that he was running behind and we had been waiting– he nicely said that he wouldn’t charge me any tax on the windshield so I could get it at a discount. :) Then, I mentioned my other car had a rock chip in it and he said– let me take a look at it. Then he fixed it fo’ free to make up for being late again! You can tell he values his work and his customers (he provides a lifetime warranty on the windshields).
All of this was done with a super friendly attitude AND on his birthday! Thanks for your hard work and your professional courteous attitude.

The pulley system for my rear driver side window broke so I called around a few places for quotes. Billy gave me the lowest quote so I went with his service and I’m glad I did. He showed up on time, was courteous, and most importantly fixed my window. He included a lifetime warranty and a future rock chip repair. I would definitely recommend for any car window or windshield issues.

My window got broken out in my parking garage. I was so upset and wanted it fixed asap. After getting a quote for $ 100 more and a day later, Bill saved the day by fixing the issue same day. He is really nice and professional. He might not always be available same day, as we can get busy with work, but my experience was prompt, affordable & made best of a crappy situation I woke up to. Fast and genuinely friendly service. Great honest work that was finished in 40 minutes. His dog is really cool too. Best recommendation from iPhones Siri ever. Lifetime warranty and promised to even fix any immediate chips in the windshield. Overall nice guy, and equally nice quality work!

I contacted Billy at Clear View a few months back. I had my car broken into and was not a happy camper. Billy eased my frustration by showing up quickly to clean my glass and replace my window. There was a slight mix up in the color of tint on the replacement window. I probably would have never noticed, but Billy was a complete professional and brought it to my attention. He explained the issue and said he would be back to fix it. Sure enough Billy corrected the mistake. He replaced the glass with a more expensive window and didn’t charge me any more! You can judge a man/​business by his word. Billy came through on his word and now I have a perfect replacement! I appreciate his work, follow through and professionalism. We all make mistakes, but it is how you handle those mistakes that show your character as a person. Good job Billy, I will make sure I recommend you to all my friends!

A Clear View Auto Glass is as good as it gets! My windshield was smashed by a baseball and needed to be replaced. Bill (owner) from A Clear View Auto Glass came and replaced my windshield the same day I called. He was prompt, professional, and the service was done in a timely manner.
I stayed with my car while he did the work, so I had a chance to speak with Bill. This guy is overqualified for his work, but he loves what he does. He is honest, knowledgable, and the carries the kind of professionalism that earns respect from clients as well as peers.
I received quality work at a fair price, and I am glad I went with A Clear View Auto Glass over any other company.

A few days ago I noticed a chip in my New Kia Soul front windsheld that expaned to a crack. My wife actually Unilocaled for Help, called Clearview Auto Glass and talked to Billy the Owner.
The next day I called, talked to Billy and he quoted me a price I could not refuse!!! That afternoon Billy and Mike came to my job parking lot and within 20 minutes I had a brand new windshield installed!!! (I barely had time to finish my lunch!!) I was impressed with Billy and Mike’s friendly customer serivce, in fact while they wrapped up on my windshield, two other customers where impressed and inquired about having Clearview Auto Glass replace their front windshields!!!

I should have wrote this review a month or so ago, but time slipped by… Either way, I highly recommend Clear View Auto Glass!
My windshield had a huge spider crack from the rear view mirror, and as a female, I was concerned of being taken advantage of. Therefore, I called several places to get comparable quotes and expected time of repair.
These guys were on the road, but called me back quickly. Great quote, plus they use the high quality glue that settles quicker (so you can drive relatively shortly after the repair). Not only did they do great work, but they re-​mounted my rear view mirror!
