Prices were somewhat reasonable. Only complaint to make was the young lady that checked us out at the register had attitude and body language of not wanting to be there, even though it was Saturday.

Stop supporting this terribly awful uniform company. One place I will never support again want good deals good gear shop nalpac in El Cajon or shop online I got 5.11 tactical taclite pro pants for 35.99 or less when cheap.

Wow! So many things to choose from. I came in for some shoes for my nursing class and they have so many! Lupita was awesome! She was very helpful and patient with me. I probably tried on like 7 pairs of shoes and I left as a happy customer (: I’m very pleased with how my first experience here went.

My husband and I went into ace for the first time today after being referred by one of my coworkers. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of options available! I am a nurse and my husband is a police officer fresh out of academy and we were both able to find exactly what we were looking for! The owner Marc was actually able to help us personally and made sure that we got everything we needed. Great prices, and customer service! I will definitely be going back and referring this store to others.

Great selection, huge inventory. Got my SAR stuff dialed in quickly. Do yourself a favor and shop a week before you need the clothes, as it will take some time for and patches, modifications, or tailoring to happen. Prices aren’t dirt cheap, but given the selection, tailoring, and location it’s worth it to me. Being open Saturday mornings is huge too.

I’m a massage therapist and recently ruined a favorite work top by getting a large oil stain on it. I used to wear scrubs to work and know that these days they have some very flattering ones, also wanted to check out some work aprons. I went to Ace and was in a bit of a hurry. Every worker there looked busy, but also noticed me and stopped what they were doing to inquire whether they could help me. Two of the workers showed me the aprons and I decided on one right away that was cute and would protect my clothes and had pockets for my oil and such. They brought me to the cash register right away and the manager rung me up. He gave me his card and let me know they do logos on all there uniforms, aprons, etc … I was in and out in probably less then 10 min and was pleasantly surprised at how hospitable everyone was in the short time I was there. I will definitely be back.

Im not one to write reviews, but this place definitely deserve one… Visited this store and boy ol boy… This is not your average scrub uniform store… They have a variety of brands and patterns… I felt as if I was in heaven… The customer service was the best Ive experienced while shopping… If youre in the San Diego area and looking for a scrub store, please visit ACE uniforms store!!! A huge thank you to the management for the awesome customer service today… As Arnold say, I’ll be back!!!

I ordered a stethoscope here. Price matching was appreciated however, online options still offered more for less including free shipping. I chose to support local businesses and now i sit here 3 weeks later with NO stethoscope. I’ve missed 2 clinical practice days and an exam around the corner. THANKS ACE!

Staff there is awesome in helping me find what I’m looking for. Sometimes they’re able to give discounts depending on who u wrk for. They have good products and a lot of law enforcement get their uniforms and accessories there.

I’m so glad this is a place downtown that has customer parking. It’s easier to find parking in the back. Everyone who helped me (A partially balding funny old man, Lupita, and Teresa) were really helpful and had a great attitude. I had logos done on two scrub tops and bought slip resistant shoes. My only dislike is that it’s kind of expensive. But they have all kinds of things for work. So much variety! It’s a one stop shop.

They have everything you can possibly think of to go with your uniform. A good variety of high quality products. The workers drop what they’re doing to help u if u ask & don’t bother u if u simply wanna browse on your own. I went in for keepers and came out with a huge smile on my face and other things I had no idea they had (clips, name tags).
I’ve seen the guy polish shoes too. OH MY GOSH! I wanted to buy boots just to get them polished by this guy. He’s so fast and puts a lot of effort into his work.
Taylor ladies are phenomenal! Ive seen theyre work on my friend’s uniforms and I would compare it to the work my old taylor lady in LA did. These ladies sewn lines were so much more cleaner and the patches were much more presentatable. They are very personable.
I could go on about how organized and clean the place is but the fact that they have everything u would need including friendly customer service should be enough.

I am a 62 year old Black man who was born in south Alabama. My visit to the store on 6^th ave today caused me to feel that I was being discriminated against for probably the first time in my life. Without going into too much detail, I made a comment to that effect after being treated rudely by a manager who identified herself as Lori.
I also did not appreciate being questioned by an employee who I believe called himself Manny, and being told by him not to disrespect his manager. If he and I had been in another environment, I would have educated him on lecturing people on issues that should be no concern of his.
Needless to say, I will never do business with their company again, and will attempt to dissuade anyone else from going there.

I needed to stop by because my school’s uniforms are only sold here. Letecia (sp?) was very helpful in helping me find what I needed and she was really friendly. I had a good experience.
I’m only giving them 4 stars because they are really expensive. There’s parking at the front and back of the building.

First time coming here for my EMS uniform gear and this place is great! Everything you could ever need or imagine! The staff is super friendly and helpful. I came in about two times a couple days ago and I was greeted each time and even walked to the area that I needed to go to as well. Pricing is the same that I would see at my own company. Overall very impressed

Stay away from this place! My school required my class to purchase our uniforms from Ace Uniforms. Their online website did not look secure, but since I had no other option from school, I made my purchase through Ace’s website. A few weeks later, we found out 80% of my classmates, myself included, had our credit card information stolen. We contacted Ace Uniforms and received a denial that this could happen. Later, we received an email stating that they investigated and their website was not compromised. Would you believe that 80% of a group of people that purchase from this website had their credit cards stolen by pure coincidence? I don’t think so.

I work as a chef here in San Diego and Ace is the place for chef shoes classic clogs to new school design for men and women there uniform selection is top notch and if they don’t have it they can get it and if it’s still not right they can make it too the embroidery shop has no equal in San Diego. I visited yesterday and was helped by Sarina she was helping another customer but promptly let me know she was on her way over. I found a couple of coats I was looking for she came over and helped me find some new dansko clogs. the shoes she pointed out to me where a perfect fit. To wrap up my trip she grabbed a couple pairs of fresh dickies and had me out the door with a smile on my face. Whether your a nurse doctor policeman fireman military security guard chef waiter they have everything you need to get you looking good.

The store is definitely overwhelming due to a lack of esthetic organization… However, I was greeted immediately as I walked in the door and the gentleman pointed me in the right direction. He mentioned they did custom embroidering if that was something I needed. Great tip, because I had no idea they offered that service! I opted out of the service, because I have yet to decide if I want my uniform embroidered.
Heading over to the Medical section, I passed the law enforcement section and was very tempted to purchase some of those fun things! Hats, patches, anything really… Ooh… The possibilities are endless!
Ok, let’s stay focused.
I knew exactly what I was looking for, which made the browsing easy. The difficulty was finding a size that fit. They all run so big! Yesenia approached me within a few minutes — and was absolutely wonderful.
The attentiveness from the staff, in the midst of this uniform-​cluttered world was great. They have everything and then some for uniformed professionals.
Next purchase on my list: SWAT.

Mark the shark has earned that name for a reason. Instead of helping out people, he will exploit them for their money. I haven’t bought anything from here in years. Last uniform I bought from here, the hemming fell apart on the pants in less than a month. On top of that, it looked less than professional because the hemming was so obvious it had a huge crease. If this place offered honest personable service this review would be different. 60% of the staff is great, the rest is like used car salsemen. Prices are OK but obviously marked up.
If Johnny the shoe shiner had his own Unilocal,he would get 5 stars. He does a great job and is good peeps.

I am not pleased with ACE — at all.
I came in for two new uniform shirts. — no patches, no embroidery — nothing.
How hard can that be right? No. It’s totally difficult. I asked for a shirt they have to carry and they had only one or the two I was interested in. The young lady that was assisting me was young and unprofessional. I don’t expect a lot from a uniform store but when dealing with professionals that consume your products you need to be also.
They had one of my two shirts. And the young lady had to order the other shirt. .
I came by today and opened the delivered package and low and behold it’s the WRONG SHIRT.
ace– I will never ever shop with you guys again I think you’re unprofessional and incapable of bringing your consumers a good and CORRECT product. I wish everyone would shop at the other family operated uniform shops that are CAL Uniforms and EEE — near Qualcomm.
It just blows me away that not just myself but my BF has had horrible experiences here at this location. I urge all uniform seekers to select their uniforms else where.
** and especially don’t let them sew/​embroider things for you at all! The quality of work is just s***!
