My wife had a pair of one of a kind pictures framed here a couple years ago. Both pictures have come loose from the frame and have sagged downward. I am taking them in today to see how good the customer service is for repairing their work. I will update my review when I find out.

Went there and I think my clerk must have been having a bad day. I will still come back.
I like to give the benefit of the doubt.

I took two items to get framed at Aaron Brothers, and Michael was extremely helpful! Although there was some initial sticker shock (nearly $ 250 for two small prints), they both turned out beautifully and were well put together. They far exceeded my expectations.
I ordered them a week before I was having a party at my house, and Michael was confident they could get done by that date. When I called the day before, I was told they were not ready and there were 35 (!) other orders in front of me. I expressed my disappointment and a few hours later they called me and said they would be ready by 9:00 PM. What great customer service, thank you!

Had to get a custom frame today and we were greeted at the door asking if we needed help. They informed us that the credit card system was down so we were aware before checking out, I thought that was really nice instead of showing up at the register and then being told that. Great selection of frames also. The man at the counter was helpful too by showing us our options on the computer. I still think they are over priced even with the coupon of 55% off plus and extra 20% off of that but we got great service so I appreciate that.

Richard was great and my order was ready to pick up the next day! Not a huge project but still an odd sized picture that I didn’t know what to do with. They have great deals and I bought a bunch of other stuff while I was there.

I had a frame made for a drawing I got at the Comic CON. The service was slow to come to me or when I asked questions. The person, was with another customer, and it was soo long for them to finish up. But I finally got to put in my order. It was ready about two weeks later. And the price was way to much. But, next time I will have to go elsewhere, for my picture framing done, for a cheaper price. And their art supplies are to much, unless they have a sale on seasonal items, only.

We tried to have a 20×24 print framed and it was 250 for a customer frame which is rediculous but besides that the staff was awesome and super helpful. We got some other cool stuff there and had a coupon for 40% Off which was epic !

Just picked up our custom order frame and Troy, the guy who did the frame was a little frustrated because I asked them to fix one thing. Sorry to have troubled you by walking into your establishment and giving you work and your company money. I won’t be making that mistake again.
I wanted to take a look at the frame and he quickly flashed it front and back and then started putting it away. When I asked him if I can take a look and take a photo of it to send it to my loved one for review, he seemed a bit frustrated. I noticed one little blemish on the backside and they were actually a couple but I only pointed out one and I asked him if he can slice off a little piece of paper that was hanging over the edge from the backside. He didn’t say anything at all, he grabbed it frustratingly and walked away in a huff and slice the piece off. Upon return he didn’t even let me examine the peace, he try to wrap it up again right away. I asked if I can take a look at it one more time and he walked away. He went into the back and came back out and then asked if you could wrap up the piece. On his way out gave me a very bland «okay, bye!» Not even a thank you and have a good day and it’s the holidays. I made it a point to walk back and asked for his name and thank him for his time although it didn’t matter to him that I walked back and offered kindness. That’s when I decided to write a review.
The frame looks pretty good although the craftsmanship/​handiwork on the backside of it was not that great. The paper is not sealed properly and bubbling up in certain areas and pinched over in one spot. I will probably take it back home and redo it myself or take it to another person to have them just redo the backside. I will not be returning to this store again, i’d rather offer my money to a local family run framing business even if they charge a little bit more. They will get it done right.
Sorry Troy for ruining your day by asking you to slice off a little piece of paper that was hanging over the edge of the frame which you assembled. I hope you have a better day and a happy holidays. Don’t look at this as a negative review, look at this as room for improvement. Cheers!

This particular location has extraordinarily disgruntled and rude employees. I prefer the mission valley location. As for Aaron Brothers prices, it is what it is.

If you pay the full price for their products, it is not cheap. However, there’s pretty much always a sale going on, BOGO, etc. Great selection of frames, similar, if not, better than Michael’s. And I just got my first custom frame made, it took a little longer than their 10 day turn around (took 14 days), but I was extremely satisfied on the finished product. When I was initially having it made, the price that my piece was going to cost blew me away, I was not expecting a couple hundred $$$, so I asked the framer helping me if there were any deals or coupons I could use. Sure enough, he looked and I believe I got 40% off, which brought the price down to a much more reasonable amount for my piece. Customer service is hit or miss, but it’s not a huge store, just go find someone if you need help.

They have a very large selection of frames but it’s way over-​priced, so unless you have a 40% or 50% off coupon or they have a BOGO deal, it’s just not a good deal to get anything at regular price.
They do have a lot of unique frames and it’s good quality. They also have a small selection of art supplies which are also over priced. I got a small drawing matted and framed there and with the discount included, it ended up costing north of $ 100. Looking back, I could have done it myself for much less.

Really bad customer service. I could hardly get the people that worked there to answer my questions. Word of advice to anyone that wants to do framing go to Michael’s. At least they answer questions, give advice, and show you different ways to make your picture look amazing!

What a horribly managed inefficient store. They were having computer issues and made me wait 20 minutes (I was the only customer in the store), then estimated $ 130 to frame a small $ 25 piece of art. I asked for alternate solutions and was offered none. Save the hassle and your money and go to Michaels.

Over over and overpriced framing and framing staff consistently not friendly! I hope to never have to deal with them again!

This Aaron brothers is hard to get to from the Petco parking lot across a busy street. There was a big sale sign outside so I rolled the dice and drove across to it. The sale section was small. Boo. Luckily I found a 18×24 frame I wanted on sale. Score!
It was awkward to watch the loud brunette «supervisor» yell at her poor frame store employees several times and then announce she was going on break to «eat her fruit» in the back. Keep it down lady! My goodness! The only reason the second star was added was because I got a good frame on sale and the man that just got yelled at and rang me up was very nice. I wanted to give him a hug.

Aaron brothers is one of the best stores for artists. They have everything you might need. All sorts of paint all sizes, shapes, colors, and other characteristics frames. I am an artist, so i am a regular customer in their store.
The assortment is the best on the market, but their prices are a bit more than in other art stores

GREAT service.
Every year I have to get boards cut into custom sizes and this is my go to location. I was reminded today why I continue to shop here.
I didn’t realize there was a location in Mission Valley so I stopped by there since I was already in the area. Our business was basically turned away due to some sale they were having and they were backed up on custom orders. Despite telling them we could wait a few days, or even a week to pick up the boards we were told to go to a «low volume store». That meant La Mesa or Mira Mesa. Those two locations weren’t convenient so I stopped by the Point Loma location. Joan and Danielle helped us right away. We were told they were a busy location too but they always find a way to get it done. I appreciate that kind of customer service.
I highly recommend this location.

Tim took my order for a custom job. It was way over priced — $ 90! — for simple white matte with black edge around the image. I even left the original, which they sell in store, so they could match it.
We get it home and the black is almost half an inch too thick compared to the original. I called right away, they told me to bring it back and they would «make it right».
When I came back, the gentleman working was nice. But then, Tim came out and saw that boched job he did and said «oops» and didn’t even look concerned or like he was sorry for the mistake. Although James told me they would «make it right» on the phone, the clerk helping me made no offer. I had to ask him to go ask the manager what they could do for me. The manager didn’t both to come out and talk to me about the situation.
Overall, very disappointed with the work they did and the customer service.

I needed to find a cheaper framing solution to my usual shop that specializes in «gallery» quality framing. I have several original travel posters and over the years when the personal finances allow, I get one framed. This year, I really wanted one of my posters framed so my family could enjoy it. So I went to Aaron Brothers to see what they could offer. They had the higher end options like proper poster matting, no reflection glass, and UV protection. They were less expensive, and the lady doing the framing was knowledgeable and had some good suggestions.
Recommend if you need something more than basic framing, but less than gallery quality.
